Thank you very much for that. Sadly I don't have any equipment to record my matches in a non-crappy quality fashion. But I guess a phone will do... On the other hand, I'm a bit worried about Adachi (and a little bit about Marie too). Since Adachi is a "Short-ranged Trickster who actually uses his gun and inflicts fear status ailments", I'm a little worried about what sort of tricks are up his sleeve. Especially with the fact that he uses Heat Riser, Evil Smile, Ghastly Wail (Goddammit Arc-y you could at least give him another move that isn't already there...), Megidola, and Atom Smasher. I don't have the specifics though but a page and a the Dustloop wiki has some more specific showings of his moves. I really am scared though, his move set from what I can see, shows some really strong mixups that could be totally annoying. Especially with how Evil Smile can be taken out at any given moment. Where a ghost pops out and inflicts fear if it touches you (basically Mitsuru's Marin Karin but scarier looking). http://www.dustloop.com/wiki/index.php?title=Tohru_Adachi_(P4AU) http://pastebin.com/Ua4UTjDh If this is getting off-topic I'll kindly take it out if that's the case btw.

So if we gave him a flying... Shitlord. He'd probably dominate. Even when some of the original cast is already struggling to keep up. I'd love to see Adachi be up there in the higher bits of popularity, but I'd also like to appreciate having a fight against him that won't be hopeless for me. Just a thought. ^_^;;

Throw-happy? Jesus we already have someone who does more than just fill the job... (Looks at the beefcake)
-
Well we don't have any info from him apart from trailers and a stream or two. So there's no way we can really give anything that isn't just speculation. Even if we were from Japan playing the arcade versions, we'd still be stuck like this making the wiki for Adachi now. C'est la vie. Best to just wait for the console release since it's feels so close now. *o*

Phew... I'm so glad that Liz's flick (grab) on counter hit still wall bounces. I always seem to catch myself throwing a lot during situations. XD Though why I'm happy is that I can still do the CD<66<5C<A236 combo. Or Grab<Dash<Thany-slash<A Maziodyne for clarification. Also is it me or is AB Maziodyne's visuals not correspond with the "width" of the beam at 5:04:25 of the Twitch stream by Elocahai? By that I mean how Yosuke doesn't get hit when he crouches from the midair Maziodyne. Especially viewable on the second charge. (Crap I don't know how to Timestamp on Twitch Streams. Why is it different than Youtube vids!?) Oh yeah and I was thinking of posting some videos for self-critique but I don't know how to upload my recorded matches (nor do I know where to discuss this so I'll take this part out when this is answered).

Oh.... yay? I guess? Can't say that's better or good... I guess just decent really. But then gain it was an early loketest note so maybe it doesn't hold true now. *Crosses fingers It was i.... Dio? Edit: Such ignorance I had back then for not knowing that It was You! DIO!!! Now enjoy yourselves everyone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkRaVz44GBs&index=2&list=FLJU2SBJZWFP6Mjos5jNrcbw

Anyone wonder if 5D goes farther when air turned like in P4U? Perhaps Dammy-poo can clarify eventually... Or we'll have to wait and see since I don't expect any Liz players to record that kind of finding any time soon. : l

Does Randomizer really have the ability to turn the tide on matches like *FINGERSNAP*? And what's with Sho anyways? I probably haven't watched as much gameplay as you guys but Sho's mixups seem... mm... Well they look easier than Akihiko in my opinion since they're kinda like Mitsuru. She usually has a "fixed path" of mixups when she has the pressure on you imo. And as a question from you guys: When does it seem a lot of people use Randomizer? And when would it be the best time?
-
I'm sure Damosu can pull through, it may be a tough challenge against those nasty Yu's, Mitsuru's, and Sho's. But I'm sure he can still pull through. After all it's not like he's just another averager Liz player right? Since honestly the only thing I see being a problem is how there's only one Liz player up in those leagues. If anything we definitely need a new Liz player who can put up a Sho like that. (Get it? : D) Anyone know the reason Okusan left Liz? Is it something more than the usual "She's dead to me like she's dead to the competitives" kinda reason?
-
Did it happen yet? I mean, I don't exactly know where to go to follow these super ultra competitive contests and such. Nor do I have much knowledge of such an environment. I know I've been asking too often, but is there a link to what you guys are talking about? Sorry for being in the corner too often.
-
Sorry for the late reply since I finally was able to watch it. That SB Randomizer... such insane damage. Not even counting fear in that too. I can already see the insane comebacks once we get the game... 0w0 SB Mabufudyne looks WAY better than I remembered (haven't watched many Liz matches lately). And I honestly think we have at least a less hopeless MU than back then. You didn't think so before? ._.;;

