I could drive through the amazon in that tank....but it'll cost me my next 4 paychecks and ill need to replace the engine every 50 miles and ty zong i'd fricken love to go to season's beatings for some gear, does UFO still have the guilty cabinet? -
Generally it seems that you can make adjustments at different parts of your combo (like delaying a wolf 236X or superjumping instead of normal jumping) to accommodate doing one C dash over another. There are midscreen combos that you'll have to do 5C to reach them. On the opposite side tho, it seems like you'll tend to hit the ground faster after the 2nd [w] j.B from doing the 7C dash (due to extra downward momentum). This can be important (and helpful, maybe even necessary sometimes) in hitting the stand B, especially late in combos where they could otherwise tech or where the timing gets extremely tight. IMO the main point is it makes the [h]5B easier...

sigh, so much bad publicity... the city has millions of inhabitants, no need for one label on all of em =/ -
some things that tend to make it easier for me is super jumping into XX > 236X > 236X> 7C... delaying the first or second w[j.B] as long as i can and having the opponent be about even or below me when I go to do the 7C, if there any good distance above you go for 5C or odds are the second [w]b will miss or they'll be able to tech before you land and hit them. all of these are important yet none are required...i've started opting for 7C over 5C into [w]j.b whenever I can because if feels like if you're off in one of these categories you can use one of the others to compensate for it on the fly

This is nothing but combo vid fodder, but its neat tager only fatal counter... (costs 50 bar, build 50 meter) 6B > 2C > j.d [w]b 3C j.b > 5d [h]b > j.d [w]b 3C j.b > 5d [h]b > j.d [w]b 3C j.b > 5b < j.d [h]b > j.214b~d > [w] 236a > 236b > 7C > j.b > j.b > 5d [h] b > 632146D or 6B > 2C > j.b 3C j.b > 5b > j.b 3C j.b > 5b > j.b 3C j.b > 5b > j.b > j.214b~d > 236a > 236b > 7C > j.b > j.b > 5b > 632146D (i hate annotating valk combos, so that second one has all attacks from wolf form in bold) interesting thing to note, the distortion at the end is techable about 3 hits before the end, now most people wouldn't tech at all here and just eat the last of it, letting it blue beat, some will be mashing out and will eat the last hit after teching (if they don't tech the combo does 6300~, if they do tech and block the combo does about 5500~, if they tech and don't block they take the 5500~ and then another 2500 from the last hit)

oh hey, more people posting here ummm, i could probably host this weekend (B-boy i live like midway in between midnight and monsters so its not really closer for you i dont think >.>) if people post up or text me if saturday or sunday would be better I can get something ironed out. If it's sunday it'll have to be earlier than it was last time

I'm back in town...who all shows up to midnight nowadays?
-
the wolf cancel into j.B can get jabbed out, will beat 2A's, not 5A's tho, might trade if they don't IB, but will lose to most 6A's

i'm not 100% on this, but noel's standing D is mostly upper body invuln i believe. Valk's 6C is a high attack, while his 5B will reach much lower than it looks like it will, hitting her where it matters. Valk will have plenty of even/positive match-ups, I think his biggest obstacles will really be the top 3 as bang, litchi, and ragna have safer approaches and safer mix-ups, or Carl who can lock down characters with no good reversal options. (ragna's approach being better is arguable) Even though its not safe, valk can cross the screen as fast as hazama which means something if you're given the opportunity. He'll have a much better time dealing with zoning characters than say makoto or tager. Hell, his 5C reaches half the screen. rachel will be a bitch once we get a rebalance, it can be a bitch now, but with damage the way it is, it evens itself out arakune gets to be arakune in this match, but at least you can chase him in the air unlike most characters oh and mu...mu is a broke, retarded character, someday the world will see and acknowledge this.

do you really find valk combos easier than haku combos? wow you can combo off a 236A counter, other than that, not that i know of, its safe tho which is important 5C > 236C combos on crouchers (6B 2 hit will force crouch, thats probably how you're getting it) 236B >236b will net you a little extra damage off a 3C when you're not in range for pick-up, and the second 236B can be a frame trap as most people don't expect you to do the second hit on block...think ragna's hellsfang~D follow

combo, works anywhere tested on ragna and tager, gotta be real deep to get the first 3 hits [h] 5B > 2C > 6B > 5B > 5C > 236C > 9D [w] > j.A > (delay) j.B > 5B > 236B > 236B > 7C > D [h] j.B > j.214B > 9D [w] > D [h] j.B > dj.B > dj.C > 236236C 56XX dmg, 50% bar, builds 53% bar works on more if you take out the starting 5B (and deals over 6k that way), can also start the combo with j.B > j.C into the initial 2C

if tsujikawa is the slayer i think he is, then while his tao is amazing, i'll always remember him as the slayer that turns all his stand kicks into 80% life.

The plan is for saturday, starting at around 6. Was originally gonna try to get jeff to bring a second console/TV, but still havent gotten ahold of him. So if anyone wants to volunteer a set-up it would be much apreciated. I may actually be able to get a second moniter up on another PS3's, but it wouldn't have sound and I only have one copy of the game. People can stay probably til at least midnight, after that its kinda up to my roommates on when I'll have to kick people out. Other than that, i'll be messaging people who pm'ed/texted me a little later today. we can try to accommodate some things, but personally I don't have a 360 and if you play on a specific controller/pad, i suggest you bring one.
-
k, sucka, got your text, ill msg u tomorrow can't get ahold of jeff atm, but probably happenin saturday

Jeff wanted to get some games in this weekend, so we'll probably try to get blaz up at my apartment on saturday or sunday if you're interested. Should be able to get 2 set-ups goin. You can meet jeff there, he's been goin to midnight every week so you've probably seen him even if you don't know him. I think he'll be bringin another guy, and my roommate will play, and if you have more people let em know. This is an open invite for blazblue (or guilty gear :D) to anyone that wants to show. Text me at 832-334-8797 with a name or somethin and i'll get you an address and a time once we have that worked out. I live on the NW side of houston. Get people, tho I know jan will be in japan this weekend, I might try to air the SBO stream during this if I can get through their credit card system in japanese.
