  1. Not true. If you are close to the ground you should be abusing the green landing system. Try look at some nico videos. I have seen pro players abuse the landing system mid range like that
  2. I dont always keep them active. But some people think that ab is not that good compared to vanilla so they just tend to keep 2ab active. I use them both
  3. Hi. Quanta has a weaker neutral game. You will mostly lose br exchanges unless you get into close range. Quanta is a very good suit, you have nice mobility from 2B. You have decent melee combo with high cut resistance. You can use 2AB if you want better range and priority for you melee moves. (Damage too!) One of the main combo of quanta is BR>BD8B/ BD8B 3 HIT>2B>8B .. I will stop talking about combos since you can always check the wiki for combos and other stuffs. In order to use quanta well you will have to learn to use your 2B effectively. You will need to learn how use that to help yourself find an opening.. Pro players always 2B on top of your head and melee you from above. That way you cannot really see what is quanta trying to do above you and its really hard to react to especially when you are cornered. Just use Lock-On to punish the landing enemy, some players might use it in mid range to create a L shape/help cover yourself going in. I dont recommend you use your Charge B at your first life. Since people will start to ignore you and try to just kill your 2500 partner. Use it during your 2nd life if you are really low and need to get out of the situation by stunning your enemy/having more health. ABs can be used close range. I usually do this AB>2B>Melee. That way the opponent has to dodge your AB and your melee at the same time. Its good to waste the opponent's boost and try to get in for a melee combo. If you wanna play safe AB>2B>A>CC8B That is all i can tell about quanta. i am not that good at explaining stuffs, but if you want i can have a session with you sometime and show you how to practically use quanta.
  4. Ryu in SSF4 is good at zoning and has combos that deals damage. Ken too. They might be similar to ryu and ken when you compare them to each other, but still they dont excel at anything. Hi-Nu was considered as S-A rank in the beginning of vanilla until people realize how bad nu actually is. That was also the reason why they gave them a CS that has decent tracking. But that only made them even more less unique compared to other 3Ks like SF who is very similar to them in terms of play style. I still like them both. I used to play them a lot in vanilla and i still play them in Full Boost. But still they cannot be compared to Xi Gundam/S.F/Turn X Turn X has a landing ability and a decent CS with decent mobility from BC. Xi Gundam do a better job at mid range due to the missiles and funnel missiles which can help you get some free hits off the enemy. Xi Gundam has a burst AC and more mobility when BC is activated. S.F has a better CS which tracks better and deal more damage. Top rank gerobi which deals 181 damage. Dragoons for both defend and offend. Melee wise.. Xi gundam's melee suck but his neutral game is better than both Nus. Turn X's 4/6B is actually not bad, it has ok priority and can be comboed into other stuffs for more damage. S.F's 4/6B is one of the top rank 4/6 from the game(except melee suits like master/god) for a ranged MS. Nu's melee are just bad. Pure garbage. Hi-Nu's melee is a lot better and more reliable/better priority. Both Nu lack burst damage. The only thing close to quick burst damage is hi-nu's ex attack. They both dont have good death combo during ex burst. I always think that suits with strong death combo/burst during EX is a plus. Look at S/A rank suits they all have sth that deal a lot of damage. This is what both nu's are lacking But then Hi-Nu is still a good suit. The only problem of Hi-Nu(except burst/death combo) is that it drops slowly. It does not have any drop ability which is a huge problem.

  6. Ameyan is a bad move. Wing Zero could just cancel the CSA and shoot at you while you are landing. The only way for now is really either block it or step cancel out of it. Either way the wing zero can still land before you and have another meter of boost to attack you. This is why the zero system is broken as fXXK. I suggest not to fly that much against Wing Zero TV. Just watch out for AC and play a little bit defensive. Wing Zero TV's melee priority is not that good, so going in for melee is actually a good choice. But you will have to be able to dodge the CSa. The suit has literally no direct weakness due to the fact that it is great in almost everyway. The only way to win this suit is to play safe or ask your partner to rush into the wing zero early game. Either ways, it is still going to be a pain in the ass to fight against it.
  7. Try enlighten me. I am just pointing out the old and major problems of both Nus 0_0 which is they both dont excel in anything as 3K. With no burst. Hell, even my SF has a 330 Death combo that has good cut resistance during EX BURST.