Plz link. I'm super curious and this video sounds like it could shine new hope for me... : X

Looks like even Aigis can't beat the dark carnivore of unfair cross ups and combos of despair... Chie........ =_= Edit: Oooooooh I finally see it okay... giot it! *Cough Ahem* Anyways, the auto-combo seems to be really useful now that I think about it. I see it be used in a lot of combos and in the pressure games. Any follow-ups on this? I'm not exactly an expert at deducting what I see so that's why I ask. Whatd'ya guys think?

Any tips for those who use a pad like me then? (^_^

Ugh... Haven't seen troll players like those in a long time. I remember this one named Johnny Sanchez that was a Liz player that I kept getting paired up with. Every time I was just about to win, that guy would diconnect the match and I would end up getting the red name penalty. And when I messaged the guy he at first was like "Wtf are you talking about" and then when I reminded him he was like "Oh... yeah I don't care about you, you're nothing to me, and if go to your mom if you're gonna cry about it" Breaking News: Two PS3 controllers were found hidden in a 14 year old teenager's cabinet completely destroyed. Witnesses are still unsure of the cause of destruction. And then after that me and my friend kept getting paired with him and DC'ing with our other accounts. Oh it felt SO good shoving a mouthful of his own treatment to him... *Ahem Cough cough* My bad I'll get back on topic. ^_^;;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0lBlMRn2bY#t=1594 From right here it seems like we can do Teddie's AoA in midair now. Thank god they did that. Though... that doesn't change the fact it's still kinda... horrible in the end. Plus since the Teddie player couldn't do it, I'm not sure if we can follow up with the rest of the AoA if it's done in the air... Also in the second round, when KD (Kintouki Douji) throws an item one time, he threw it again when he was still out. That might be the explanation for the three items popping out thing you told us Wiredgod. Since when I saw that it didn't have like a blue aura effect like all SB versions of attacks do as I remember.

Well of course, I only use it against... say the C-B+ ranked Naoto's and below since people in that class as I recall are usually really FA happy. Other times I use 2D is when I get a combo off of them and I can do it before they wake up. Helps a lot against the rough and tough big one's like Aki. So wait, as soon as the cards pull back? Not the full animation. Got it. Lemme see if that works in some time. Also I tried doing SB Maragidyne, jump backwards, j.B, D Garu since that seems to work but for some reason the opponent ends up a bit too far below me to continue before the get back up. I'll try and find a video to show what I mean. Update (4 mins later): Found it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0B6ARUnGRw#t=221 right when she uses SB Maragidyne and then Mind Charges. Update mk0.5 x2: Wait I figured it out, it's because she uses Mind Charge that she has time to do the jump and j.B like that. Nevermind.

