Interesting bug I bumped into whilst playing against Hazama as Hakumen: I got hit by Mizuchi Rekkazan, but as hazama sent out the oroborus to suck me in it hit my projectile orb that I'd made beforehand, so the snakechain just kept going with Hazama still frozen mid-move, whilst I was able to move again. Thing is, I then tried to attack him, little realising that he was completely invulnerable at this point and when I got close enough to him his autocombo triggered and I got the full force of it. Funny all the same.
  2. Surprised no-one has mentioned Calamity Sword as a wakeup move yet. Do people only save it for when you can RC the fatal counter?

  5. But that would make her untouchable given how invulnerable she is when using that move.
  6. Well put it this way, either tsubaki's DP beats it out and you get a small/okayish bit of damage or 6A hits you and you get bounced around like a basketball at the NBA finals. It's a pity her sweep attack doesn't seem to go underneath it either.
  7. It was the first BnB to be discovered because the first part of it, up to and including the j.Cs can be done on easy mode by mashing one button only.
  8. Knights are OP jumping over pieces and forking is just BS. Buff the Queen so she can move like that instead. The rage and whining always existed, there just didn't exist public worldwide forums to vent it on.
  9. Plenty of tricks to be done with the act parser zwei. You have there a feint/low/heavy mixup there. So long as you aren't doing it from neutral (you'll just get thrown/stuffed) you can play some interesting mix ups, particularly if you're willing to spend 50% heat on an RC: 236B RC 2147D for a low high switch 236C RC 44 ... (Counter what the enemy does on their frame advantage) 236A B+C, seen this feint used at high level a bit. The guy using it waited until he had his opponent feeling the pressure before trying it though.
  10. Quick word on being finger'd by Tager: What can Tager do against a quick TK'd Tsubaki or Hotaru after he's done that? They seem to be the most reliable ways out of that painful situation due to Hakumen's terrible backdash.

  12. Isn't that the same thing? If they were better than bad idea, then they'd be good ideas, if they were good ideas they wouldn't be gimmicky.
  13. Might be because the hitbox extends outwards and hits nivana before it has time to reach all of the way to carl. I'm assuming that's how it works.
  14. 2147D on people blocking a 236D when they can't remember that it's not a low hit anymore.
  15. Gimmicks..... Use 4D as an overhead and then follow in with 236B. That's AI grade tactics right there.
  16. I find it amazing that Tager can fly so high from such a weedy looking person. Yeah, neutral sledges against Hazama aren't the cleverest idea ever, a 214D~B works when there isn't heat to go around and that's some good damage right there.
  17. That being the case, then you get: 63C214 63214 D, which shouldn't work because there needs to be a 3 at the end of it. I have problems with the motion myself for when I'm dicking around trying to use it, I can't imagine myself using it at all seriously on demand. Let slip something there you perhaps shouldn't have said.

  19. To ask another daft question, how does Rachel go about punishing 236Bs if I use them to blow through her projectile spam, and also, can I cheese a hit through a tempest dahlia with it (say if it was the last bit of damage I needed)?
  20. Seems to me most of the battle is in the minds of the players. I've found most of my trouble comes with my opponent learning my habits and me paying for it with psychic colliders and 360s. At least Tsubaki has some of the better options regarding being Fingered. Is the general consenus not to bother with using heat for anything other than RCs and the odd CA?
  21. Yeah, I was under the impression that act parser cavaliers from neutral situations was lambda handing you a free combo/zanshen/throw.
  22. Holding D and pelting him with that air projectile? I've found even having a lot of stocked charge to be questionably effective since you still need to get at him to inflict the damage.

I'll start this one off actually, because as I see it, this is a clash of two characters who love being in the enemy's face, Only Tager does way more damage there, compensated by the fact he's immobile. How on earth do you get in on Tager? As far as I can see, there's nothing stopping him just standing there and waiting for you to come to him and pummeling you for the slightest error.
  24. Without trying to exaggerate too much, has Rachel even got any moves that Tager even cares about anymore?
  25. Tager's much better for the stick, especially if you liked to use the Dpad rather than the thumbstick due to those 360 motions.
