So if you do post-mortem glitch with 22a (IE, opponent kills azhi as you do 22a) azhi wont die even after he finishes the post-mortem bite (although it seems like you can't give him orders while he's underground) unless the bite hits. There's a flash where you see azhi go under ground, but it's pretty quick and depending on your color might not even really look like azhi, also if your opponent hit azhi they're probably not watching chaos anyway. This is a pretty sick gimmick, since if they hit azhi and try to run in you'll have a lizard shield and they most likely wont realize that azhi isn't dead. But most importantly it looks super cool. (oh hey it looks like this happened to rikir online)
  4. There was a tournament with 2 whole chaos players in it! Crazy right, last time that happened was like, evo I guess? (I don't speak japanese, so right now player names are just guesses/players with really simple names) edit: the rankings site is back up and these players still have these names, both seem to be references to manga.   5. Chaos CCVO/XVO combos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2l5m9enR4M It looks like you don't need to wait for 236c to end before doing IW now. It's probably still better to catch them with 2c for the extra damage though.

It looks like in vorpal azhi is smart enough to turn around so now azhi anti airs should be more consistent since you can do 236b > 623a and catch them if the 236b whiffed (236b may have also gotten a better hitbox so maybe that's not necessary, I don't remember), or maybe 236a>236b and 236a>623a will auto correct and catch anyone who jumps past 236a. Also that'll be pushing them towards chaos so you probably get to convert into something good easily. edit: in round 2 he anti-aired merkava fly with 623a>236b!
  7. During loctests someone mentioned that CH 66b had longer untech time, since 66b is untechable until you hit the ground I assumed it was a typo and normal hit 66b would be comboable as anti-air. That video confirms normal hit 66b is unchanged. I guess on CH 66b you now get even longer? Or maybe they reversed the change. Also the chaos player never even tried to attack through fireballs, so either azhi projectile invun is worse than it sounded or this player forgot about it. Also roll looks faster to me (less startup?) but IDK. Did anyone notice anything else?

  10. Here's that video about safejump/oki stuff also Pretty sure you're thinking of 66C. 6C>236A is dependent on Azhi's spacing and 6C>236A>5C is corner only I think. So like, I guess you could do that in the corner but the more common situation for a 6C hit in my experience is in neutral midscreen and often when Azhi is de-summoned. Also 6C>Roll>5C should never lose to mashing because it's a combo.

Expanding on this safe jump (2b>2c>5cc>j.b>j.c>j.2c>6d>j.b) if you go from 2b>5bb>air stuff instead of 2b>2c>5cc> air stuff you end up saving exactly 1 frame at the end and can beat 4f reversals (which is only vat's DPs I think, but still, vat safe jump) it still loses to 3f reversals (which is only elt ex DP I think? Those don't seem like they can ever be safe jumped via this set-up. Wald 360a also is 3f but it'll get hit on account of no invun)Also with the 5b in mind, you can do 2a>5bb>air stuff to get a safe jump vs 5f or worse off an a starter. Both these variations have the same properties as Rikir's original safe jump as far as I know. I didn't mess with them until now so maybe there's something I didn't test/didn't know that these don't do. Also if you missed these the first time around they're notable because they're meterless and midscreen. Chaos's other safejumps all either require the corner or 100 meter (not counting safe meaties or safe rolls obviously) I'll make a video on all the differences between chaos's safe jump routes soon to better explain the pros/cons of each route Also I missed this post until now, if anyone has trouble confirming 6C remember that 6C is only roll cancelable on hit, so if you always input 6C>BC you'll always have the time it takes to roll in order to confirm and hit them with 5C (the timing on that is pretty easy, you can pretty much just mash it). If they get hit anti-air they usually wall bounce too high to combo off, so if you're using 6C to anti-air probably don't roll unless you're doing it for positioning reasons or something.

  15. I don't think characters changed much between versions, so unless you need frame data for Chizuru, Sasara, or Oboro the old frames are probably still accurate.

  17. 22b has a set time (pretty sure it's the same as 22a but I've never tested) but azhi will pop out early if someone is near his shadow. 236 a/b/c and 623 a/b/c can be chained out of as per normal rules. If you want to move afterwords you can reverse beat into an a normal to recover faster (2a is faster, but 5a is still pretty good). So long as you haven't used the normal yet in your current string it should come out. Announcing the Link Card League A series of free single elim tournaments to be held at both ignite and GGA, points will be given out based on placement, at the end of the series (whenever that is) there'll be some kind of special exhibition (probably streamed at GGA after Xrd some day) with the players who have the most points. Games will be rotated, one tournament a night with Aquapazza and Chaos Code: New Sign of Catastrophe being for sure, and probably at least one more to be added. The tournaments will be run by Lloyd/bunnies from hell so if you have questions direct them to him via twitter or something. If you don't feel like doing that I can probably answer them here.

  24. I don't know what T6 is like, but UNiB has pretty good balance. There is probably some update in the works, since the composer is making new music but I wouldn't hold my breath. Also if you want to do a proper intro check the match finder for your closest local scene