Now that I think about it... I wonder how much of a pain/easy target Sho would be? I'd say a 5-5 or 6(Sho)-4(Liz) since he does have the upper hand by the teleport that I've seen from Personaless Sho. But he doesn't exactly have a "Rock Paper Scissors Crossup" like Akihiko. Thank GOD I'm not the only one who does that... Oh yeah... Forgot about netplay's OP powers of lagginess... But how do you D Garu after 5B though? I haven't exactly tried it yet, but wouldn't the start-up for D Garu be a few frames too many to continue the combo like that? And also link plz. Either there never was a link or I never had eyes to begin with. (Which it's usually the latter...) I thought everyone did that when they went against Naoto... : / I do that all the time since I seem to meet more Nao-chans than Yu-SK (Swag King) or Mitsuru-Senpai-don't-notice-me-please nowadays. Plus with my experience as a Nao-chan player (okay now I feel like I'm bragging...)! A lot of Nao-players like to get up in Liz's face and FA expecting something like 5C or 2C. Of course in circumstances where Nao-chan is getting up after a combo, the FA on that situation even more. (And why am I using honorifics?)
-
Insanity is all I can say for that crossup... I mean I can do it (in fact it took me two tries trying to crossup my bro) but whoa... Such profound knowledge. Teach me more Omni, Arm, and Poopy Head Senpai... *-* Oh so the jB>jA>jC route only works on FC? That makes a lot more sense... So 5C instead and from there I'm guessing you can go with say 2C>236B>Sweep>236CD>...(From here I use a OMB>5C>2C>214B>AoA>OMC>Ghastly Wail) I think it gives about 6K-8K. The huge gap being because it's a 50/50 on getting the AoA>Ghastly Wail part right. I get a little excited sometimes and jab them by accident instead of Ghastly wail when I OMC.^_^;; The input for OMC on the pad is... ABC right? Or square, X, and Triangle as I remember. Now that that's done... I'm now trying to perfect/learn the ways of the Garu loops so any tips on that too? All I know is that it's easy to do on say Akihiko or Kanji (in fact I have been able to perform it ONCE against them but only once my entire time with P4U), but it's ridiculously awkward and weird to do it with Chie or Teddie... Bolded part: My Corner combo route when I can 2C them without the opponent flying or FC'd, not the most practical but it's the flashiest and biggest combo (in damage) that I know I can execute without fail. Kinda derived some of it from Elizabeth's Challenge #30 and if I don't have meter then it usually just ends with 236D instead of 236CD.
-
Wait Nihil hand? I'm guessing that's a Shadow Teddie only move since that move did come from our wonderful Nihilistic side of the bear. '3' Also I'm not exactly sure where to put this so would it be okay if I ask where I should post the news about Rise being a playable character? Hmmm... Nani ga Deru Kuma... That would mean "Wonder what'll come out Kuma/Teddie?" in a rough-ish translation. So does that mean there's an SP version of Teddie's item throwing? If so, it's a safe guess to say that Teddie might have another list of items he can throw out (not sure if this was already said though).
-
Oh ty I was wondering where to go for that. TY TY And sorry for off topic discussion. Truly.
-
Speaking of mindgames what do you guys usually do during the D Maragidyne set up? I usually jab 2A repeatedly since it's quick and fast and they eventually fudge up with it. I used to use AoA for the overhead but even in pressure people can easily block it since it's so slow. Someone remind me again what oki is? I'm starting to lose my grip on the terms too... .-.;; It's a lot more tricky to do 236A than 236B even with the OMC honestly and plus it's pretty much meterless since the recovery is quicker and doesn't require an OMC to continue the combo if they're wall...bound. Also there's a combo in challenge mode that I wanna know what you guys think about. I think it's #23(?) where you have to DP (Shuffle Time) the opponent at the corner and you're supposed to dash up and poke them with A since you're pushed back when they pop out of the Demon Compendium. Any idea what to do with that? Since the timing is so specific and the follow up after it is mind numbing... Any tips for how to consistently IAD like a lot of combos go? Yeah I can block but I lack in a lot of practical things you guys probably have...
-
Whoa... it seems like we're actually talking about gameplay here. Such a miracle... *v* But is this for P4A? Or P4A:TUSH?
-
Yeah what the hell on that ASW!? I mean... I know he's the King of Protagonist Swag but that doesn't justify making the bottom tiers like us even worse! Let alone giving Yu a freaking command grab! We ALREADY HAVE KANJI FOR THAT! YU'S GRAB IS ALREADY HELLA ANNOYING... '3' HSM?
-
I'm pretty sure they kept that little rule in P4A:TUSH too... You know when it comes down to these chats I end up feeling like some slave to the Mitsuru, Chie, and Narukami players... ._.;; Why must ASW do this to us? It's like an anarchy... er... monarchy? Tyranny? Something where people are in the bottom and the people that aren't us are basically Super Duper High School Lvl is what I mean. Oh trust me I know that if I can learn it, it's like nirvana. Just like how I felt when I learned to do the grab route, Maragidyne route, AoA route(s), and the Maziodyne wallstick route. Sad thing though is that I have so much trouble since the garu route is different depending on the character you're against. Trust me, I'd love to learn it (in fact even then I'm trying as we speak) but if doing the garu loop is going to be the hardest on Chie or the others that we have a bad MatchUp with. I don't really know if it's worth it. :/ Well someone... has... problems with Teddie like me and Chie... 0_0 Yeah I remember that happening in one of the Liz vs. Mitsuru matches too though I thought it was because SB Ghastly Wail "tracked" the opponent or something like that when I saw some of the notes with Liz (during her nerf). I just assumed that the whole "tracking" thing meant that Thany-poo also followed the opponent in a vertical/altitude sense along with a horizontal/distance sense. Might be completely wrong on what I just said with the whole SB heat seeking Ghastly Wail thing though since it was some pretty outdated notes where I saw that...
