  1. *face plam* Ok if we are talking about using it as an ender then that should work. I was under the impression we where talking about keeping pressure cause that was what was being asked earlier.
  2. This wouldn't really work cause GA 3C can only be special cancelable on hit.
  3. She has stuff like instant air dash jA/jB/jC or empty instant air dash go low. There's also stance canceling for pressure and creating mix ups like that. There's also using sonic saber and using D teleport to force a cross up or fake cross up situation.
  4. Noir Edgr loop does have some practical uses, you can use it to combo to astral or in over drive try to finish them off before over drive ends if you need that extra bit of damage. The change list is on the first page of this topic.
  5. If I want to instant air dash off of a jump cancelable normal, generally how soon or late do you need to input that? Generally when I try to buffer instant air dash after the normal, generally I just see my character jump and not air dash.

  7. Hmm that's an interesting question, I'm not familiar with what Valk can do during wolf form (aside from instant overhead head chews), I'll mess with it in the lab and see if that is something he has to respect.
  8. Ok I was just wondering if there was a way to do it in game, I'll probably do that the next time I record a match, I don't have any nice recording equipment so I'm probably gonna have to find a way to stabilize my footage and black out the names with an editor.

Alright based on what I got from a match that wasn't 3bar (even though the game said it was) here are some of my findings for the match. 6A has some better utility in this match but still needs to be done kinda early, handy if you smell an overhead coming your way, gives you some space to breathe. Air sonic saber seems a bit double edged to use from what I saw, he can easily run under it as a wolf but it still can keep him in bay in the right places. Using jA seems to be a good way to keep him a little honest when he's zipping around as a wolf. Air D sonic saber makes a pretty decent temporary wall if you have the stocks to spare. I guess bottom line is try not to get cornered, cause man that just freaking sucks to be in...

  11. The combos pretty much are the same with maybe adding 3C somewhere in the combo, though I think the damage might be different cause she does do a little less damage now.

These are both match ups that I'm still struggling with (and I figure its about time I take advantage of this thread myself). I apologize for the quality, I don't have anything nice at the moment.

  14. Sorry for the double post, but I got a quick question. So when your watching replays, is it possible to turn off the players name? I got a few matches I want to record to get feedback on and don't want to show the player names for the sake of privacy and such.
  15. Oh ho ho, this is a nice find wish I saw this before I went online. Edit; I messed with this a little more so you can get 8 stocks if you do this instead. Stuff, 3C 236B 214A 3C 236B 214A 3C 623B 214B 623B The last 623B is a little tight but I guess depending on what you want you can go for meter or positioning.
  16. I don't play on pad but it can be an error on your end, though it is pretty common for Izayoi players to get 623C instead of the distortion drive.
  17. This is a tough question to answer for the parts about going in anyway. With the 3C change she has during GA you can net a decent amount of damage, you would pretty much do combos that wouldn't involve using Asteria or Strike Fall, some you might do something like this, hover dash jC 5B 5C 3C 236B 214A 2B 5C JC jB jC JC jB jC 236C. I dunno how much damage that will net you nor do I know if that's her best stock-less combo. I can't really answer the part about when you would go in without stock but I would imagine it might be when you see a chance and happen to be in GA when you where positioning yourself.

  20. Wait I'm a little confused, by zero frame, does that mean you have to buffer the dash and hit the button you want before it even becomes active?

  22. Well there are things like making sure you at least have a red target sight when your try to get a hit in, that indicates your at least close enough to hit them. Getting hit when I land is something I'm still working on myself but things that help would be to try to avoid overheating, do things like side step (tapping a direction twice) before landing, or just side step a lot when your grounded, and try to land away from your opponents.
  23. That seems about right to me, she gets disrespected really easy, can't wait till the patch to drop though, it's gonna be fun messing with new tech with her.
  24. So another question occurred to me while, if I want to do something about the pressure I'm in, say like poke in between strings, should I not have barrier up for that? I know barrier blocking leaves you with an extra frame of block stun so wouldn't that mean you wouldn't be able to counter poke as easy cause of that?
  25. Yea sure I'll mention some scenarios I've had to sit through. So against Nu for example, I feel like she's able to sit in ranges where I really can't do much about her normals plus the D swords. Getting pressured by the D swords isn't that bad but I usually start getting weared down by her C normals and sneaking in overheads is what really gets me. I find it worse in the corner cause Nu can use a lot of things to keep me there. Against a character like Litchi, I usually am just getting constantly hammered by staff attack and the range of her normals. I play against someone locally also where he uses Litchi to keep some constant pressure like that and sit's in ranges where I can't really reversal out either (say like using Ragna's ID). I'm also running into similar cases with Platinum but I think that's mostly cause I don't have much match up experience really. I should mention for the Nu and Litchi stuff they don't jump cancel cause I notice when people do that's usually my cue to get out or do something about my current situation. Against someone like Rachael I usually have to take the pressure cause of george shocking me and I have to start trying to guess and look for instant overhead stuff and that's a nightmare to deal with. >> Nearly forgot to mention a lot of times I seem to almost seem to run out of barrier.