  8. But they both don't excel in anything. They are not the best mid range. Not the best melee. Not the best far range. Not the best speed and boost. No instant burst. Not really good at chasing. Not really good at running away. Not really good at supporting. Not really good at attacking.... They have a little of everything. But they have nth strong. For example. S.Freedom would have more beam rifles and strong AC for self protection. AB gerobi for burst and CS which deals 130 damage. 4/6B for melee defend. Nu and Hi-Nu just dont have any of those. And i am speaking of S.F a B rank in FB. They are just rx-78 with funnels in my opinion
  9. It is actually not just a landing punish. If the wing zero is punishing my landing, i won't say a word about it. The thing is that wing zero TV can just dash dash dash into close range and use CSA which is extremely hard to dodge due to the fact that Wing Zero EW's Main does not really track at all while wing zero TV has decent tracking. They nerfed the tracking in MB but it is still a pain in the ass to play against. Not to mention that Wing ZeroTV has a 5 second duration Zero System. 5 Seconds to land an attack on the opponent is more than enough. Not to mention the fact that you cant really do anything about it during the zero system. All you can do is run for your life. Your partner cannot help you and you cannot really help yourself. Another reason why its retardedly broken. If the development team really wants give every MS their uniqueness by following the anime.... Destiny should be able to cut tracking every second during Boost Dash. Freedom should have a forward dash ability that dodges every projectile except gerobi. Wing Zero EW and Epyon should have Zero System like Wing Zero TV. Fall of Axis should cover up the entire screen.. and a lot more. Actually, the truth is that the development team only try to make their favorite MS strong. It was mentioned in a lot of interviews. Dating back from Next to Maxi Boost. They love G series so they tried to make melee suit stronger by giving them Next Dash/Rainbow Dash/Crazy Priority/Projectiles/Assist... Not to mention that they never test their game. They don't know how to play the game. Which is why no one is willing to play the new MB anymore in JP. They lowered the price to 50yen per game and the chairs are still empty most of the time.(Which never happened before except for GVG the first game) The balance is just broken. There are suits with completely useless stuffs and suits with the best stuffs everywhere. Anyways. Wing zero is just insanely broken and needs more nerf lol. At least change the speed of AC to the speed of EW's CS. Or else Wing Zero TV is the reason why no one plays EW version anymore. EW is just bad compared to TV version..
  10. Lol this is still one of the most retarded suit in game. Still one of the most retarded in maxi boost. Fought against a lot of wing zero and it is always a pain in the ass. A lot of players simply dash into close range and CS>8b. I still cannot find a good way to counter that. I think MS with strong melee can counter that. E.G master,00-q, X1FC. Need to find a way

  12. It won't happen unless they change it the next game. It will be bad since people can abuse the overdrive system. And 1K cost can be instantly killed against overdrive enemies.
  13. Its all because of the over drive and ex burst. Lets say I am using a 2K which has around 600 HP 1K cost = 300 health. Or I use a 1.5K which has 500 HP 1K cost = 333.33 300X2=600 333X2=666 Cost wise. I have more HP as 1.5K which means longer EX burst. Now that we have the over drive system. Any 1.5K can do huge damage. Not the mention that more lifes = more Drive. 1.5K has 4 lifes which means 4 drives and around 4 burst too since you gain EX meter for dying. Lets say we have a 3K+1.5K team. 750+750+500+500=2500HP(No cost over) or a 3K+2K team. 750+750+600+300=2400HP(I am not sure about the health after cost over for 2K) 1.5K is still better in terms of health. Even if the 1.5 got killed first. The 3K MS would still have more HP after cost over or just let the 1.5K go front and die 3 more times. Which is still better since you still have more over drive and ex burst. They slightly buffed the mobility of all 2K cost. They buffed the ex meter and over-drive build up to try to solve the problem. 2Ks are not "that worthless now" compared to 1.5k but still a little bit bad. Now the reason why 2.5K is because that they have some really broken MS. Like Susanoo, Banshee, Tallgeese III...etc..etc.. And why are they good? because they are arguably sometimes even better than some 3Ks. Susanoo can use trans-arm in the beginning of the match and throw pizza the entire game. Pizzas under trans-arm is extremely painful and he can combo his trans-arm melee after the pizza. Now that susanoo has F drive. He can go Trans-arm in the beginning of the game. F-drive when he has it and F-Drive plus EX burst plus trans-arm after cost over.(Which is a little bit broken.) So the reason 2.5K is good = They have broken suits. Extremely broken suits. Now why is 3K the most balanced? After the nerfs to sinanju and zabanya. We have no more S ranks other than zabanya. Even tho some suits are still slightly OP(Wing ZeroTV, Sinanju, 00-R, 00-Q) We have a lot of A ranks for now which is a good sign. They even have to add A- A+ onto the tier list for 3K cost now due to the fact that a lot of them are pretty close. But the B ranks of 3Ks are still awaiting buffs to be more viable. P.S. Lower cost Suits has longer overdrive. So 1500s overdrive can be really scary.   14. Actually According to the japanese players S= Overpowered + awaiting nerf A=Strong MS (Or what they call balanced for now) Can be seen in competitions. B= Ok MS but weak. Still seen in competitions. just not as much as S ranks and A ranks. (awaiting buffs) C=Shit MS. Useless. Awaiting buffs. D=Unplayably bad. 3K cost are more balanced for now. We have more As and only one S in maxi boost now. But if they nerf zabanya to the ground Wing Zero (TV) will become the king of all 3K. 2.5K needs some work. S ranks 2.5K are too strong. Sometimes even better than a 3K. 2K = worthless in MB. They did buff them 2 weeks ago but they are still weak and worthless. 1.5K= Replaced former 2k in some ways..

