  1. Ogawa always thought Sol's super strong. Now that everyone's toned down and moved below Sol (according to him) and Sol was more or less untouched, he left him in the top spot.
  2. On the app or web version? I don't see it on the web version.
  3. Or add thumbnail pictures of the move. They're all posted on the wiki, with permission I'm sure it's okay to use them. The white text on red stripes needs to go though. That is just blindingly painful to read for me.
  4. I am going to both agree and disagree with some of your points. I usually use simpler characters not to learn the character, but to learn the rules and system mechanics of a game. For a character like Sol, you can learn the essentials really quickly. You don't necessarily have to master the character, but you can understand how the reversal system works, the RC system works, the slash/blitzshield system depending on the game, etc. You get a feel for the speed and pacing of the game as well. At that point you can just pick a character that works for you within the confines of the game since you know how the game actually works. I played Sol for a few weeks just to feel out Xrd before going back to I-No and Axl. However, this falls into a point you also made about how people learn in different ways, to which I totally agree.
  5. YRC Rensen takes care of that. Here's a really good example of why f.S > 2S is good. http://gfycat.com/OrdinaryClearcutEidolonhelvum In the first blockstring, had the Sol decide to jump out at the end of f.S, you can gatling into 2S. If he keeps deciding to block, you do YRC Rensen and keep pressure going. They either have to block and take chip damage + RISC crank, or burn tension FDing.
  6. f.S was always a really good, fast poke that gives stagger on CH. Now you can use it depending on spacing to combo into aerial routes (IE blocked burst bait, read on a jump out, etc). But why are you jumping against an Axl anyways? I wish :|
  7. PSA: Save your fused cubes, buy cards. Don't turn it in for the quest. Waste of money.
  8. Summoner is pretty easy mode but you'll get bored of it (I don't recommend making it your main but that's your choice). Game gets harder once you hit Ghent.
  9. Yay new content!
  10. Expires in a period of 3 days when you fill the gauge and click the button. It turns into a pill you can give to any of your 50-69 characters for an injection of 1mil exp. RIP Urgent Quests.
  11. YRC Rensen which also knockdowns now + f.S > 2S gatling REAAAAAALLY helped with his pressure game. You can mix it up with 3P or 6H YRC > Throw or crank up that RISC.
  12. As if learning a new character from scratch isn't going to gimp you? Adjusting to your main is a lot easier to master then building up from scratch again. You like the character? Then stick it out. You make her sound like Slash Robo-ky
  13. What's the reasoning behind these two tier lists? They don't make sense to me based on the patch notes and my own experiences. There were 2 additional loketests and changes since March. Arbitrary character rankings are pointless. Give a reasoning for the tier list.
  14. Really? How could you NOT? EDIT: "For the security measures, Goblin Pad and security card system are being developed." CALLED IT
  15. I just dumped 20 million worth of shit I farmed onto the market. From a publishing aspect, the game's been kind of a hot mess. They should have pre-planned a lot of the security issues beforehand. No OTP against the hackers? No AH lock such as level or a premium account purchase to prevent gold-buying? C'mon now. C'mon.
  16. That guy gave me such a hard time. I usually use Mountain Pusher to knock over the APCs and beat them down, but his stupid ass robots would kill me if I try and do a standing combo. I didn't know about the retry tickets either so I was stuck on him for like 3 days before I just took it slow and whittled him down with Lightning Dance to get the robots and then cancel into OiP > Crushing Fist > Stuff.
  17. I very much dislike the F. Mages who teleport when I land Lightning Dance on them, or any boss that has some sort of auto damage wake-up. You're preaching to the choir. At least you can hurl fireballs, I have to hurl MY BODY at them. It's hard to do ground combos with some of the gimmicks. I like how the Crusader on the 2nd Floor I think was like...the gatekeeper. Most people I know are either stuck at him and can't clear it / gave up, or managed to get past him. It's always him.
  18. The Event Legacy Pots are cheaper and have a triple rate of success of giving you a legacy piece of gear. I did it on the first day or two to make a quick couple million before prices dropped, but I think legacy gear is overrated. Cow event is worth doing because you get a lot of things you need for awakening. I can't make money off seals anymore though. They patched out the Mecha Tau bug that let you kill your friends in dungeons. I was sad. Unique Drop Rate Boost is just that. And then...I found this: http://i.imgur.com/VBEEHj5.jpg

  20. If you're maining Chipp and getting blown up is why you want to learn a secondary, you're not really going to learn and master Chipp. You gotta use his gimmicks and mobility options not just as an in, but for your defensive options. Sin's damage is high but he's notoriously straight-forward. You'll do well against scrubs but you're not really learning anything. It seems more like you're looking for easy wins.
  21. I'd like to humbly add that while Chipp may be a little execution-wise easier to play, at the speed you'll be playing at and considering he gets blown up for making mistakes, may not be the best choice for a beginner who's still trying to learn the mechanics of the game. You really have to have a firm grasp of the situation and quickly make decisions based off that. That being said, Sin's defense modifier is 1.04x vs Chipp's 1.30x. So you'll take a significant amount of reduced damage compared to Chipp. I personally like having blitz shield on one button so I can react faster to projectiles and get blown up regardless.
  22. All that matters :B No idea why they wouldn't have a side tournament for BBCP to help build up hype for BBCPE the NEXT year. They could have had it as a send-off celebration. Such a missed marketing opportunity.
  23. You haven't seen LVL 9 Kihop then. Plus you can hold Kihop for much longer which lets your teammates do the things.
