Provided you go for oki midscreeb rather than corner carry+damage. Honestly any circumstance I have to use 50 heat for, I feel like I should at least get 3.8k damage out of without ignis. I wonder though if the way it works if they can't tech until they hit the ground for the 2nd time since they won't be so high in the air.

Its kinda sad, I think Relius is too big to take advantage of low profiling her DP here. It starts quite a bit off the ground, but if you're too close I think it easily hits Relius. Pressure, yeah its there. I'm bad at blocking, but she has an easy to see and react to overhead. If they manage to land a 3C on you mid pressure, this is essentially giving them a free pressure reset. They 3C, you 2A. A lot of her asteroid vision mixup can be beat by mashing or a well placed AA if you guess right, but she gets good reward off of landing a hit (most of the time). At worst I'd say even. You land a hit, you get oki, she has to respect it. I think this matchup only seems difficult cuz there isnt alot of makoto players (where you at LoyalSunset Dx)

It doesnt necessarily have to be knowledgeable peope as much as they need to actually address problems with things people think there are problems with. Its not like the people making the game play at a competetive level, so they just need to listen and not respond like: "X character has a bad neutral game." "Ok, lets give them some proration buffs".

Probably, but at least it'd be relevant to our character (not alpt of players to complain anyway lol), not running around and seeing odd things like "Well half the rest od the cast can get 7-8k OD combos on average, why can't we?" I'd like to know just how many characters get that kinda damage that either don't have an FC or best starter move, cuz I know Relius can only get up to 6.9k from a difficult 5B confirm. I just want it to be relevant @.@

I'll say it straight up. Tsubaki needs buffs, and I hate foghting tsubaki cuz I have no idea how to play the matchup lol.

I only said it that way because some people said if timed correctly, some moves could safejump mu-12s dp. Don't know who, dont know what move, so I just stuck with the posibility that maybe its possible lol

Mu 12 can essentially be safe-jumped reliably now, not a "scrub got lucky" moment

I'll admit to one thing about the makoto/tsubaki/failtiercharacters, and that is the fact that it seems like Ark is tryin to completely ruin the character. Do the people workin on this game even look at competetive gameplay and think "this character that slaps people with aloe vera for blockstrings is too op, this 4 frame gap between every attack is too tight". Just do what taking our money says you'll do when it comes to balance Dx. This way when I lose to low tier characters I wont feel embarrassed

Will that mean Relius will actually get a 13 frame backdash? There's been a lot of speculation about the damn things duration since before CP came to consoles.

Jin didn't really get nerfed though. They made one character specific (I think?) combo path a bit more difficult, and everything else was just an "its there" kinda thing.

So you're using bullet, a character that has a tough time against many cast members, as a basis for nerfing Azrael?

Funny cuz this whole Az arguement could just turn to "tell them to make your character better" ... unless you're like S tier already. Jeez they need to buff the low tiers.

You know I'd agree with every single thing you people bitchin about Az are talkin about... except all of them. Seriously, the more I hear, the more it sounds like "I dont wanna learn to fight this character who's only midrange option is mostly a neutral reset". Positive on severa moves, 80% of which have ass range. Yeah he's gonna have good normals of you judt let him gustav your face all day.

Will being dash cancellable make it easier to get a full OD duration combo? Cuz outside of that I cant see the DC doing much.

I'm not a pro, but playing az's my level leads me to believe nothing calls for an Az nerf. Now that his DP got fixed, I feel like he'll be like he should've been from the beginning. He wasn't overwhelming, but he was still good. I'm actually surprised to hear more people bring up Az as compared to Jin and Tao.

Crossups are gonna possibly reward us with 4k midscreen combos (most ones I've done give 3.6k so its not a huge stretch). Using gad leis I feel will be a bit easier on the timing since it sounds like the hits will link better. It also makes sure that they don't bounce over you in the corner at the least. Lafino is a rewarding AA bait now supposedly, and when combined with OD Lafino can really give us a great way of getting in. Last one is really negligible, but its there. I guess the timer won't run as long, so you can maaaaybe do a slightly better combo after.

I'm happy (duo bios hitstop nerf means nothing lol).
