Hibiki is likely going to be my 3rd sub come CF. Loving the character from the footage I've seen.

Those combos looked delicious, especially once they got to the Carl and Ada sandwich combos. CF Carl is shaping up quite nicely.

What's this I hear about Hyde getting to be Yu Narukami tier? :D

With my limited time spent with CP Extend, I actually walked away feeling a bit better knowing that I can still Carl Clover. Did he get hit with some nerfs? Yes. However, I can still use him effectively and some of the buffs he got really helped his game. Still my main and I still love playing the character. Easily still the best puppet character that Arc Sys has developed and it's such a shame that they can't emulate this style of puppeteer again.

I got to try out CP Extend and I just don't like what they did to Tsubaki at all. I think I'm going to drop her and start playing Nu-13 instead. It's kind of sad, because I really did enjoy Tsubaki from CS2 til CP, but her CP Extend version just isn't doing it for me. I just don't understand why nerf a character that already struggled? Were they trying to get people to look at Izayoi more, since storyline wise, she's supposed to be the more powerful and true version of Tsubaki? Ugh, I just don't understand.

Got the game on release day via PSN and having a blast with Hyde so far. I haven't played much, but my friend asked me how much I've played, because I was able to do some basic combos with Hyde. I really enjoy the character.

Yeah, this is definitely going to get a PS4 release, especially with those graphics. I've always thought Dissidia would be good on home consoles. It's really the only 3D arena fighting (action RPG) that I bother to play.

Well, the game will touch down in America in about two weeks, so when I get my hands on it, I'll be spending the entire day with the game learning the system and Hyde in particular.

So basically, get my opponent in the corner and go ham. Lol

Doesn't bother me, because it's something I wouldn't have even noticed unless it was pointed out. I just wish the game had an English dub, because with a sub, you never know if what the characters are saying in Japanese has been accurately translated in English subtitles. But I guess I understand why this game didn't get an English dub, since it is a budget release title for the PS3.

Yeah, I'm with everyone else. I didn't think this would get an American release, let alone a physical retail release. I expected it to be digital only at best.

UNIEL is coming to America in a few weeks and after thinking about it, I'm going to main Hyde. I was originally going to main Chaos, but I feel like I'm going to enjoy Hyde a lot more. I normally don't use the beginner, shoto, jack of all trades characters in fighters, but there's something different about Hyde. I'm assuming on tier lists, Hyde is usually in the middle. What should I expect as a Hyde player?

So...nobody in the game now is C tier?

So what's the game plan with Mu-12 in CPEX? I used to play her as more of an all out zoner, but now it would seem that won't be the case with CPEX?

So is Rise better in this patch or about the same? I know she got some great buffs, especially for D attacks and her DP.

Me, personally, I'd love Yuri Lowenthal to voice Chaos. I think he'd be perfect. As for Hyde, call me cliche, but I'd really love if Johnny Yong Bosh voiced him.

Xrd might be trash without Bridget, but Zato-1 and Eddie are very good and do deserve the top spot.

What voice actors do you think (or would want) to voice certain characters? I thought this might be a nice, fun thread, since UNIEL is just getting an English sub.

Well, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. Although the game is "old" by console standards, it is new on PC/Steam. And at least it is the Extend version.

So now I have someone to play as in Xrd. Bridget, forgive me. T_T

So I have questions about this character. Now, everybody knows I am a HUGE Bridget fan. However, when I did play with Zato-1...I was kind of interested. I read somewhere that he's sort of like a puppet character like Carl, Ken, and Chaos. How true is this? Because if he plays similar to these characters, then I may actually have someone to play as in Xrd, since Bridget probably won't be coming back. T_T

I guess, in a way, they got off lucky. They don't have to purchase the same game twice and they get the most updated version.

I bring up Bridget a lot because it was Bridget that actually got me interested in Guilty Gear in the first place. When I saw the design and learned more about him, my interest in the series peaked and I had to play it. Thus, I sat down with friends and learned the mechanics of the games and then went on to learn Bridget overall. Needless to say, I put Bridget on a pedestal because he was my gateway into Guilty Gear. The character was just so different from most characters I would main in other 2D fighters like Street Fighter and KOF and his style is just fun, especially in a game as fast as Guilty Gear. So sorry if it seems like the only reason I like Guilty Gear is Bridget, but that is not true. He is a LARGE reason why I like GG, but that's only because he is fun to play with due to the game's fighting mechanics and fast paced action.
