I don't have a PS4, but people were saying you should be able to get a free 14 day subscription of PS+, so you shouldn't need to buy anything. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Honestly at this point there is a huge amount of people thinking he will be a spellcaster. So they will have to subvert both the wild brawler and the spellcaster thing to really achieve true subversion. I kinda don't see it happening; I also expect a spellcaster with a super that turns on ragified lion mode.

They end when one of your 3 characters is dead... so yeah... 3 combos a game.

One of the things I really like about GG is that there are actual lengthy combos (unlike say SF) but even the long ones are (at least relatively) over fairly quickly. I really wanna play Ramlethal but I too think her combos need to be sped up somehow, as I'm one of those people who quickly gets bored and has their eyes glaze over when I'm sitting there motionless waiting for a combo to end like in Skullgirls or Marvel (a big reason as to why I don't even bother playing those games anymore, among many others).

Are there really enough people to form a noticeable group who are pedophilic towards trans individuals...? Also Bridget self-identifies as male... so I don't bloody understand how people refuse to accept the gender as male... Also Order Sol is amazing and I would love to see the visual flare his moveset gets in Xrd. Sin will by no means be a replacement to that HOS booty. I feel like if I ever go back to +R after Xrd is out it would be exclusively to play as HOS and ABA.

This is false. It's simply that nobody could tell the difference. And I believe ElvenShadow himself played the PS3 version at TGS and recorded it.

Actually... no, you're right - it's a decent amount in relative terms (which still isn't saying much). It just happens that the charge moves all correspond to characters I don't play at all and that skews my perspective. I'd still like it if Leo had 1 or 2 (or 3) charge moves.

Ummm... I just hope he has some novel mechanic associated with him that we haven't seen in GG before. That's really all I want from new characters. Giving him some charge moves also wouldn't be that bad as GG has a dearth of those.

Not as "What factors are behind Aksys not yet deciding on a release date announcement for a large region 7 weeks away from the game's Asian release?" K then...

Cue people leaving their PS3/4 on for 100 hours at a time. And then everyone who isn't already a fan of Guilty Gear would probably be satisfied with playing a demo with all characters 10 times and never buying the game. Fuck that. Just settle with being teased.

My entire point was if you have a PS4 but don't have PS+ you're doing it wrong, so limited trials being PS+ only is really a barely-existent issue, which only comes up when we try to get stuff from other regions. I don't have to care about it though, seeing as I don't have a PS4 anyway. My concern is still 100% focused on us still not having a US release date.

To play online multiplayer on PS4 you need PS+ anyway. It doesn't make sense to have a PS4 and to not have PS+ paid for at the year-level. Regional PS+locked demo mooching is pretty much the only time when not having PS+ becomes an issue.

Why mostly 100%? Do you tend to have to combo into them from super or RC or something? Are the non-hellfire IK properties the same as in +R by the way?

Can somebody remind me how IKs work at low health again? If I remember right it becomes possible to combo into them? How does that work exactly - do they get less start-up?

I don't care if it's Justice or a puppy operating a Justice-mech. As long as the eventual character releases and its playstyle reminds me of GGAC+R Justice I'm hyped.

I actually really like her +R version even without the missile-thingies so I do hope they somehow manage to maintain some of that essence if they decide to make her super airdash-jumpy again.

Oh Buddha I reaaaally would love that - but I don't see it happening until DLC starts rolling out. Uhhm... Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Justice seen as one of the worst characters in GGAC+R?

Good stuff, I really liked the throw article. However, as somebody who was unfamiliar with GG's throw mechanics (my mentality used to be throws are things you do by pressing two buttons and all throws have animations), I found the 6/4K+H thing suuuuuuuuuper helpful to make my throw game not utter crap. I used to be really horrible at landing throws, so I really wanted to practice it. However, when you go out of your way to throw more than you should intentionally, you end up throwing out a ton of 6/4H and being punished, as you've said. Having a K come out instead of the H often saved my ass during this period when I was trying to squeeze throws into any situation I thought it was possible, because it does get annoying when you continuously get punished while trying to learn something new. The K+H trick allowed me to keep annoyance at my failures managable for the most part.

Wow, Leo on the cover art. Didn't see him being a rising superstar to that degree. And training mode while waiting for online? THANK YOU SO FUCKING MUCH.
