Welp, RIP. Not that I would play with English voice anyway, but who knows, maybe Azrael sounding like Richard Nixon will be really funny.
-
As a joke, I thought that the three initial new characters, Amane, Azrael, and Bullet, should be voiced by Billy West, John DiMaggio, and Katey Sagal respectively. As a serious wish, I think Kevin Michael Richardson would make a great Azrael. For some reason whenever I think of Azrael speaking English, I think he'd sound like Sarevok from the Baldur's Gate series.

I think Guilty Gear and Hellsing are the only two works that include both Wakamoto and Jouji (and as major characters, nonetheless).

[CP] Azrael - Gameplay Discussion (Pre-Console Release)

Eh, I guess that's fine. I mean, given that we already had a video with crazy combo madness (and likely more to come) and considering how heavily prorated 5A>5B>5BB loops would be anyway, it's not much of a loss. I'm a little more sad that the move probably can't be used for sweet SMP resets like 2C or Hornet since it grounds on air hit. Makes for a good ender I guess? It's got less recovery than his D moves... -

Hentai Ouji was pretty bad as a whole, though the fanservice was top-tier. Yahari was actually decent as a whole though, it just feels incomplete without a second season. You fucking take that back about the ending though. We got fat jokes, homolust, Saber, and even a fucking idol (even if it is Yukiho). I was pretty pleased. -

You probably watched the exact wrong shows, because the endings to Yahari and Hentai Ouji were both fantastic. -

Mitsurugi isn't a shit, he just doesn't have as much tensai capacity as Noze does. Sadly, Noze can be too crazy for his own body to handle sometimes. That, and Noze has some just unprecedented reads. He bullies and teases at just the right spacing with just the right choice of movement. -

So yeah the quote is "その身を持って教えてやろ。。。最強の暴力を!" which is (literally) "I'll show you what this body carries: the strongest violence!" After watching Senchou be his usual self and troll with neutral guard point, I kind of realized that, as long as you're in range and have the corresponding weakpoint, just due to the auto-seeking and huge hitstun of either hornet or valiant you get a guaranteed huge combo (unless they have burst of course, which Suuya did). I mean, of course just doing guard-point in neutral is ill-advised just because of how insanely punishable both moves are not to mention you are stuck there so they can just double jump or throw depending on what they activate the guardpoint with or how close they are. Concerning gatlings, that's all just dependent on frame data, which makes me wonder if the start-up of either valiant or hornet have two parts (pre- and post-charge?). Speculation aside, I think it'd be semi-useful to learn optimal combos off hitting either of those moves raw. -

You mean stuff like that is a lot stronger in Guilty Gear where it's actually possible to throw people. -

Yeah that looks like the correct way of doing whatever the fuck Maou was trying to do vs. Yumura in that one GC set. -

I experimented with j.4D in training mode a little bit back when EX first came out. I think if you can get away with it doing it early in a pressure string, you should probably do it as it leads to 5-way mix-up (D follow-up for front, C follow-up for behind, air or ground depending on when you cancel, and by the time you land you should be able to throw/command throw). -

I can tell you how to get this game in 3 simple steps >Go to ASW offices in Japan >Sam Fisher your way to whatever computer has the latest console version of BBCP running >download the iso and bring it back to North America pretty please So yeah, no, there's no way to get this game as of right now (you can pre-order your import copy though). Japanese version comes out on October 23rd this year while the U.S. release is sometime in 2014. In other news, a 40-minute long Dogura vs N-O set just got uploaded go go go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQNlltXEj9k -

Well, thank you, Senchou, for giving us a nice CH link to learn (cobra xx 3C). Also, from watching that video I also noticed that Hazure Metal got [http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=6U8KIBdbV8w#t=1228s]caught walking backwards in anticipation of an overhead (though, to be fair, he was probably blocking in the first place just because of fear of wake-up GURAURA). Maybe it's another advantage to upper weakpoint? That, on top of the conditioning and sheer combo reward... plus they're overheads. -

Don't forget that the love phantom video has part of the footage set on loop, but yeah, even just the whole valiant > dash 5A troll combo was enough to make me realize the whole "you can only do 5 follow-ups" bit was a farce. -

It may be starter dependent, it may be character dependent but still: It may be indirect, it may be my old account, nevertheless, fucking called it. In regards to the video, it answered pretty much every question I had and more. OD valiant into j.D combo routes, lower weakpoint OD combo routes, SMP resets, extended valiant wallstick combos, and of course MAXIMUM DUMPING. -

It's not wave-dashing (even if it does kind of look like it), but okay. Knowing how to do dash normals is really important to this game and other Arcsys fighters. Also, the [something > ressenga] gap is punishable no matter what, even if it's 5C > ressenga. If you're getting hit out of it, either your opponent is not respecting your pressure/mix-up or your pressure strings into it could be easily readable. Try and mix it up a little bit. You'd be surprised at how easily something like [2A > 214D~A] x2 can force your opponent to be on their toes. As far as chain movement goes, just try doing D follow-up immediately, at full extension, and then somewhere in between. Do this for j.6D, j.4D, 5D and j.D. Also remember to do B-follow-up sometimes to either mix-up your approach, evade/escape, or just annoy your opponent. C follow-up is really good, just use it sparingly lest you get counter-hit. This last bit is just my opinion: get good at doing j.4D asap after a jump. Doing any jump-cancellable move into j.4D~(not A) opens up a world of mix-up. -

You shouldn't have to "dash install" unless you're playing on a really laggy set-up. Are talking about doing dash 5C/6C? Generally you can differ 5C and 6C by holding back whenever you do dashing 5C. As for the timing, it's just something you have to commit to muscle-memory. It all depends on what you're trying to link from (236D, 623D, j.214B, 6C, etc). For practice, just do midscreen zaneiga (scoop) combo to practice dashing 5C and any decent normal into 3C > 236D into dash (optional 5C(1)) 6C. -

*People being butthurt about Hazama general not being a place to circle-jerk terumi hype and post stupid bullshit* Calm down, we already knew that the thread was over whenever our god Hail posted his first post. >Say 'normal command grab' >Actually talking about super command grab >greentexting even though Kurushii specifically mentioned not to be like a 4chan discussion Yeah, there's two main things contributing to insane meter gain there: low health and overdrive (CHAAAAAINS). Without that, it's nigh impossible to get your meter back after houtenjin in CP. -

Quick correction: that Bullet player that is listed as Tsujikawa is actually 0 (yes, the same one who plays Order-Sol).
