  2. Back when I tried it a few days ago on everyone I couldn't get it to work on Labrys/Shadow Labrys either. Am I doing something wrong?
  3. If you IB 5A you can B+D before 5AA, but she can choose to block. If you IB 214A/B/SB(1) you can B+D the second hit. Block punishes vs Labrys: I'll edit this if something's wrong or needs to be added.

  10. It's that, they could tech at each of the times you do 5D. This is for when they don't tech the first time you reset into sweep >5D, then don't tech again a second time you reset into sweep > 5D, and then a third time. The only problem is if you started with something like 2A I don't think this entire thing works, I still haven't gone and found exactly what you can start with other than just sweep for it to all work. but I've been starting with the first part when they don't tech once, and it seems like from my experience most people say "ok I guess I have to tech" at that point. Or "ok I guess he knows how to reset the 5D oki." I think it's unlikely people would wait to be OTG 3 times in a row, once they realize they can just be reset into the 5D oki again for not teching (eventually becomes j.2A oki though). The first part with the 214B does the most damage so I like starting with that.

  13. Yeah just have to get used to knowing what'll happen based on how high you are. I agree, and if they block it from far away it seems at least even on block. btw Mash, looks like we're missing an Elizabeth match up thread.

  16. If Yosuke does Moonsault behind you after Dash Spring on block, you can jump back > CH air throw him. Also evades Mirage Slash if he tries that, then you can whiff punish it. Try to react though cuz Kunai will hit you for jumping here. Block punishes vs Yosuke: I'll edit this if something's wrong or needs to be added.
  17. Is it just me, or does ending air combos high up in the corner with j.214A/B leave you in a really bad position? It seems like half the time I end up in the corner myself after they tech, and if I backdash they can late tech and be at advantage or even hit my backdash. If you do j.B during the 5D it's a solid block string, but if you land to low/dodge they have time to DP. You can also do j.BB(second B attack whiffs) > 2A for low but there's a gap there too. Roll dodges some B+D but that's character specific. What you can do on anyone though is just wait after the 5D and see if they like doing it, then punish them hard if they do. If you can tell they literally just mash it at any gap they can find in your pressure, purposely make gaps and block til they learn to stop the hard way.
  18. Tried it some, it can work if they're in corner, otherwise you go over them. 214A/SB work anywhere, but I've been CH grabbed out of all three versions, so they aren't airborne at frame 1. I wish.
  19. The frame advantage on 214B seems to rely on how far you blocked it, or how high up Yu is once it's blocked. Record him doing it in training and mess around with it, he shouldn't be able to frame trap with 2A if you block the move from closer range.

  21. Yeah they have to be slightly above head level at least for it to work. Using this, looks like you can do these from midscreen into corner: CH 2B(1) > 214B > dash 2B > j.C > j.214B > 2B > j.C > j.214A > 5AAA = 3221 CH 2B(1) > 214B > dash 2B > j.C > j.214B > 2B > j.C > j.214A > Cross Slash = 3996 CH 2B(1) > 214B > dash 5C > 2C (DC) > 2AB = 2260 (for 5D oki) btw welcome to the Arcsys side of things EDIT: makes for a nifty Narukami B+D punish. Block B+D > dash under CH 2B(1) > 214B etc

  25. When doing sweep > 5D > jump oki on him, be holding back before doing the j.B. That way if he reversal B+D you'll block it. Block punishes vs Narukami: I'll edit this if something's wrong or needs to be added.
