Yeah the guidebook is supposed to be sold as part of the collector's edition, and sold standalone as well. Like it's definitely better than your average Gamespot guide or whatever, though I'm not sure the guide in and of itself is immediately more approachable / usable for the average casual, especially if only hardcore players are going to be buying collectors' edition / supplemental material. Like you said the strategy boils down to SPAM HADOKEN but you have to scroll down six pages past frame data, complicated crossup setups and weird mixups to read it. I'd figure the first thing they should tell people is "here's a good assist, mash it constantly, oh and do 236P a lot too" before moving on to the complicated stuff. Which they kind of do, but it's kind of buried beneath a ton of other stuff and LOL SUPERHERO POWER LEVELS (which is fine i guess but it seems to confuse funny fanservice stuff with actual gameplay mechanics / strengths) speaking of which someone pointed Wolverine has an intelligence level of 2. I guess healing factor doesn't work on brain cells.

You do realize Yuan didn't write that right? Stop being so self-absorbed for a second. There's a good reason people may find it annoying to hear you talk AT them rather than WITH them. This may be the Internet but there are still real life conventions and rules of engagement when it comes to conversation. Lay off the leaks a little, and reflect on that.

the rule of thumb for the average person is to just never teach anything below 3rd or 4th year, where only the people who actually care remain. Having a fairly unique specialization helps in this regard. It's the rare person who can be a university 1st year instructor. In a lot of cases it's probably worse than elementary school since you are teaching a bunch of self-described unique snowflakes with an enormous sense of entitlement to, well, everything. I was lucky in that i got to teach the older students coming back for a 2nd degree in my TAships; they actually cared about the course material and i could actually also talk to them as peers since they had the maturity the 1st years didn't.

i think people are saying Storm is top tier again, at least. Which could be kind of annoying since it's not really clear who would counter her. But i guess it's kind of a tricky balancing situation, if Mags and Sent are tops again it'd be the same game all over again, and if theyre not, well who's really fast enough to catch up with storm / has enough tools to deal with her BS? she seems to have EVERYTHING still. I will say though, Sent looks like he has a million health. Ryu did super FB and it did maybe like, 10% of his life in one video. WTF?
