  1. j.C is 2D bait it works on the crossup normal too grab/command grab if they get saucy with guard points 2369D may also be 2D bait, I'm not positive though. Double bang install for the win.
  2. walk forward one step like in the usual 6C Collider Combo, I presume?
  3. ahh, I see, I didn't know that! I always just end up using landed sledges it to reset pressure/magnetism ]: well, if our local Nu player comes over I'll see what can be done off of sledge against her
  4. I picked Bang because: D Nails Guard Points manliness A very loud and obnoxious ninja, which pretty much goes against what ninjas are supposed to be BANGU BANG BANG BAAAAAANG! THE HERO OF JUSTICE!! and I play Tager on the side because THE POWER OF SCIENCE
  5. you can't just do 6A 2C
  6. Really? I think she should be in recovery as she comes down even if she cancels it (though I have yet to practice it consistently, so. X: ) Yeah, I'm in the middle of practicing the throw break atm. My only problem is I do it very early. 11 frames is a lot shorter than it sounds ]:
  7. yeah, Act Pulsar is that weird invisi-dash cancel of hers. I think the best answer is to just jump straight up and falling j.C/j.4C depending on where she landed. that 2C hurts though I think you can 3C under TK Crescent Saber, giving her a one way ticket to the corner
  8. how do I deal with Act Pulsaring shenanigans? I always fall for 5D Act Pulsar ~ anything ]:
  9. Not sure if this ones worth it but 8 stars: Dash hop 214C -> 5C -> Zantetsu -> 5C -> Renka - 5575 damage works on Arakune, need to confirm everyone else
  10. I usually do something along to lines of 5C -> 2C -> Super, or 5C -> 2C -> 6D followed up with fireknuckle or jump into whatever since they all end with pressure resets One of my favorite tricks is 5C -> 2C -> 6D -> Empty jump -> 623C
  11. I learned while playing this matchup the other night when you get an IAD in, be careful of what air normal you throw out j.C beats her AA 2C, but loses to 6A j.B beats her 6A, but loses to AA 2C both of which lead into fullscreen knockdown. X:
  12. so, lets say I do 5A 5B 2B 236D on block and run up for 623C would it be better to outright 623C them? Cause I like to do 5A *wait* 623C instead, but I fear that it might be easier to mash out of.
  13. I do not ;_; but I'd love to have some matches :3c

  14. Sort of, Jump cancelling is cancelling a move simply by jumping (often done in air combos) that costs nothing, kind of like moves that are special cancellable (i.e. cancelling Ragna's 5D into Hell's Fang). Bang's Drive moves are all jump cancellable on hit or block, but his 6D isn't special cancellable. However, Jumps in any fighting game have a miniscule (3~ frames usually) startup where the character is still considered on the ground. The idea is to jump out of 6D to cancel it, then do the 623B to cancel the jump. Like I said, I find the easiest way of doing it is to input 6D 62369B
  15. you havew to JC the 6D during your 623B command by inputting something like 5A 5B 2B 2C 6D 6239B theres a few strategies over in the "How to be a Hero" thread :3
  16. What does Bang get off of CH 3C? I've done some theorizing so far and all I got is 3C -> 2369C -> tackle super x:
  17. What are good round openers with Tager? I often find myself getting counter hit out of everything but 5C (or Sledge, if I'm fighting Noel/Arakune/Rachel/v-13)
  18. I like that idea a lot, I might try it out! Though I ended up finding a way on my own. I just set it to neutral and do 6239B as soon as I see the mark :3c
  19. Does anyone have tips on landing the 6239B during his BnB? I can get it somewhat consistently but most of the time I get an empty super jump, a TKed shuriken, or a knuckle they can tech through and its kinda frustrating >:
  20. Lowtierhero Springfield MA (East Coast)
  21. Yeah, that vid is really old. That DOES showcase what happens when you get cursed, but thats hardly a good example of the matchup as it is today. Arakune excels when he's in the air, and Jin's fabulous DP set will let you control his air movement wonderfully. You can also try to hit him out and rush him down with a projectile, and you can C/D DP his dives if you're quick as well. Unfortunately, I don't know this matchup well enough to say anything else, but its really not bad at all.
  22. nope, though most people say Ragna and Bang go 5-5 with her.
  23. Press buttons oh and Jin players are scrubs so spam tick busters and make people call you cheap
