  1. I don't think you understand. That's exactly what the os does. On hit it combos on whiff it punishes. You're not understanding why having to account for another option is bad even though we have an answer. If he's at full screen just letting you chill out and throw a fireball then he's not playing footsies well. That's more a player fault than the character. He can actually just stand out of your 5h range and wait. Just okay off what you do, he doesn't need to continuously whiff f.s. Idk about 6p beating drill so I'm not going to comment.
  2. well like i said you can just os the dust, but that's another factor you have to deal with on oki, along with the universal ways people have to disrespect leo's oki, and dust yrc is the devil. the fact that leo has to guess even more when his guessing game was already bad is terrible. he can stop you from doing H sonic boom by hitting you in the startup with his super long normals. jumping in on a grounded faust is a stupid idea. faust has THE GOD antiairs and he WILL blow you up if that's your go to strat also i don't know about leo's new 6P, that might beat j.2K but in 1.0 it definitely didn't

  4. yeah that behaviour is super strange, it's not entirely proximity based as i demonstrate in the videos. it's super weird, and there are ways to ensure the next time you do berserker slash you'll get the fast one, but they involve dropping combos so... i made two videos about it in january https://youtu.be/95JwbHxQ-bw https://youtu.be/GNqI6OEvAzs basically if you're in the state which would have the fast 236H, but you're too far, you'll get the slow version and then lose the state. but if you never get the slow version, you can freely move and play neutral and the next one (if you're close enough) will be fast. it's really really really odd

  6. the matchup is ass. leo doesn't really have an easy time getting in on faust. you just have to get in somehow and hope you stay in. and once you get in, your meterless stance oki is a blow up because you have to guess between him doing all the regular stuff other people have like throwing, blitzing, backdashing, etc. and he has a frame 1 invul dust yay, you can OS the dust but it then loses to other options so on so forth i think the matchup got a little better now that in 1.1 we have actual mixup in our favor if we spend 25 meter on H sonic boom YRC (thanks to it's slower speed), but do note that H sonic boom YRC jump late airdash vs empty jump low corner mixup doesn't work if you use j.P on faust thanks to his crouching hurtbox. you have to use j.K against him, which is a better starter, but airdash j.K is totally reactable, I recorded it on random and I could block it pretty much all the time even though my reactions aren't particularly great. in regards to mini faust, if he's coming at you you just drop the combo and block or jump, or if you have the charge, combo into DP.
  7. They nerfed it's meter gain in 1.1 Also doesn't pot now have jc icpm confirms, I know he can combo into icpm from regular air to airs now at least. Not sure if he can get it from a regular ground to air hit, I suppose probably only on certain chs

  11. thanks to the new H sonic boom speed, H sonic boom YRC after rekkas is way better now you can do dash 5[H] dash K and depending on how you time it you can either cross up or not (edit: nvm it doesn't cross up because its a true blockstring, you can do to side switch if you want, you can crossup with H, but that's slow and totally reactable) you can also go high with H if you want. also H sonic boom YRC dash throw >P>jc j.S>jc j.H>j.236H or P>hjc j.S>j.H>j.236H works (except on ram and faust it seems). you have to get all four hits of the projectile to hit the opponent after you throw them to connect the P. also you can only let j.S hit once against ky, against other characters you can do j.S(2)

  14. no see, that's different. throws are MADE to counter blocking, so high damage throws are to persuade you to not block even harder chip damage on the other hand... that shit is just straight broken. crush triggers are okay though! because while it's a non-throw move that punishes you with a combo for blocking, it's part of the game's fundamental design. and chip damage isn't amane shouldn't exist

Today I labbed out ways to punish her reversal super because I was bored, all this is assuming you were right next to her when she did the super, if you were further away you can get juicier combos for fewer resources (no magnetism needed no spark bolt needed), just do a standard FC 6C combo, Midscreen and corner (celica in the corner) are different because she travels further if she started in the corner (probably more screen real estate to work with). If Tager is in the corner then you can just do whatever you want. Even if you don't get the backdash and just block you can 720 and she'll fall into your hands. All punishes start with backdashing the super, the visual cue, if you need one, is when Minerva stalls slightly after pulling back. I didn't note down the combo, but it was something like FC 6C>j.D>5C>6A>2C>CT> walk forward 5B>5C>5D>etc. (Magnetism) FC 6C>j.D>5C>6A>3C>whiff AC>5C>6C>j.2C>5B>5C>5D>whiff GF>5C>6A>2C>AC>GF (you must do j.D after FC 6C immediately, and 5C immediately on landing)

You can YRC WT, unless you're talking about 1.1 and YRC during active (which is what it sounds like cause you mentioned YRC OS), but then the same change happened to every command grab, so it's not a sol vs may vs ram thing. Also if you're talking about 1.1 OHK is 623K now as well. and they can all run up throw it's just more awkward for a 632146 motion. though it's not like ram has a 623K, so she can just 66236K and get command grab anyway. the thing about her command grab is it's really slow and has shit range but this is cp general not xrd so you dont have to reply just ignore me i just had to say it my bad

  21. what, you mean microdash sonicboom? yeah i'm pretty sure you can do it with any charge move. it's because the game has a certain leniency on inputs so you have a window after hitting forward to press the button, and you can microdash before hitting the button.
  22. i wasn't saying DP input leniency didn't get in the way of doing microdash quartercircle motions. i was just questioning his example.
