Same cost, but the risks are much higher. And even if it's successful you have to react quickly or the one with the rejected can get another block on you. -

Her combos are not really difficult to perform aside from that, and specially now that's easier to do combos against characters like Ky and Zato/Eddie. It's really important though to learn to do JI especially now that she only has one airdash again (yeah, but that's not the worse thing you should worry about though). VCL YRC is good especially to keep your opponents in the corner and do mixups, and if you had problems doing note FRC you will not have that problem anymore since you're not restricted to specific frames.

If you play with Ky, except for 2HS not being jump cancelable you have no problem to get full ready for Xrd, yeah. -

I think that most people don't even know what "moe" means to begin with, and if we are going to play like that, at least for now BB does have more fanservice material than GG, but do we really have to discuss these meaningless things especially in a game (and especially in a fighting game)? -

When I first saw Bedman I honestly though at first glance that he was A.B.A scientist becoming himself as homunculus, only the course of time will tell, but anyway though, from the things gathered already in the arcade story he's in fact the most interesting of all the new characters confirmed, at least for now. Also, wanted to point that I'm glad Leo doesn't use the book as a weapon in the end, still hoping that's gonna be the case with That Man being playable someday. -

You're not crazy actually, I don't have much knowledge regarding her though since she's not one of the characters I play in offline the most (though her +R version is quite fun to play with), but yeah, along with Millia she's defintely one of the most improved characters in the game, unlike I-No and Potemkin (Slayer is not that bad actually, at least he's notably one of the characters with more benefits thanks to the new RC system). -
Well, why not? Here. If this was AC or Slash I'll probably put Bridget in top B at the very least, but since the only remarkable improvement with him in +R was Starship in the air... Yeah, that's about it.

Same thing as always, I've seen much of people both in past games and here as well that they could just do the IK when their opponents are in dizzy and instead they just want to do a combo that ends with a Blue Burst, and why is that?... I honestly don't know, ask the same players. -
The input was 623, so unfortunately it doesn't seem to have it anymore. With 41236HS (the new move) though, I doubt someone will go for it anymore and furthermove, that move is like Dive HS, so you wouldn't be able to do YRC anyway (unless you'll like to use it for escape purposes like Bridget rolling), the real missing think if anything is that It would have been interesting that you could still do the Dust charge, especially now with the flash stuff.

I'm thinking to take May into account as a candidate to sub in this game, she looks quite interesting in Xrd with her new moves and general improvement, any players or videos that someone can recommend me about? I have already seen some matches of Ruu, Kedako, Kazuki and probably some other that I don't remember right now, any suggestions are appreciated.

Reminds me of Ultimate Fortissimo "hat shield" if doesn't work, it seems like YRC are going to be quite important after using some particular overdrives, either to combo with or just to protect yourself. Most people will probably use YRC 5P/j.P when you are low of health as well. -

Well, I don't know how each player must be in real life of course, nor do I have the right to declare things like every I-No player are as such just because they like doing "hard" work and subsequently because some people seems they will be more happier for themselves believing so (broadly speaking), not also to say something like me or anyone else is the best I-No player when I don't even have the chance with the shit of AC/+R netcode to play against much people without a poor conection especially when I'm from EU. I already said many times as for me of why I picked I-No as my main, and it doesn't have anything to do for being easy or hard to play with. If someone really plays a character just because is easier above personal amusement though, yeah, I honestly feel very sorry for them. -

Have you played against OSCA and/or U-zen (especially the last one)? I'm not sure about OSCA, but U-zen started playing with her in Slash and while it's true that he was not that good back then, from what I've seen so far Hasegawa wouldn't have almost any chance against him now, I like way more the way U-zen plays personally, mocking Sol players in doing shoryukens and playing sometimes a bit risky with j.D and VCL YRC stuff, but to an extend that you don't feel like he's playing crazy, not at all. Hasegawa's playstyle is much simpler in the other hand, I haven't even see him doing much of a thing in combos than just P Dive>j.HS>P Dive>Note, when in Xrd since hitboxes are quite bigger now, you could make use of j.K>j.S>j.K after P Dive for example more easily, you can do P Dive loops more easily (I think I even saw three P Dives in a row in some match, LOL), and also VCL loops are more easily. I feel that putting the input issue aside, you can probably abuse of it a little more now than in Slash (I still hate Dust cinematic though). I have seen U-zen winning without need of being always covered with the note, again though knowing what he's doing in the game, and Hasegawa is almost always doing the same thing, which as you said in the end it only serves to read the other opponent more easily. -

I think that most people are just afraid of her 6FRC6 and that's really all. Other than that, her normals have always been easily to play with, especially in +R in which you have f.S with better frame recovery, 2D with better range and c.S being more easy to combo with, and yeah, while before there were only like only 2 I-No players in a tournament like the most (though I think there were quite of people playing with her in Slash also), after +R being released, there were more people willing to play with her, I think it was the first time for 2Rio for example, since I don't remember seeing him playing with her in previous entries, could be wrong though. So yeah, stop thinking "oh goddammit, I can't be like Koichi, I will never be a good I-No player", first of all is just really stupid to want to play exactly as it does other people, that's like saying you don't want to improve for yourself and try learning new combos since you are only imitating the work of another person (don't get this wrong, is perfectly normal that someone is willing to learn a character after watching other people playing with X, I'm not denying that), and it's not like 6FRC6 is equal to EVERYTHING in I-No's playstyle, Xrd itself is the prove, even with people that now must of them are just using always the same stuff since there's no much of it than that, some people are still winning some matches... Though yeah, that's one of the things that I don't like about her now, you're not going to use Dives much as before since now are only useful in the corner (except P Dive with a JI or after the command throw), STBT with stagger is useless now, going then to use 2K>2S>2HS>HCL or 2K>2HS>2D>HCL instead, 6P>f.S unlike in #R which it was useful since 6P>5HS wasn't always reliable, now is just almost as useless as Bridget j.D in the same game, then again, while it pains me to say it, I-No is indeed not that fun to play as before if you're restricted to play now with pretty always the same stuff, while on the contrary some characters like May have improved a lot compared to previous releases, so the it's just a new game to appeal beginners, new mechanics and stuff, is not an excuse at all. But anyway, just wanted to point again that FRCs are not the end of the world if you can't always do it, you can still play pretty well with someone like her without using 6FRC6 most of the time if you can offer more than just that, strategy in battle will always be the most important thing in fighting games no matter the character you play with (and earning meter is not free, after all). EDIT: Ah, also... I don't see what's the issue with I-No's inputs at all, people can do Tyrant Rave, Ride the Lightning and other stuff right? Why you wouldn't be able to do the the same with HCL/VCL before Xrd then? -

You got it wrong, I didn't mean it like she's only useful giving voice to tsunderes, just that is indeed her forte in that field. I wasn't really taking all the characters into account, but maybe now that I think about it, Uchida's lively voice would probably fit more with May than Bridget, regardless though... I can think of Touyama Nao (TWGOK, SNAFU,...) for example.

Haha, yeah, true enough. I was a little shocked after knowing that his seiyuu was a woman at first, even with "that" sort of things happening sometimes in the manga... And I'm guessing that's the reason why you picked Ryoko Shiraishi. While we're with it, I don't think Rie would really fit as May, everyone knows that she was born for the sole purpose in giving voice to tsunderes characters (so to speak), and I don't really think of her as a tsundere, even with all the "baka" thing to Johnny everytime she's defeated.
