  1. Can Naoto have any air superiority against Labrys at all? That j.B is too good, so I don't even bother jumping in unless I have my opponent scared after punishing a few mistakes that they've made. But of course, watch out for the 2B.
  2. Alternating between Aim, placing traps and well timed and placed 5C, 2C and [2C] pokes at mid-range should calm them down a bit. It sounds like you're simply relying on staying back and shooting while occasionally laying a trap or two to win, which is what I originally was trying to do.
  3. There's no Labrys figure unfortunately. Anyway I just sent an e-mail to Rising Sun, we'll see where it goes from there. And Donnie, this is your video right here, go watch it.
  4. Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but is there some way we can know how much PSR we'll win or lose depending on our opponent's rank? I want my Naoto to have 666 PSR.
  5. Actually there was, Roa played a pretty legit Labrys which also gave me a better understanding how to beat her, which is basically play gay with Naoto's long range game and play footsies with her midrange pokes such as 5C and 2C if I'm feeling bold while staying away from the air most of the time in order to avoid that bullshit j.B of hers lol, then confirm a combo into IK if she has 0 Fate Counters and I have match point. And glod, there was a Kanji figure for sale too. Tell you what guys, I'll ask Rising Sun Creations in SD to see if they can stock up on Persona 4 One Coin Grande boxes, buy a box or two and sell you guys what figures you want.
  6. Just made it back home safely about 20 minutes ago. GGs everybody, it was nice finally getting some offline experience after playing a bunch of online matches. Sure playing online with people close to you helps, but offline will always be superior, as you can finally block everything you react to. Shoutouts to Roa hosting and the pizza. Shoutouts to meeting Donnie and that guy who plays Liz and Kanji who also gave me this. (Who was he again?) Shoutouts to watching Olympics with Roa's family for a bit. Shoutouts to being able to play "honestly." And shoutouts to jinxing Roa while he was playing P3FES and I said that Magaru will miss one enemy... and it did. #scumbagichi Anyway can't wait to go to another offline session if I have time, it actually prompted me to play more solid. Oh and just out of curiosity, to the guys who were there, what figures did you guys get?
  7. Thanks Watermelonz. Oh and do you, Darwin and Andrew need rides too? EDIT: Holy shit that's far.
  8. So did Roa PM any of you guys his address? He still hasn't responded me yet.
  9. I got Skype, made one for real life friends and one animu. My name is lchipoo (with an L).
  10. Lmao, sorry for "ragequitting" my dad needed me to help change the oil on our cars. /convenientexcuse
  11. Might as well change that 6-2 record I have right now to 6-No amount of wins you'll earn will redeem what just happened to you.
  12. Goddamn it, I hate good Yus so much. One touch = death.
  13. But I need that offline experience with your swag Labrys! Oh and is it okay if I give Roa's address to someone on the Mayonaka Midnight forums, he's from San Diego and he's been meaning to go too.
  14. I'm at 200 PSR right now, how long will it take me to obtain around 700 PSR swag with Naoto right now? And is it just me, or is PSN being ass right now? Decided to check out how good wired matches are after getting satisfactory results with wireless but there was even more lag with wired matches, me and my friends couldn't even connect to each others' rooms.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MicAFUXhAc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tD5SYsKVxhU Footage of OmnisScythe Naoto, take note of how he pressures the opponent as well as how fast he IADs after a 5C, it's like you practically don't see Naoto jump at all.
  16. What Cake said. I'm gonna be frank right now, Naoto's advanced technical BnBs involving IADing twice are probably equivalent to a very simple Yu combo in terms of damage and advantageous situation with the latter probably being easier to perform. Also, tried pulling off Naoto's Oki with traps and 99% of the time, it fails. It's like people simply say "fuck your Oki" and they magically disarm the trap magically by mashing buttons. And on that note, I feel that nobody has respect for Naoto... at all, no matter how many times they screw up, and I'm forced to shoot bullets, lay traps, 5D~D all day in order to avoid risking getting hit once because we all know that Naoto's F-Action is gimmicky, which to be honest, isn't really that fun.
  17. GGs to glod and his Kanji. Jesus Christ that air grab thing is gonna give me nightmares. Like it's so freaking obvious, I feel that everytime I fall for it, an angel dies. And shoutouts to no respect for Naoto's pressure at all.
  18. At first I was pissed since all my methods weren't working, but now I'm over it, but the thing with Naoto is that I have to extra careful with her because one knockdown means playing a retarded guessing game and Naoto doesn't have a way to deal with Oki other than her gimmicky F-Action and SB Aim. So for now, it's just religiously laying strategically placed traps. And about Liz's F-Action, if I guess correctly, I just jump and place a D trap and convert into a 3K combo.
  19. -A wary Yukiko can AA you if you're being reckless with j.C when trying to rush her. -Midscreen fans are punishable with Aim when used at the right time and obviously Raid. -Her Auto Combo has some decent normals to them so be careful of that as well and don't press too many buttons. -Once you see her healing, don't bother shooting bullets.
  20. Lmao, I earned 200 PSR just today with a 75% win rate, but I'm sure some of you guys did better. I think you were to Yukiko I faced, good shit.
  21. There were times when I tried to combo into Naoto's Awakening Super only to forget that I wasn't Awakened yet. /derp
  22. Sometime tonight then? Gonna head to the mall to meet people and eat. GGs too, at least you're Yukiko was more varied than the ones on Ranked. And perhaps you should Quick Escape more? I noticed you were getting hit by the traps in the corner numerous times and QEs disarms traps as well, but if you use it too much, I'll be expecting it and will grab you. Also Roa, have you PM'd us your address yet?
  23. Lmao this shit kills Kanji. Anyway I'm liking this, it's a great midscreen to corner combo, although the extra 25 SP makes me go "eeh" a bit, it's still worth knowing how to perform. Also it might be best to delay the activation of Mudoon just a tiny bit so that the super will wallstick the opponent higher. Sure you can do it even if the opponent is wallstuck super low, but I'm just throwing that out there. And you need to perform 2A when the opponent is as low to the ground as possible, if not, then the 236A~D will whiff. I recall Ginseng saying that 236A~D whiffs for him. :o Also let's start talking about corner Oki guys. So what trap is best on a waking opponent? C or D? I'm starting to learn towards C because my opponent can simply 2A it to disarm the D trap. And it goes without saying to watch out for Quick Escapes so be ready for that as well. But what about wakeup F-Actions such as Yu's and Mitsuru's? I'm guessing they'll simply go through the trap so I suppose it's best to keep your distance as they get up.
