I tend to prepare for a dash back into you moment. Since in AC you can tech a burst hit much earlier than before and so alot of players get hit by gold when they are going offensive, so after being hit by a burst they most like will dash in as soon as they tech. Well thats just my personal experience. So I prepare a 6PP or whatevers depending on the height they are at aswell. Or 5Set razor. If you do get the knockdown from a gold burst then yeah run in set a yoyo bear mixup or Super.

Keep it simple is the way I like to play my Johnny. I prefer this over most combos.. corner whatever combo into qcf+k level 2 , dash f.HS , miststance jackhound , when they get mid waist of johnny s , hs , coin (This combo does alot of damage and gets you a coin / airthrow opportunity and its simple non fuckup combo) If they tech and you get the throw you can mist them and do whatever yummy damage you want. If you miss no big deal.. you should be pretty damn close to them to continue some sorta pressure.. especially against Bridget. now if you wanna be a little bitch... and go the extra risky mile for fun whatever blah level 2 k finer, coin instant air dash k, s , d enkasu 1 hit then set a mist. (tensionless 1 hit coin mist, but easier to fuck up) I think you can throw two coins in this combo and get the 1 hit if you want a level 3. or you can use mist stance jackhound to guarantee that knockdown instead of IAD for the 1 hit. I would use the tension for JH if you have though since this will pop them up higher and give you more time after laying the mist and is non fuckupable. I once killed someone in a match just doing that combo over and over. Corner wam coin iad 1 hit mist... repeat.

If you plan to win, I would stay away from Buri. I know some people like RUU are godly but in the end... if Ruu put that effort, time, and talent on someone like Eddie, he would win a lot more. But if you play for fun and like the way he plays than go for it. If you read a little back you would have read what his basic gameplay feel is. Basically zone for a bit, omg I got a chance to get in, random crap mixup, and reset.

Not a easy char to learn and use in AC. Being one of the worst chars... you gotta work pretty hard for your wins. The most common style of Bridget is keep away and zoning until you get an opportunity to go in. Do some mixup / pressure and once thats over with, you just go back to keep away / zoning. Before though..(XX and reload) Bridget could rush down and do some mean lockdowns. But since his damage and property of his moves are shit in AC its better to just zone till something happens.

Hey Jais could you delete all my post from this thread. I really didnt want it to turn out as you guys defending what you did and me trying to force what I think onto you guys. Obviously you guys played each other alot, and if Sly and you say thats the way you win against each other, then I think its unreasonable for me to try to tell you how you should of played according to my playbook. Heh I know he's different than those GREAT DAYS. His offensive abilties decrease, and so did his keep away. Sigh.. but I still am pretty aggressive with him, but use the yoyo hold shit alot now. We should do mirror matches again and see whos better now. Fuck Johnny he cant do shit under pressure. At least with Bridget I have options.

yes im serious. I wouldnt bother typing anything if i wasnt. Dont need to act like im some newb Buri.. been playing him as main since XX days with Blitz as a rival. Anyways its just my insight so take it for what its worth. But three negative penalties by Sly, and still unable to take advantage of this is just ;/. I think the problem was you had no tension. You probably had less tension than sly during the whole match eventhough he had 3 np. You didnt even starship once to even let sly feel uneasy about doing shit to you. Oh and sly.. no need to backdash multiple times when he is holding the yo yo. I know its gay but its best to just wait it out or walk back and forth building a little tension. Negative penalty is so meh. Im amazed you got 3 lol, cause I cant remember when I got my last NP. Props for you for still putting the pressure ftw though. And before you take offense to any of this, let me remind you its just my personal feeling about that one match. I am not trying to belittle you whatsoever, but just giving some advice.

Jais nice buri, but you play a bit too defensivily IMO. Try being a bit more aggressive and take some risk.

I recently decided to pick up bridget again for some damn reason. Is there a real easy way to do the Buri pull back glitch? I can get the FB bear to come out quite easily.. but the otheres are tough. Its pretty much pressing the button immediatly after release, which is why you need two fingers right? Also.. how do you roll and fd roll while pull holding the yo yo? I do like a 360 spin on my stick and buri will roll.. but other times if I do it regularly i just FD.. much thanks if you answer this.

Nah it got suspended cause of a random south park clip a friend uploaded. That account was shared between with 3 other people who uploaded vids. I guess youtube didnt really like all those vids in the first place to take it all down from a south park clip. Guess I cant upload on youtube while working anymore . just wait till sat or sunday. Im gonna release a johnny combo tutorial video. Gonna have around 80 or so practical combos in different situations. I think about 75 of them lead to knockdown. mainly 1 hit enkasu. Though all combos will be done on aba for good reason cause it'll give you a general idea of how johnny combos work and have a character to practice on. With this you should be able to figure out all sorts of combos on different chars. on the side note... where is redbeard.. cant even contact him through aim And how do i become a mod for a board? Or should I just post combos in a seperate thread?

honestly not often. Miststance jackhound should be enough stagger and stun for almost all situations. Easiest time to do it though is mistfiner K level 2... as they are sliding. mistfiner p level 3 as they are falling. or after a forward Hardslash if you catch them while croutching. I personally almost never use it unless im being risky. Its so fucken fast and zips through projectiles that it catches people off guard.
