BattleGrounds CT present Fight Club every Friday! YouTube page is up!
Nuclear Cheese replied to Vigilante's topic in Archive
GG's to all from last night. Great time. Guilty was mad close; down to the wire every time I fought blue9 and mindgame. Also glad to see people stepping their shit up in Melty. PS - ph33r, you should learn to play Sol like I play Sol. If nothing else, just to spite Tales (PPS - I'm an asshole. What else is new?) -

I PM'd you, but I'll post it here too so you're more likely to see it. I can drive you like last week. Gimme a call on my cellphone. Drat. The poverty money match (is that an oxymoron?) will have to wait until next week, then. -

GG's to all. Kayin - once again, great to have you back! It's too bad they kicked us out before we could get the MB and GG tournaments going, but oh well ... -

I said yesterday I'd be there, but I'm gonna have to take that back. I just got home (for reference - it is now 7:30am), and the drive has completely worn me out. Cue spending the day sleeping. -

Clannad characters don't make any appearance in EFZ (for some reason). From Kanon, though ... Ayu, Mai, Mishio, Nayuki, Akiko, Makoto, Shiori, at least one character I forget the name of and probably at least one or two more I'm forgetting entirely. Air, another of Key's VNs, also has characters in EFZ, but the only ones I know specifically are loli-Testament and Kanna. Also, forgot to mention last post, won't be arriving until 9-ish since I have to work and shit. -

Clannad is one of Key's visual novels. To note, Key's stuff tends to make even the manliest of men break down in tears (see also - Kanon). I'm sure they're referring to the anime adaptation, which I haven't seen because I'm still part way through the original visual novel. PS - I'm a fucking nerd and a loser. Who would've guessed. I'll be there this weekend again, and I'll be bringing our friend Tales here along. I'll probably bring along Senko no Ronde again, and I'm thinking I might also pull along the Inuyasha fighting game (because why the hell not, right? It's a fun distraction). -

I apologize for going through Heat Knuckle by air recovering. And I also apologize for beating out Heavenly Potemkin Buster with Riot Stomp. -

GGs to all once again. This guy plays a mean W.Len, and showed me that my stuff's been getting really rusty since there's been basically no Melty scene in New England for the past year and a half. It was unfortunate. We need GG rep, people! (MindGame and I held the "tournament" anyways. I won. ) -

I think it's actually a ferret, but Failing all else, there is netplay. You did know about the netplay, right? I'm game for playing sometime (although I'm not sure how well netplay would work ... live play is of course always preferred). I will make you fear cleaning, laundry, and breakfast. -

Oh dammit, you're bringing Melty? Now I really should head down there after work. Hopefully I won't be too fried when I get out at 5pm ... quick eats then a 2 hour drive? Arrive at 8-ish? I might just make it! we'll see ... -

Oooh he's picking up Melty as well. Now you can face off against my Aoko, with her legendary JESUS BEAM. Also, forgot to mention before - SRK wiki pins UNKNOWN's barrel super as a 50/50 chance of scoring damage (lvl 1, at least). You got completely shafted on the luck scale with your ten-or-so failed barrels. -

I have no idea how to play UNKNOWN. SRK wiki might help you out, though - http://www.shoryuken.com/wiki/index.php/UNKNOWN_%28EFZ%29 Nazgul started using the magic girl, and she has this one air normal that totally smacks laundry into next week as long as you're not too far below. It's just a matter of finding ways to deal with it, really. Much like you need to find ways to deal with my Sol shenanigans (as Nine and Nazgul will both tell you repeatedly - 6P ). -

Hey, just wanted to say thanks to BlueNINE for hosting casuals yesterday (and letting me & Nazgul crash there rather than tripping back to NH for the night). Great times! GG's to everyone as usual. EFZ was pretty hype - we should get some shit going with that game more often. People need to learn that laundry is not an unstoppable force. -

Had a great time on Friday. GG's to all I played. Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to make it to this every week. I work every other Friday (this past Friday was a non-working day), and I might not be up for the trip afterwards. But I'll certainly try to make it down there in the future! Hi. :bad: -

Nuclear Cheese replied to Gonzales's topic in Archive
Great times, people! Marlin - Some good matches vs you for a change (as opposed to my usual fucking up every half second ). That Sol mirror was epic shit! Nazgul - Thanks for sticking with in the search for a place to eat at 1am. Also - I'll be taking my money back next time we play Melty. BlueNine - Good matches. Tales - We'll carve you into a good player yet! Keep practicing. -

Generally this'll be a setting somewhere in your TV's menu. Mine has it under "Picture". It'll say "Aspect Ratio" or something similar. The option you want will say "4:3" or something about standard (not widescreen) TV. -

TG - tension gain. The amount of tension the move earns you, before scaling (eg: you earn less if you just RC'd a move) If I'm not mistaken, its listed in the frame data as percentage of a full tension guage; for example May's 5P gains 1.44% of a full tension guage normally. SD - "Standard Difference". This is the number of frames that the attack recovery ends before an opponent who guarded normally (standing) recovers. For example, May's 5P has SD of zero. That means, if you don't cancel the attack into something else and the opponent guards it standing, you both will be able to act at the same frame. --> Negative SD means the opponent will be able to act before your attack's recovery finishes. Proration: Proration scales the combo damage of all the hits after it. There are two types: regular proration, such as May's 5P ("80% Proration") only applies if it is the first move to hit in the combo. All of the rest of the combo will be scaled back by that amount (so a combo starting with 5P will only do 80% damage for the rest of the hits, before other scaling). forced proration is similar, except that it will apply even if the move isn't the first hit in a combo. It looks like May doesn't have any forced proration moves, though ... -

You need to download version 1.12 (the first one), and extract that. That has the latest ggxxnet_patcher executable. Use that to patch your GGXX.exe file, then replace the .dll with the one in the 1.12.3 download. version 1.12.3 is just a small revision over 1.12, and they only included the .dll file rather than including the entire package. -

You can only edit colors using the GGXX.NET online multiplayer patch for PC GGXX #R. Check the online play sub-forum for instructions to install it. Once that's installed, just open up the ggxxnet_config program and you can edit colors on the right side of the window. -

I'm not too great at translating, but I'll take a stab at it: version 1.12: - Something about a problem with GG mode. - A problem with pixel shaders being used (I think saying it was fixed) - If a ? rank comes up for you, it will force-reset your statistics. - Some fix about when the player returns to the lobby from a game. - The ini file's format is documented in the readme. - You can drag-and-drop palette files onto the confiruation program. - If you've blocked another player, when you sort the player list they will be moved to the bottom of the list. version 1.12-2: - Fixed errors regarding the ping value getting 'rediculous' and problems with 'NoRes'. ... sorry its only a rough translation, but I think I got the general idea of it across.
