Well to be fair, I hadn't played many good Mus in CSE to begin with, so I have no actual basis for comparison except that the complaining against her picked up in CP considerably. Which is ironic because I actually fought a few good Mus by then.

The problem with Slayer is due mostly to the system mechanics and the nerfs to his more bullshit viable offensive options. He's not terrible, just not as "wtf" as a lot of characters above him.

The formats for their sets are not quite long enough. 2 out of 3 in the opinion of many does not determine the better player, and not very many top tier international players travel to EVO.

Of course if it means a kill combo then by all means go for it

May is actually pretty good, the problem is that the characters above her outshine her in many ways, and while she does have good spacing and mid range control, her neutral can be outclassed by a lot of the upper tiers.
