Yeah 6H RC > WT is not worth doing ever. If they're stagger recovering 6H > BB won't combo, but that's an easy one if they aren't. 6H > GV is your best bet, they can only stagger recover out of that if they do it REALLY fast.

He still has the FB version. Now he has the FB fafnir along with a normal version done with H.

So yeah, AC+R. non-FB fafnir is back, FB sidewinder, and clean hit BB. Sounds fun. From the vid it looks like you can do the add-on super to fafnir from the regular version too. Shame they didn't show FB SW but I'm guessing it'll be like a CH where it bounces them no matter where you hit or something.

Oh wow, you're right this works. So much for that mix up if they know this I guess the only thing that leaves them susceptible to is blue beat dash 5A, but that's not going to get you much.

I was just trying it, but the timing to get the ID out is so tight I can't get it Theoretically you should be able to though, I'm just not getting it, so I'm not sure if it would cause the ID to whiff. When I teched 22C with a slight delay, I was able to get ID cuz the j.A whiffs, and in that situation he does pass over you and ID misses. But with that delay the dash 3C would catch him, so they shouldn't be delaying anyway unless they were guessing you were gonna do j.A.

You can use the 22C > dash 3C/j.A "mix up" on Ragna. Just remember he can ID if his timing is on point, so keep that in mind. If you bait it have fun punishing him.

I don't think HF > ID is worth the trouble either, unless you can do it perfectly every time on any character (good luck with that). If you drop it you're fucked.

Just now realizing another cross-under 2A situation that could be useful occasionally. normal hit GH(1) > they neutral tech > dash cross-under 2A Would be best outside corner when you don't have meter to RC or don't hit confirm the GH. If the reset is successful you can get a lot more damage off than a normal GH midscreen combo. And something funny I just learned, apparently you can use 2D to cross under. Obviously a bad idea cuz it leaves you at heavy disadvantage but I thought it looked pretty weird. -
This is something I'd been wondering about for a while. It doesn't seem that simple, all they have to do is react to you doing DS then neutral tech, then you're at disadvantage. Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I can tell there is no true way to deal with them timing their neutral tech if we're only talking about "meaty" DS (you could hit them for staying down with other moves of course).

*sneaks in* Haha nah the lack of a sword didn't bother me all that much, it's understandable since it was a prize for the EVO games. But yeah I was sad nobody (not even people in surrounding states) traveled to it. I guess it was bad timing with finals for people? idk

Huh I never realized the 2A hitbox change, cool. I do think Ragna's combos were more stylish in CS2 (mainly midscreen DS stuff) but other than that I have more fun with CSEX Ragna. He's not the most interesting character but I like him and probably won't ever play anyone else. Unless we get Bloodedge or something =P He's bound to have some new moves in the next game. Also isn't he missing an arm now, story-wise?

Hmmm I messed with it a bit, I think it's really invul from frame 10 on but it's hard to say exactly. Did find that apparently 6D can even dodge Ragna's 2C as well. I'm dodging stuff when it looks like the 2nd of those CSEX 6D pics.

Great games in BB Dusk and Psyken. It's a shame more people didn't travel for this but it was fun anyways. Hope to play you guys again soon.

I definitely preferred 6D when it didn't launch the opponent, at least for the fact that it makes the combo more annoying. However I noticed a while back it seems they made the invulnerable area reach much higher, so for dodging "low" attacks it it seems better to me. It can now dodge any 2A except Tager's. The situation I tested it was Ragna doing 2A blocked > 6D, and the other character trying to 2A after Ragna's.

After trying it out some, it seems like if you're at full screen and do DS as early as possible and it cancels the 214D~C, she can do 5D and there's nothing you can do but block it (or CS lol). However that might still be a better situation than if you jumped over or decided to just block it.
