What the hell happened here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oe6DVAwneWU&feature=player_detailpage#t=3280 I know that If you do P Dive immediately in the air I-No doesn't jump, but you CAN'T hit the opponent with it when that happens, furthermore in that position I'm pretty sure she would have jumped again in the previous games.

If you main Sol you shouldn't have any problems, Bridget lacks in defense and Sol has great pressure. I think we agree for most of the Bridget players that Sol is one of the most diificult matchups, one of the main reasons is because you can easily "kill" Roger in many situations with him (yeah, do not force me to clarify what I mean by that), and that puts us with a really predicament (although, I'm more of just calling the yoyo except for Roger Get to tell the truth), and Sol in the other hand has many strong normals with also a good range. I would say it depends on the circumstances, I'm going to admit that one of the main reasons I decided to main I-No is because I thought it would be really fun to play with a "weirdo" using a guitar as a weapon, but at that time I was playing for fun more than anything else (doesn't change the fact that she's REALLY fun to play though). Bridget in the other hand... Heh. Yeah, I also was at first one of those people who didn't see anything special with him (non-gameplay speaking), but what can I say? I'm just the type person who intends to play most of the characters and before I knew it, I discovered how really fun is to play also, even if his air throw doesn't allow you to follow with a combo (if just for that, he'll be more good than he's already, LOL), even if 2S CH doesn't allow you enough time to lead into combo sometimes, even if 6S can be a pain in the ass if it's avoided, even if he doesn't have any H normals that would help you increase the guard bar,... I just find really fun to play with tactical characters more than the challenge itself (and that's also why I'm planning to sub Bedman this time around, maybe even main him if I-No doesn't really suit me in Xrd). -
There's also Mitsuru, I guess he must be new into GG? At any rate, one of the best Bedman I've seen so far.

Uh... Really fun coming from a Bridget player like myself, but beating him up in Maniac is really easy actually, even then the AI just calls the yoyo randomly whenever just god knows when, he's not the type of character you can just spam or play like crazy like someone could do with Sol or another character and still win. -
In fact, as I said before AC's story itself was quite boring and many things that were introduced didn't have any sense at all, but the connection (?) between Crow and the Japanese race, and also being the one who created the seal that sealed Justice, are one of the few things still interesting in AC's story, There are a lot of "missing links" still to be cover up in GG's world, but saying that Crow is a bad character just because we don't know much of him yet is not enough reason, I mean, don't get me wrong though, I don't really like Chipp for example and it seems like everyone loves him, but that can change depending on how he will be in Xrd this time around, this applies not only for someone who doesn't like the character, but also from people of the other side. I, at the very least, didn't like some characters at first and the other way around, generally speaking. And anyway, wasn't supposed to be the last game back then? That would explain some shit things like I-No having a bad ending one way or another, or Slayer returning to his own world and never being able to return to the human world... Until Xrd.

Not only Bedman is extremely hated just because he's male, but now Crow is already a forgotten character just for that same reason?

I also saw a Sol player using the command throw against her just right after the end of the cinematic, I'm not sure if this in particular was also possible before though, since I've never fight against someone willing to do something like that when you're using one of the best reversals in the game.

I don't see why I can't compare Xrd with XX, fighting games are still fighting games, and we are still talking about GG, not another game. Imagine that someone asks you which is the best fighting game in terms of gameplay, what would be your answer then? There's no one being better than another just because there are not EXACTLY the same game? At least for myself, I wouldn't like to play games that are all the same if that's what it takes to criticize something. As far as I can see until now, all the things she can do with YRC were things she could perfectly do before, but HCL and VCL must now be first hit and MUST hit the opponent if you don't want to lose meter for nothing, and to that purpose they have even shortened the range of both of them *facepalm Seriously, I have lost count of the quantity of players that they were able to win just because they were lucky to catch someone with j.D, and that's because is one of the few things she can still do to incite some fear, but aside from that, unlike Slash/AC/+R you can't use f.S as a tool for combo anymore, and you can't use Dives as baits for mixups anymore, and j.D still has the same frame data it seems, so even that can still be a bad thing especially against shoryuken characters like Sol and Ky. I don't have any doubt that I-No can still has some benefits with the new RC system, but it's not like she's the only character that can take advantatge of this, Millia is way more fearsome than before with the time slow and the change of the ring which now prevents you to escape in oki, Venom can now make combos from a large distance and unlike her even if Venom is unable to succeed, he can do more chipp damage and has more control of space, and that makes a huge difference compared to I-No, so you can't seriously tell me she's one of the characters that makes more profit with the new system, because then again, except for RRC, everything she can do with YRC are things she can perfectly do in previous games. EDIT: Oh well, except for YRC Longing Desesperation if anything. But with 6P>5HS you can follow up with HCL without much problem and add 6FRC6 to that if you want, but once again, with HCL having lost range and you'll have to lose 50% meter now instead of 25%... -

Is more effective with Pot of course, both HCL and VCL have lost range, but against someone like Potemkin who can't airdash and has great hitbox it makes things more easier for I-No players now more than ever, and before of Xrd you're going to spam STBT with fear of being beaten by Hammer Fall, but now we have DCL to protect ourselves against that as well. So yeah, just keep a little distance against Pot, let him jump since is the only thing he could do and then wait for an opportunity to counterattack. Nothing more, nothing less. Anyone uploading that match? -

Interesting though, when Ramlethal wins it only says "Ramlethal", and now when Elphelt wins it says "Valentine" as well... I wonder if this has been expressly made somehow.

Oh man... This trailer has given me even more hype than when I saw I-No for the first time in the second trailer, and I would certainly play this game ALSO for the story, so yeah, I hope USA gets this game in December as well. Elphelt looks great in motion, can't wait to play with her, but I think I'm still going for Bedman of all the new characters confirmed in Xrd. I guess it's safe to confirm also, that the voice behind "I'm never satisfied with 100%" is who I think it is. -

If that's it, yeah, since I didn't know about Bedman normals inputs for being a new character. I guess the boomerang head has more hitbox than I though, Pot players will surely suffer against him.

If it's about roses, then maybe you'll want to put Rachel rather than anyone else, what you're saying is still a folly if you ask me. Yeah, well... This happens in many games with new DLC characters after all, not only fighting games. But at any rate, is hard to imagine a character more broken than Zato/Eddie nonetheless. -

A "moe" character with shotguns and rifles, what else we can ask for? But I like the idea actually, not the best design but other than that I don't see anything wrong with it. I guess she's going to be the type of character "Dance with me!", if anything I hope she's not going to be that broken like Kokonoe. -
I'm not sure about this, 2D (if that's the correct notation) can be used to block projectiles, or it was thanks to the boomerang just before returning to Bedman?

I see most people doing command air throw>P Dive>j.S>j.HS>VCL>j.P>j.S>dj.S>j.HS>HCL>DCL, but it wouldn't be best to try to do another VCL after the second j.S and then jump again in order to finish the combo? And from what it seems so far, I guess P Dive is the only thing reliable after the command throw.
