dubious curve indeed tele cancellable on block 6P prolly doesn't have as much invuln as the old one but damn it looks fast So much new stuff to work with, all my concerns are gone. Can't wait to take this to the lab

I have this sneaking suspicion that 2H is gonna be buffed.

the set-up he has going into the 6HS > Wildthrow is so hilariously specific that if it was ever landed on me i would give him the win for the whole match regardless of if he ever hit me again... On the note of just plain ol 6H > WT, no this is really not a good set-up. 6H is arguably sol's best starter cuz he can really do whatever he wants so why prorate your combo with a throw. The vid was just a swag combo. off 6H the best bet is usually a nice unprorated bandit bringer, and grand viper is guaranteed if you're good at clean hitting it. Both will net you more damage without spending any meter.

Ya, in the original shoryuken thread they had put f.s > 6H and I was hype for a few minutes still, tired of having to ad-lib on characters like axl that c.S(3) > 6P > 6H whiffs on speculative tensionless punish that I think would work on most mid/lightweights if not all characters c.S > 6H > run 5P/5K > 6P > 6H... its not a huge upgrade really but I'll be happy as long as c.S > 6H combos on opponents in the air. Should save us some proration in combos. But venom didn't need help...sad about freeze ball though

A. Jumping and doing a jS after the 6H - far too late, you're not only doing the move before it ends, but before you run out of cancellable frames. The vertical charge actually has a small bit of leeway i think. B. Not doing the 6H - this is actually probably the closest to correct. You have to be holding down before the 6H is on the screen C. Doing the 6H and maybe pulling off the CR but it doesn't seem right for some reason. Like it happened to slow. Hard to explain. - 6H recovered and you let a naked CR fly, too late again, but if you hit early with the 6H it probably accounts for the weird feeling You just have to do it over, and over, and over...and then when you finally hit it try to remember that feeling. Then do it over, and over, and over. This is a really good way to wear the crap out of your controller btw.

It might feel like you'll never get it down, but once you finally get used to it it'll be like riding a bike.

Alrighty people. The least responsible person in the world is back! Kinda... So, I'm hype for this game again, and pushing everyone I know to play. But I can't record my PS2 Anymore. Worst case scenario, once I can pull my crap off my old hard drive, I at least get a list of all eh set-ups I had out there. Best case scenario, I go buy all new recording equipment (Which I'm looking to do now that I'm taking care of my money issues). And see if it'd be more feasible to do it in the near future, or wait for the HD release and record from my ps3. Gonna do whatever I can to support this game when it hits. (And I will be attached to this game like it was a goddamn pacemaker.) So ya, probably not gonna see vids soon, but you can consider this thread "mini-resurrected".

They have gatherings for different games at PZ wed-friday nights. There's a crowd at Dave n Busters on Richmond thursday nights. MvC3 and SF are the main events there. I can't ever get anyone to play GG, I got to play this weekend cuz I had a friend come from Louisiana. But couldn't get a single houston player to join... Went in the lab this morning with Venom though. Felt good.

Got to play gear this weekend. Felt like i won the Mega Millions. WEMP do u go to pz or any other weekly houston crap. I got a spare copy of AC for ps2 that i'd be willing to donate to someone who would give it the love and attention it so rightfully deserved.

What games do you play? There's a facebook group for houston that gets a lot more attention than this thread, let me know if you want an invite. There's a few people that'll play Blaz in this town. I wish someone would play gear...
