  2. Does that mean they want Type-Moon to make more material for Tsukihime first before making a new MB game? Interesting, although that will certainly take a while. IIRC, there was supposed to be a remake of Tsukihime and maybe even a sequel in the far future? Could be wrong though. Anyway I don't want to participate in deriving thread any further.

  11. If only I had the time though, being a college student really doesn't allow you to have much time for video games anymore. I guess I'll just stick to what I do best, sticking to fundamentals, playing to my character's strengths but be derp and braindead when under pressure/defense.

  13. KANAN, you should definitely make it to San Diego Saltimes every Monday night from 6 to 10 pm at Pangea Bakery if you have time. A few people who play P4A also go there and other people also play AE, Marvel, etc. if you're up for it.
  14. I've heard of it a while back, just never given it some thought and I certainly didn't know that they've gotten a good amount of people showing up. I'll definitely try to go there next Saturday. I wonder if Spidey and his friends have been there.
  15. Played GG for a few with my friend on his 360 and wow, I feel really rusty. Looks like I'm sticking with Ky and Sol for now. And I can't go tomorrow either unfortunately.

  17. Something I've been noticing by watching Xie play. I don't see him do j.B > j.C that much and he goes into j.B > slight delay > 5A instead. Is it because j.B > 5A is more consistent than j.B > j.C? Sure seems to be that way, especially if you did a while bunch of stuff before the j.B.
  18. Why use Megido outside of combos? I've seen a few Japanese Aigis players use it as some sort of pseudo anti-air against approaches from the air?
  19. I think my Naoto has hit a plateau. I feel like she's not improving no matter how many times I get bodied.
  20. Thanks for that, in that case, my stick layout will look like this then. Light Medium Heavy X Style GHA But then again, based on what I've just learned about the controls, looks like it'll be easier to play this game on pad as it was seemingly intended from the start that it wasn't going to be that serious of a fighter.

  22. -5A/2A/5A, 5AA staggers and what not. -End your initial blockstrings with sweep in order to condition them. -Grab and use AoAs. No seriously, mix in a few grabs and overheads if you want opponents to respect Naoto since her pressure is rather one dimensional compared to others. -Performing 5C before 5B to mess with your opponent's rhythm. -Running up to my opponent after a few 5A/2As to make it look like I'm about to grab them and then backdash away to mess with them. -Mix in a few 2[C]s if they're being REALLY respectful for some odd reason since it's +8 on block. This is just what I do. I'm sure there's some really good tricks out there that I haven't mentioned.
  23. I'm not talking about connecting 2[C] after bouncing the opponent up from a D trap, I'm talking about connecting 2[C] after the opponent gets hit with Mudoon.
  24. So where's the video? Anyway I still can't connect 2[C] after Mudoon. I tried doing 214B~D like someone previously suggested to alleviate the timing issue of it but still no good.
