  1. My feelings on Xrd at the moment: No Bridget, no buy. Seriously, I use no one else in GG but Bridget. If he's not in the game, then I can't get hype for it.
  2. CP 2.0 is looking to be the worst patch in a fighting game in a long time. With the way they're changing characters, they might as well take out Negative Warning at this point. It's clear, with this patch, that BB is no longer an offensive game.

  4. Last night, I was overreacting. I'll wait until the final and official change list for CP 2.0 comes out. Some of the changes are ridiculous, yes, but who knows, maybe it's for the best.
  5. Yes, he needs just one buff: the CS2/EX properties for Cantabile. The current 623C is just not the same since it doesn't combo the same anymore. :'(
  6. Of course I'm going to wait for the final confirmed changes, but going by how they currently are, am I really going to want to play my main and subs in CP 2.0? Only time will tell.
  7. If most of these changes stay, I may as well drop BB entirely and go to P4A(U) full time. Some of the changes make no sense. In a balance, you're supposed to nerf the characters that need it (Hazama, Litchi. any other top tier) and the buff the ones that need it (Carl, Tsubaki, Makoto). I know anime games aren't really known for their places and places an emphasis on tiers, but this isn't Marvel. Marvel is supposed to be a broken mess. BlazBlue, I saw differently, in that every character CAN be successful if you know how to use them, no matter their tier. But now it's apparent that with this game, tier whoring in acceptable. I'm about to be done.

If something isn't listed or incorrect please reply to this thread. 5c 6c doesnt' combo on air hit, but still works on crouching. Has jump cancel on hit. Counterhit spins opponent, should be able to do 5c CH 5d 6c. Seems to have slower startup. 2c air normal hit launches higher, more untechable time. Can't jump cancel, but 2c 2d jump combos. Counterhit very similar to air hit. 3c jump cancel on block still there. 6b first hit mid, second only overhead. First hit much faster, works like lambda's 4b in CS. can gatling 2b 6b, 2c 6b, 5c 6b, 6b 3c, can special cancel. Has fatal counter, knockdown on air hit (combo with 2c otg). Can stein cancel first hit but not second, can't gatling from first hit. 6c seems to blow back slower, but following up with ikutachi seems the same. j.2c faster (j.b j.2c combos), less untech time? can be emergency teched, not overhead when done at low height (or whiffs on crouching when done rising, not sure about translation). stein cancel on block ok. 63214b float is different, can't cancel into a stein. 236d faster and movement is different. stays on stein longer before moving to the next one? 214d faster? 63214c charges faster or level 2 wallbounces. level 1 doesn't wallbounce on counterhit. blowback shorter, can combo easily after RC. Max charge is faster too. Stein shots only reach about half screen (charged and uncharged), slower to fire. stein recovery is faster, can cancel into C normals and 6b (air steins too). Air steins can't be jump cancelled? Can't be airdash cancelled? Charged stein only one hit. Overdrive doesn't cause steins to auto-fire, steins stay when it ends. Throw can be special cancelled, OD cancelled.   9. BlazBlue isn't hard to play, tbh. It's rather enjoyable, but I do prefer P4A(U) because it's not as strict. I don't play much Guilty Gear, but I picked up and only use a pretty hard character. But I know someone at my university is going to import UNIBEL, so I can't wait to try that out before I get my own copy in 2015.
  10. Haha, you guys are right, 22[D] wasn't unblockable. Just got it from the other thread. But the 6C nerf is pretty...confusing. The move is already slow to come out, so why can't we no longer jump cancel from it anymore? That makes ZERO sense. I remember using 6C as a launcher (barely) so I could do my jB > jC > j236X > j214X combos. Blah!
  11. Tsubaki: 6C no longer jump cancels. WTF?! Why in the hell would they nerf that move?! It already comes out slow as hell, but the fact it no longer cacels makes it near useless now IMO. Smfh

  13. I'd rather be Tsubaki tier than Makoto tier. And to make matters worst, I think Makoto is getting even more nerfs. Hopefully, Tsubaki gets some buffs as well.
  14. If Carl got some buffs, I'd be very happy. The only buffs I want for Carl is more health and combo from Cantabile again, kind of like in CS2/EX. Let Taokaka (and possibly Celica) have the lowest health, because Carl doesn't deserve 9500. Tao has mobility and Celica has easy combos and insane damage. Carl needs buffs.

  16. Can't say I'm on the Margaret hype train, as I don't have extended time with her. Mostly excited for Junpei (for baseball), Ken/Koro (puppet like character), and Rise (my P4 waifu).
  17. It would seem that the CP 2.0 patch is trying to nerf all the top tier characters. This pleases me, especially if Hazama and Litchi get nerfed. These two are my most hated match ups.
  18. Lol, you know what I meant. After Persona 2, only Igor was a mainstay. P3 introduced us to Liz and Theo, P4 introduced Maragret and Marie. A lot of P1/P2 things got left behind, and since PQ brings in the time travel storyline AND is canon, there are now multiverses. >_>
  19. Ah, I was looking for this thread. When it comes to scenes in NC, 2D fighters obviously are the most popular choices. It's one of the reasons why I picked up anime fighting games, because a lot of my friends at my university play BlazBlue and Guilty Gear, but many of them avoid Persona 4 Arena like the plauge.

  21. I still wish that every special move could have A/B/C/D again instead of just Aequum and Aeterna. I'm not really technical when it comes to frames or whatnot, but I was handy that each special move had different properties based on the button used. Oh how I miss my 5BB > 2BB > 5CC > 236A > 214A > 22A in CS2.
  22. Might as well make the Velvet Room playable at this point, since, with the exception of Theodore, all the assistants are playable. I'd love a remix to Aria of the Soul.
  23. CP 2.0 needs to nerf Litchi and Hazama. Nerf Makoto and Tager even further. Buff Carl and give him 10,000 life and let me combo from Cantabile again.
  24. Yeah, I've been reading that Chaos is a low tier character, but I didn't expect him to be considered the worst character in the game. I'll definitely watch some gameplay videos of Nanase to see if I would like to pick her up. I'll probably get to play this game soon, but I won't purchase it myself until it gets localized in 2015.
