I did that and got wacked with a grim reaper lol

Not positive, that's for sure it can still lose to stuff it just seems + but it's not
-
Correctly spaced j.2C is + 623A isn't + it can still lose to a few things(it's a frame trap for a huge portion of the cast though) Lynchpin i believe is actually positive on block... 236+B is positive for sure I think that's it?

Only projectile she has is skewer techincally, I had found that out in akatuski matches rofl, remember when i said i lost my starbucks at tournament it was too an orie(actually it was gord who knocked me completely out but still, she won the tournie) anywho, the only move she actually has that's threatening is her stab the perfect range is a bit further then normal starting distance. In order to close the gap quickly she has to charge the stab and you can make her eat a 66c/66b. The stab has actual invincibility until hit so you need to be weary of that. This is actually a Mu when you're at the right distance you just keep throwing out condensed glooms since she doesn't really have a projectile(she can summon her persona to do a an attack that basically holds you in place for like 50 seconds when she has bar) and then simply get in with teleports. She's also one of the few characters with a standing overhead so that somewhat makes life not fun and she's a little tricky to block again. Standard thing my friend would do is an overhead and then a low to knock me down(with the persona) in a corner. So basically this is the visual you'll see. and then with the persona since the other image isn't around you need to guess between a low/overhead so this is the overhead Orie is also a little trickier to punish since her stuff kinda pushes her out of 2a range but since your opponent will know that, simply get in their face with a j2. C and create a frame trap or simply do 41236+C in the air in order too create something she'll be stuck in and you'll be able to have a mix up of throw/low/overhead Otherwise besides this it's a really easy mu, Oh also she'll think she can just spam stab(divine thurst) but skewer will keep in check

How to deal with pressure as hilda 101 you block, wait for something unsafe and then 2a or if they spam lows j.2c into 2a, that's all she wrote Edit: We really need hilda's frame data for far i'm just guessing what's unsafe
-
Standard bnb is a block string which works quite well because it pushes then mid-screen After a 623A you can use 66C and skewer(safe block string) for another block string or go for a lynchpin/reverence pillar mixup Her teleports are just answers for people teleporting in at her or projectile spam If you see chaos at the end of the screen and the lizard walking toward you or vatisita thinking she's cute spamming projectiles full screen it works, use her c. teleport also it is unblockable in the air I also use it when i see a yuku getting ready to teleport at me and then i'm a full screen away , this also works wonders in this hilda mirror match since skewer all day can get ugly
-
Hilda has to respect 6c, that's the only thing i can tell you I don't really think hilda has any moves to beat that r1 tbh, i have to check That's the only tool she has to respect because if you try to harass her full screen you'll eat a skewer and poof dead lizard I guess you need to just go dumb and rush her, maybe do some rolls also? I actually want to face a good chaos because I dont want to believe that mu is as free as I think it is
-
someone teach me how to do this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILOS2OyWigM

I'm curious about this character, i've been told he has very lengthy frametraps but i've yet to see it (well i skewer most chaos players and kill their lizard) are there any that he has that are true block strings?
-
do people even use her b+c? Like i never see it
-
@TD I'll write how to deal with waldstien next, i literally have 5 in my scene and i'm gonna learn that mu pretty well

Any match ups people are having trouble with? This week i'm gonna try to find answers to them and gaps in people's offenses starting with linne who seems to be like +50billion when she gets in and seems to have no problem doing so either. So far lynn is only unsafe after a few moves moves and you need to extremely wary of them are (git gud @ blocking) The unsafe moves are (a version can be cancelled but is not overhead and unsafe) B overhead is safe but can be poked out of (a version can be cancelled) We should all know by now dps aren't safe (b version) Is not safe if they dash forward because fireball has longer startup, if they use the slower one they're safer If she has meter i tend to notice she goes in for the yolo overhead super so best thing to do is to wait for it, if she does her ex. fireball she's +50billion don't even try to have an answer for it Most important thing in this mu is don't punish with 2a, punish with 5a. 5a has a higher success rate of also trading with flying shallow(the jumping overhead slash)

Is there going to be more unib meet ups? I'm really enjoying this game too much to be stuck just playing it online(that makes no sense but still) -
On occasion if you do her standard bnb there is a situation where they can block her 623+A because the last hit of 2cc will no longer connect the most important thing to do at this moment is 66c 66c creates a frame trap, if your opponent blocks it you have three options. So far this only loses to ex-grim reaper. Worst that will occur is it trades and your opponent loses half their meter. 236+A makes it a safe block string If it does connect 22b will hit, also good for a mixup B lynchpin for a true 50/50 from this frame trap will not connect on normal hit of 66c If you end any combo in a throw, i'll use this one for example 623A > 3cc > lynchpin b > j.2c > a+d(2861) your opponent mid screen will do a wall bounce and you can hit them with a meaty 623B now for the combo that should end in (if you guys figure something more damaging please let me know) 623+B,(charge a), after wall bounce 66b, lynchpin A(2016) so this little set up is around 5k and you get an oki to do condensed gloom after (214+a or b) Her most damaging combo i've found sadly is 214+A, 41236+D (4853) Oki set ups after OHOHOHOHOHOHOHO After midscreen use a charged A lynch pin because 80% of the time, they're going to rush you down depending on who they use. If they're using a midscreen poking character charged lynch pin B also does the job for a salty finish 22a or 22b (22a is the better choice) Full screen use a condensed gloom (j. 214B) and after 421+C(this teleport has swords after so if you placed this correctly you're back in threatening range) Also not really tech but worth noting, people really don't expect a throw coming after a raw j.2c(make sure you space this properly or you're eating a full combo)

Can't wait for full screen spds, kappa -
I have to check how much damage my combo off it does because i end doing 623A > 3CC > Lynchpin B > 66c > 234A (edit: 2405) or 623A > 3cc > lynchpin b > j.2c > a+d (I find this leads to a really good set up for interference b) (edit:2861 last hit can be throw teched though[also biggest lynch pin] ) I'm not sure what is exactly optimised bleh ps: I'm going to write some combos/set ups I have tomorrow
-
ftfy Also, i've found out after playing with him that his 214+B's third hit is an overhead and it's relatively safe so if they're going to back dash after oki it's a good option
-
So, does anyone know a good damaging combo off of interference a?
-
She's tricky on pad, it's just weird having to hold down b Luckily i cheat with her bnb
-
He does wreck her and fair enough, since he's a nightmare to deal with i'll share a bit of tech i've found So, if he decided to get smart with grim reaper this punish works very well and it's cheap and easy 623+A,66B, B Lynchpin. While this isn't optimised at all you at least can set up a condensed gloom or j.2c into a throw or w/e Long range normals: normally i find a very quick reverence pillar(22a/b/c) does wonders(highly unlikely they'll randomly do a grim reaper for pokes) I also using skewer a lot in this match up, if he notices you're doing any sword attacks you're getting a grim reaper to the face and then he's in and that's not fun for anyone. Also anti-dispersive(41236+C) is your best friend in the match up, he has to respect it and it can beat out things with invincibility
