j.P > j.BR j.K > j.BR j.S > j.BR and j.D > j.BR all work too taking bar management into account (aka, you have no meter) off of J.D > j.BR, most non-heavyweights can be combo'd without an FRC and if you're landing j.H, if you're low enough afterwards, you can do j.H > 2H or 5H > GV ...sidewinder combos you may need to 5K or 2S after the J.H depending on how high up it connected hell, there are a ton of options as j.H leads to all of sol's ground options. In the corner combo into 6P imo, on the ground if you're deep you can just do something silly like 5K > j.BR> 5K > j.BR > 5K > j.BR... (yes that's doable on most standing characters) I think what it boils down to is you won't be trying to hit-confirm the first hit of J.H as oki unless you're trying to go for the hidden air-dash trap, as you'll wind up just spending bar to throw yourself away from the enemy if they block. If you're in a situation you know it will hit just do j.D > SW. If you're not, I think most of the time landing and confirming into blockstring or combo is the better option. Sol's should now how to combo into clean hit grand viper nowadays. Sol gets to throw away bar on mix-up/pressure/VV RC because nowadays he doesn't need it so badly on combos

just because you can beat scrubs at tourneys when you play nothing but monster hunter in your spare time doesn't make you a good player

i fixed that by running in compatibility mode, windows 98/me, as well as chekcing all the other options about allowing it to take over my system on another note, if in windows 7 and u have a slideshow background, disable that slideshow while u play it as it will cause the pallet issue with each changing of the background going on behind the scenes and ill fight kyousuke for MAH kotomi

Lookin to be saturday afternoon/evening again, in the katy area, text/call me at 832-334-8797 for directions if you need em i got a stick but i dont have the tools necessary to open it up and put in the parts i want >.> but i can make due other than that i have a few ps2 pads that are all kinda iffy sometimes, i suggest bringing what you want to play on tho also have a ps3 with tekken 6, blazblue, and ssf4 and maybe one stick if i decide to operate on it and put all the pieces back together. also have a 360 with nothing...if u want to play on it you'll need to bring a game and controller i wanna get ah3 when it comes out but if anything is gonna stop me itll be [saki's dp + near infinite boost meter towards the end of matches] god that gets old REAL fast

arcana board broke last i heard, and i dont think they were gonna pay to fix it. They took out gear a while back cuz people stopped playing it at the arcade a little before street fighter 4 came out as far as i know PZ still had weekly street fighter tourneys on thursday nights, that'd probably be the biggest turnout there on wednesdays there are street fighter 4 get togethers (and maybe blazblue?) at smilys sports bar in sugarland (5 dollar cover fee, 18 and up) tuesdays i think a decent # of people go to monsters arcade in NW houston, for SF4 and blazblue as far as i know the only people that play gear in this town anymore hang around my apt from time to time (and thats not many), and i still need to get a replacement ps2 stick I dont go to pz much at all anymore, and last i did, i just played a run thru of the fate unlimited codes story mode and left

mmm, im half surprised we have a thread theres a host of blaz players actually, the only one i know of that posts here gets banned a couple times a week they meet up around town tho theres not much in the way of gear sadly other than that you can hit up the arcade for ss4AE or tekken comp this thread's not really the place to be tho

Agreed with GG to sat, BB to fri On you, but this is the only major i've frequented more than once and I remember two years in a row now gear putting blaze to shame, and it would BE a shame not to continue the tradition. Hell even at NEC gear got a bigger turnout, not to mention more hype finals than SSF4. I saw people goin to sleep watching the top 8 in blaz, only hype was some ec/wc grudge shit that could have happened in any game.

i personally wont be able to make it out to that, focus, because i have this disease where if i go a whole weekend without guilty gear i'll die best of luck tho
