  1. Oh I meant to say that you can't grab tech, that's my bad. I'm going to fix that. Been a long day of stuff with new forums and having to explain stuff across multiple games -_-
  2. Yes, you can mash throw in order to tech a grab in a lot of games. This is why frame traps exist, to blow up people mashing tech. UNiEL has shield that puts you in a state where you can't grab tech, but it also has a crouch tech OS.

    Baiting Bursts

    There aren't really a whole lot that are designed just for baiting bursts. Sometimes 2B can bait them but that's about it. You can use OMB and Megido to make stuff burst safe sometimes at the least.

  12. This is the only warning I'm going to give out for this. Every time a new character is announced, particularly a long sought after character, we have to clean up this thread incredibly hard from wild speculation and non-gameplay nonsense. Hype is fine and I love it, but keep it under control. If it gets out of control I'll temp lock the thread. It's already getting pretty dumb in here.
  13. Hey all PSA remember to pick netplay stages and be courteous with connections and not skipping intros. If for some reason you have an unplayably bad connection (like between me and the Kanji I just played) courteous passing is a thing.

  15. If you use C ender AOA will always fatal. D ender you need the 18 hits. I think he's talking about how Aigis uses AOA to get spear after C Megido. You don't really see it much anymore so I assumed proration makes it so they tech out too soon for the bigger combos. Also a number of sweeps would go under Mitsuru's stuff, it just was so specific you never ever saw it, hence the universal sweep buff.

  19. No. There's a long discussion to be had about when mashing is appropriate, just mashing 2A is not basic defense.
  20. Aigis controls very similarly in the next game so learning how to do the advanced movement now is good. Most of her combo routes are pretty similar too, minus 5AA for launch into mode change. You can still do j.2B into mode change, you just do something different. Proration nerfs mean that her meterless combos will be shorter, but double megido is intact with meter. Triple Megido is unfortunately gone. Also, j.C is still 8 frames according to the mook. The nerf was the CH untech time being much shorter.
  21. For future reference, if you need to ask about character specific we have character specific forums you can use. They come in handy.
  22. 222C is her vanilla 2C from what the mook said. If that's true there's a reason you have never seen it. I just want to know how double boost/hover cancel works on block. Stuff like [6] j.B > hover/boost cancel, does that exist?
  23. If we're going to refer to something, we're going to refer to it correctly from the information we have. I don't want a bunch of people saying "command grab super" and then later on people who think it's a command grab are disappointed or confused. Misinformation is bad. If it is changed later on down the road, we can say, "well, in previous builds it was an unblockable which was altered later down the line." Long story short I don't want things being referred to as something they're not.
  24. Somebody from the build tell me if they used it. From all the footage I've seen, it's an unblockable. I've never seen it be a grab, and you can't combo into command grabs unless the opponent is in a specific state. Pretty much everybody corrected the Atlus guy and UC when it was revealed. If you see something that acts like an unblockable, has exclamations of an unblockable, and can be comboed into without putting the opponent in spin state, it's probably not a command grab.
  25. Please stop calling Rise's super a command grab. You can clearly see it's an unblockable.
