That's exactly why I do the backdash honestly, drain all the graviton. I only back IAD if they use the fireball, since the travel time gives you enough time to recover and plan the next way to gey around it. I've had people waste 3/4 of thr graviton bar doin that lol. People who don't rely on fireball scare me more than that.

Don't question my methods, I go with what works xP. If makin people drain graviton by IADing all over it followed by 214A/214C works, then yeah, Ima abuse that xD. Even her fireball>teleport mixup wiffs when I do the simple reverse IAD. But its what works for me, and its not like all Relius players are the same, so I'll stop here. Aaaaanyway, I might get on in a bit, but I somehow managed to get some stupid throat thing -_- throat is soooo dry

I dunno bout in her favor. I'd say its even, maybe 4.5/5.5 her at the most, but its not exceptionally bad from my experience. I honestly don't respect fireball at all so maybe that's why I feel that way xD I also havnt gone against many Koko's though, so maybe it's all just lack of experience.

I havnt had a more difficult time vs Koko than I've had vs other*characters. Air fireball into graviton is annoying, but usually 214A after IAD backwards will catch her if she tries to move the bit.

I havnt gone against any of our other Carl's since Psykotic like day 2 of launch, and X40 catches me with every crossup he knows. I get him back occasionally by taking advantage of his autopiloting UBs into CT by twirling the UB, but its not reliable once he catches on xD

So many 6C's @.@ ggs sinder, usually X40's the only Carl I get to play, and he just Terumi stomp supers me (figuratively) almost every time.

So that 6.9k OD combo doesn't work on low sliders in the corner -cry-. Damn 214B wiffs, still can get 6.5k+. Though I guess I should stop working on combos and fix my neutral/mixup game. Damn lauger autopiloting. Also, anyone ever use crossup delayed backdash into j.B? Looks so damn weird, but its really useful when people expect an empty jump into a low. So after testing it out, is 3C our new punish starter? On CH you can do the jump cancel OD into mid/fullscreen carry and up to 5200 damage, use CT to go into midscreen combo for 4k, or standard combo path for about 3.2k

Hmm... I imagine its a 2C hitbox issue, possibly 6C. Did you do neutral or forward jump j.B?

Sounds helpful in the corner more than midscreen honestly since ots easy to confirm 5B>6B there. I use that for tk lauger stuff, nice find though.

Man, you should've been on earlier for Carl exp. Me and X40 just kept goin back and forth because everyone else left xD there was a Haz/Jin and an Azrael too. Aaaaanyway, I'm like dead now. Just put all my concentration into pullin off a 7k OD combo with Rel. Its really difficult you know xP

I do need to learn to block... if only led ley wasn't so tempting. Seriously, that and gear super are bad defense options but I spam them way too much.

I know I know, it sounds weird. But after baiting enough growlers and gettin a CH 5B at the start of the round cuz they use 5/6C, it gets somewhat easy to recognize. I guess i should've said poke though, I'm not dumb enough to mash during his pressure up close xD I am still awake btw, but I dunno if I'd give you a good workout.

I don't like Relius' overhead. Its slow, obvious, and unsafe, plus eventually I got a hit. Generally if I can land a hit, so if I know its possible I try to avoid using his 6A. Vs you was the first time I've managed to apply that really weird lookin reverse air dash j.B crossup xD. Relius has lots of weird crossups, so until they're all blocked I dont use thr overhead. Especially on dp characters.

I know I know... through out all those matches with your Tsubaki I was constantly sayin to myself "don't do the twirl, don't so it dumbass, you'll eat a wiff cancel punish, oh great, you twirled" xD; its mostly crossups that I can never get use to. Also, a lot of times I was goin for j.2D>j.B and kept super jumping all the way to the other side. Man, maybe I was jist gettin tired.

xD I'm Relius, I don't like blocking (plus I'm not good at it). I actually tried applying IB but that just made me sad when I got hit by 5A's -cry-

Dp wiffing doesn't necessarily be out of range. It can also mean backdash through its actives, or even bait it with OD in BB and go for a nice unburstable combo of your choice. I play Relius who has a lot of means to bait dps (though I failed plenty against Tsubaki's damn wiff canceling), so maybe it just feels easier to me. Also, there are a few dp's that aren't really punishable in certain situations. Since I've only thoroughly played BB, I'm gonna use it for references. A lot of people talk about Izayoi's DD reversal bein safe on hit even though its minus on block, but it pushes people out so far on block that it can't really be punished except by a really fast, long ranged move. Making it wiff is just about as dangerous if she's in her GA mode, cuz then she can wiff cancel it to teleport right behind you. Basically, all dp's are different. You're gonna have to find ways to punish em individually. What works againsy A won't work against B (typically autoguards work this way)

Gettin bitched out because.of how late it is on a holiday -sigh- Also, system mechanics don't work >.> CA's are just stupid. "Hey, for a chance to not block more shit, stop blocking :D" always makes me do the twirl when I'm mashing 6AB. Also backdash just loves to do... nothing. Maybe I'm just not doin it right but I was hopin for at least one to come out x.x Aaaaaanyway, despite my bad playing, ggs badlime xD