  16. Dashing only works if the opponent is kinda far and recklessly doing melee>rainbow. But if the opponent gets near you the best way is to back step cancel and shoot them in the face. If your BR hits them then>BR>BR while dashing backwards at the same time. Not to mention that, even if master is spamming 4/6B>rainbow at mid range. You can still step or step cancel mid range to cut its tracking. If you Dash, you will realize that master will only get closer and closer. But if you step or step cancel it. The melee won't track anymore and it wont travel as far compared to you dashing away from it. P.S The guide is a little bit wrong. You won't be turn your back on the opponent just cuz you step backwards. You will be still facing the opponent which wont affect your BR.
  17. The best way is to step cancel backwards. Do not dash. Remember this is the first rule of gundam vs. Never Dash when you are in melee range. You need to cut the tracking of the melee attack. Step cuts tracking. Back Step cancel +beam rifle should do the job. At higher level gameplay we actually counter melee by using melee too. We know that which melee has better priority. But if you area using a suit that has no good melee priority moves. You will need to use step cancelling.
  18. Actually that is what we see the most at high level competitive plays. Just like how we see jap players abuse zero system. The most frustrating kind of player is that kind. Picks Wing Zero (TV) Attack only when zero system is up. Run until Zero system is up again. Loop. That is why they changed the zero system to once per suit in maxi boost. Its game breaking. As for defensive master players. Its happening everyday, cuz master has good charge shot and a lot of stuffs to throw at the opponent. They tend to wait a long time until going in. Those are the players who don't wanna make mistakes at all and often lead to time over. But then of course we dont see those happening much on NICO. Those players are mostly players who cannot allow themselve to lose no matter what lol.
  19. I main zabanya now. Zabanya is very good as a mid range supporting MS. Its a little overpowered for now and the japs are asking for nerfs already. The bits on zabanya are the best. 4/6B bits are kinda OP now. Missiles are OK, but most importantly you have unlimited sniper shots now(CS) making it a one hit down monster. The AC gerobi has good tracking and it blocks projectile from the front, making it extremely good to punish the landing opponent.
  20. Backwards might not chain the BR. Its slower to fire on most MS cuz they need to twist their body in order to shoot. Try left and right. Dont use back unless the enemy is really close to you
  21. Not really... but lol too much to explain :P There is no defensive or offensive in my opinion. Its the player that matters after all. You can be offensive with ranged attacks too. Or defensive as an epyon. There is no such category. The playstyle should change according to the situation you are in. I bet you haven't seen the most annoying type of players. The defensive master gundam who never attacks.
  22. You can use it under two situation. The first is to use it to attack the opponent. Its fast and deals a lot of damage. Second method is to use it just to get away from situations such as cost over.

  24. As for tactical advice. The Blue Frame can adapt to almost any situation. You A>AB combo is good for quick down mid range. Your sword throw can be used to defend yourself against strong melee MS. BC moves are great if the opponent is landing near you. I use the BC moves to counter attack melee suits too. Since during your first BC hit you will be in a superarmor state. Your melee attacks are strong compared to other 2K MS. BD8B is a good way to start a combo. 4/6B is fast and has decent priority, very good for rainbow step war. 2B provides a lot of mobility helping you evade enemy projectiles just like exia's BC. Overall the blue frame is suitable for all kinds of tactics. It can be either front or back. It can be used for melee tactics or shooting tactics. Most of its weapons and moves are useful. Japs think that blue-frame is a rank-A 2K suit.
