Nah Fafnir no longer cancel-able into, like the old one. But it has more utility since you can combo after it on normal ground or air hit near corner, causes ground roll/slide. on CH it has them tumbling across the floor for a hilariously long time.

I feel like I saw this said somewhere but couldn't find in here, Kudakero seems bad on a close instant block. Yeah the return of reload style sVV isn't necessarily always a nerf at least. At the range where a +R 2 hit CH sVV would connect but knockdown kick wouldn't reach (can happen a lot without dash momentum), this style is better since the CH knocks them down.

I have a lot to catch up on from the weekend, but has anyone tried messing with or seen fuzzy j.S RC to combo after it? I bet the slowmo is enough to come down on them with something after it hits. And if blocked maybe you can get a decent mixup off it.

Just did a edit in my post but don't think CH 5H Fafnir will work without RCing. Yes Dunno if that gatling is back. I would assume not but who knows I've only seen CH 6H hit grounded and it did the bounce (link in earlier post). Dunno if it still does on CH air hit. CH 5H > GV and CH 5H > IAD j.S (stand hit) should still work.

As for CH 5H > BB, it can combo on crouch and air hit (like before). Dreiko sadly CH 5H would need to be RC to combo to Fafnir I imagine, since you cant special cancel into Fafnir like you can in +R. Yeah at least at midscreen ...2D BR RC is not as worth it without SW. But near corner it should still get good stuff. I saw 2D BR RC Fafnir work, which could likely go to dustloop. If not that then the old RC delay j.D to start dustloop should do fine. JCable j.K sounds cool. More fuzzy options perhaps. btw won't be home this weekend to update the video thread. If anyone finds new footage, feel free to throw it in there (as always).

I think you'll be happy then, they seem to be making an effort to make DI practical with all the new stuff they've done with it. I can't wait for people to explore air DI in combos, such as after a dustloop perhaps. Also reward off WT while in DI will be way better than ever before I imagine thanks to all the new stuff.

In the Sol vs Faust match, at 14:20 he does a point blank 6H on block and doesn't cancel to anything, seems to get punished easily by Faust's 2P. Looks like it doesn't push back as far as Sol's old one or Order-Sol's.
