  5. Also according to kedakos data on trigger it's only invul from frame 3, and invul runs out one frame before you gain back movement, so if you blitz a projectile you can presumably be meatied for a punish. This is from memory though I may be wrong

  9. My point is that the wording is probably right and I'm probably reading it wrong. And so I wanted input so I can fully understand how the recovery works.

  11. um, i'm pretty sure every character in +R has frame one upper body or above-knees invul (except kliff, he's frame 1 above chest invul)
  12. it's not the same as j.D recovery because the j.D recovery are all phrased differently. the only recovery notes that have the same phrasing are aerial ride the lightning and wall genyouzan (the antiair throw)

  14. the frame data says "recovery until landing and 6 frames landing recovery/ 6 frames landing recovery" whatever that means. for fast shuriken it says "16 frames total/ 3 frames landing recovery" seems to me to mean that you have no actions until landing, though clearly that isnt the case? so i have no idea how to interpret the data
  15. the frame data still shows slow shuriken as 6 frames landing recovery, but as i posted before: how did that happen. can slow shuriken be cancelled into specials before landing? what?

  17. I have played xrd in arcades , but not nearly enough to pass judgement on anything. However I am fairly certain that it is really not just her j.p and her supers that make her good. You seem to be completely failing to understand the point I'm making (i'm not disagreeing that j. P and her supers are strong). You also really should get off your high horse. Just because you play the game doesn't make you an expert either. Yes you may have more insight (though even then it's not guaranteed), no that doesn't invalidate what other people say. (i'm not saying I understand the game better than you btw in case you misunderstand this as well) Anyway perhaps I'm completely wrong and her setplay and damage don't make her strong and its just her j.   18. You're missing the point I'm making. If she didn't have strong setplay or high damage her getting momentum is not as much of a threat. And I wasn't invalidating what you were saying, I was saying that it's simplifying it too much to say that she's strong just because of "her j.P and her supers" (granted toranshi is stupid).
  19. first of all, there's no need to be so antagonistic straight off the bat. second of all, when ram just came out, like a few weeks in i think (not so sure about the exact timing), ogawa had an interview where he said he thinks ramlethal is good and probably A tier but he wasn't entirely certain she was that good. or something along those lines it was a while back i don't remember his exact words, but i do recall reading this interview that's what he was referring to i assume it's not like her j.P and supers alone make her as strong as she is, she also has strong setplay and high damage and retarded corner carry as well.

  21. Invul change does make a difference, projectiles can pass through growler during the invul period, leaving him just standing there growlering. What dogura did there was a hard burst bait, growler wouldn't have even hit the Jin, he read the burst and growlered way in advance, and did it too far away to actually hit with growler active, which is why I said it could be done in 1.1. I understand that the growler valiant is burst safe, but I felt that it wasn't demonstrated in the video there.
  22. that would be because growler projectile guardpoint now is frame 1 with the loss of full invul and it's startup was reduced, you could always growler mid valiant if you wanted but it wasn't as good. nowhere in that valiant did a move wallstick, which is the change he put in the parentheses
