  1. So a couple of questions, first as far as I understand Minazuki has strong pressure with just 5A alone but not sure how to get my opponent scared to hit buttons to mix command grabs in cause I usually get stuffed out of then when my opponent starts using A buttons back. Another thing I'm a bit confused about is when to use 2C or 2D, they look like good moves to toss out to counter zone with but I haven't had much success with sniping with these.

  3. I've noticed in one vid that it looks like we don't need to link Phoriser after strike fall now, I saw strike fall do a ground bounce like animation kinda similar to Ragna doing the axe kick follow up on ID. I'll link the vid to where I saw that later, have to look for it again.

  5. Oh man, just seeing that Aegis blade is a DP now, man I can't help but feel very happy I don't have to use meter or a well timed 6A to fight people off. So does that mean Aegis blade on block can still be teleport canceled? So just cause I can't read Japanese, so for trans am, does it consume a maximum of 4 and a minimum of 1 right? So was it mentioned if its possible to control how many gets consumed like pressing X number of buttons = how many it consumes or is it always gonna take 4 and/or whatever remain stocks you have under 4?
  6. I'm having some trouble with 2C (FC) 236B 4B jA jB(1). I can't get get jB to come out after I hit with jA, I'm landing before it even comes out. Do I need to link jA earlier or something?
  7. So I noticed this combo that's listed for mid screen, 5A>5AA>2B>5B>2AB>214A>4A>4AB>2A>5B (1 Hit) >2B>2AB>214B>4B>4A doesn't work on Sho, Minazuki, Yukiko and Kanji. Not sure if you have to change the 2A link for them and I couldn't test it on Margaret just cause English version doesn't have her yet.
  8. So mortar loop question, so when doing 5aaaa 214A jAB 214A 2AC x2 if they are teching out of the second 214A (after jAB) am I inputting 214A too slow? Also the transcript in the earlier post for it has a typo where it's jAC instead of j2AC got me confused when I was trying the combo out.
  9. I watched like the first 5 minutes of it, wasn't able to watch all of it so I guess I'll take a look at it some more when I get the chance cause there was a lot of things about Heavy arms I didn't know could do.

  11. I haven't really been able to keep track of all the news for this version, so are most of the changes in the last location test final or has some other change list pop up lately? Been wanting to know if Izayoi will be getting that DP buff and such.

  13. So questions about melee speed and priority. So when melee moves are mentioned to have high priority, what does that exactly mean when you are using a melee move that may have high priority but slow in terms of speed and are being approached by a melee with high speed but lower priority? I'm having a bit of a confusing time understanding how priority works in this game, I've had a few cases where I seem someone coming at me with a melee and try to counter it with one with a move with high priority, though I imagine the fact I had to turn around also may have played a part in it but either way still confused on the subject.
  14. So when I look at a suit's melee move set, what would be the defining trait(s) the move is cut proof?
  15. I'm not sure what you are trying to do here, cause 2D and 3D are the exact same thing to start. If you mean 3C that does work, otherwise could you explain what you are looking for?
  16. So I don't think I understand what it means to play the back role in this game even though I get what it means on paper, is there any suit's you guys would recommend that are good back units? I wanna watch some vids to see how people like to approach playing in the back based on the suggestions.
  17. I have some friends locally interested in getting this game and I wanted to ask what you would need to do so 4 people can be able to play locally, I do know that everyone still needs to logged into PSN but is there anything else you need to do past that?
  18. So quick question about about Rail vs Beam Launcher, so based on what I was seeing on the wiki page, it looks like there's almost no reason to use the Rail just from looking at how it does less damage and has less priority, would there be a reason to use the Rail over the Beam Launcher?

  20. So what does 4A+B+C OS? So as far as timing 1A+B+C goes, should I be timing it as he dashes? I'm just trying to get an idea how generally when it needs to be done before I start putting in lab work cause this is really good info I'm getting.
  21. So while I'm at it still, so in the situations when he does get in and starts to get tricky with forward dash cross ups, just how safe or unsafe is it to do something like that cause I never seem to be able to do anything against it.
  22. I have a lot of times where I can't airthrow my opponent just cause they coming in with a fast jumping normal or a series of them. /: So by dashing under, is the idea basically just to avoid getting pressured?

So this is a bit of an odd question about the neutral in this game, I've been running into situations where it feels like its impossible to approach with some character's swing normals around during any kind of air movement (so things like after a back air dash or after a double jump) and this wall sometimes gets created and usually gets well mixed in with not being able to approach from air to ground either. In situations like these I can't get my opponent to get scared an attempts to go air to air with them usually ends badly for me and my chances to go for air throws get stuffed cause I'm taking a normal to the face. -_- I'm also having trouble throw teching in this game, my throw tech game used to be pretty spot on but I've been running into a lot of TRM from using the A+B+C OS and it kills me that I can't tech as well as I'd like nor can I really open people up with throws cause I'm getting throw teched super easy and not sure how to cause a TRM myself. I've heard before its possible to react to throw techs but my reaction time has kinda diminished these days sadly /:

I got some questions with anti airing with Noel, I know 6A on paper is her go to anti air but a lot of times I can't seem to use this like some anti airs that hit a little more vertical, I know this is more of the lines of "its mostly about getting the spacing" but there are some angles where some people approach from the air that I can't seem to use 6A for, generally I know this is pretty good at stopping low air dashes and some jump is but when it comes to situations where its pretty above her head I can't seem to find the right moves to stop a lot of these approaches. So besides 6A what are some other anti air options Noel can use?

So if you Azrael players are cool with it, I'm trying to look at how Azrael wants to basically steamroll matches cause this is seriously one of the more harder matches for me to play cause it feels like everything I IB or do anything against I'm constantly boxed in by his pressure and mix ups. So as Azrael players, what is it you guys are hoping your opponent to do and what you are hoping they don't do? Honestly when I fight this character its like the light at the end of he tunnel fades cause he has such strong normals and pressure that it feels like I have to play 2-3 times more harder to try and keep up with basically most aspects of him. Granted I know some characters like Ragna can keep him honest if played right but as I said, I'd like to understand how Azrael players look at the match, the local player that's been bodying me doesn't have much advise he thinks he can give me aside from the obvious "keep him out" game plan. So I really would appreciate and kind of information I can get for developing a game plan against him.
