I see what you mean. I wonder if you can block it if you fall onto it from the air...which isn't terribly likely. Haven't seen it blocked yet though. be interesting if there was a way for it to hit twice but I kinda doubt it Edit: It looks like his new spinny sword attack in the air doesn't give any orbs. oh well

I'm not sure if they coulda struggled out of the stagger in time to escape that or not but it's cool nonetheless. By the way...that new Sword move in the air...do you control where it goes? It looks so hawt

It's a shitload better than ANY DBZ game I've played. It's the only one that was good enough for me to buy myself. It's a good game, I recommend at least giving it a try. Mixups aren't that strong but at least there ARE mixups not like Tenkaiichi

wait you mean 6HS has an FRC point now? also on CH does it just knockdown or is that property different as well? (I mean like...can he combo off it without tension or anything like that on CH)

Ok thanks. Btw looks like I was wrong about the f.S causing stagger on counterhit it's actually on NORMAL hit when they step on the vomit still on the ground. See 2:36 of that match against johnny and you'll see I'm right. Now that I like! You should add that to the first post Zerite (about the stagger on the f.S when it stays on the ground).

His force break seems interesting. Can you combo into it (maybe it's not worth it even if you can)? Also wonder if it has any anti air application. I really don't know though. It looks cool. I don't even really know how force breaks work except that they take 25% tension...

I really like all the new stuff I'm seeing. I'm gonna hate what they did to 6H but I guess it can't be helped. so his f.S has more range now eh? looked like it in that johnny vid. btw did that use to cause stagger on CH? cause I saw that in the vid and I don't think it did that before (could be wrong)

Tried the 17 combo in training mode and it works there too. Does about 90 dmg. It gets damage scaled a lot since it's like a 24 hit combo. Gave Vegeta Armor Strike. Now I need to increase my cell and frieza cards so that I can steal their moves...

how could he do such a thing?! Combo I did on Goku with 17 in matches, I never bothered to look on training mode...maybe I'll play it today... ff+L > LH > LH > LH > L+B > LHH > qcf x 2 H(mash) takes a while :P go tekken juggles. very easy on the action gauge wallsmash with Vegeta sucks...I need to give him something else...hmmm but what...

I eat it too much. I don't think Buu is so good though secret character wise. Kinda wierd he was the only PS2 character playable from the get go. Granted I haven't made a card with him yet...so maybe he gets some good moves or something. At least he has gunblaze lol. Man, my bro's Piccolo is really stupid. Wall smash is so good with him. Beam cannon and Special Beam Cannon wallsplat. PWN I didn't know you could combo specials from L+B. :P btw I really like super cancel with vegeta cause in air combos you can do his Laqura gun x ? into Galick Gun for some nice damage Oh yeah I agree now that Majin Vegeta is very overpowered. His qcb+B does indeed launch but perhaps even worse is his d,u+H. Damage is insane and those things are huge.

hmmm cool which move do you think would be best for 17? the frieza one? come to think of it he could use that move since characters with stronger projectiles just plow through his...next time I play I'm gonna try that freiza move to see why it's so good... at the moment I have the Trunks move on cause it goes through energy blasts and it's like a win button against the computer lol

I suppose. It's funner with abilities and extra moves anyway so I guess it's fine. I'm glad I got some other opinions on it so now I won't feel dumb for practicing with my custom characters. My 17 has 6 action gauge bars which makes it easier to do long combos in actual matches. Just kinda reminds me of Alpha 3 for the Dreamcast you could get like "auto guarding" and I thought that was really unfair. Granted people didn't use world tour mode characters in tournies but I did just for fun with my bro sometimes and it totally destroyed crossups. btw what inherited move do you guys think is the best? I noticed in japanese vids A LOT of characters had inherited Freiza's projectile where he shoots 3 pink shots so I assume that one is really good. It probably depends on the character you are using which move is the best though. Unless there's some move that is just uber awsome no matter who is using it...not sure what that would be yet.

I'm pretty sure they were allowed but I still think these abilities are kinda crazy. It's not like I'll ever be entering a tourney for this game anyway ('cept maybe at an anime con or something). If I were making rules for a tourney for this game I really don't know what I would do cause it seems so complicated. Also...should the secret characters really be banned? It seems like a waste. They don't seem to be broken or anything...

Well not so much the moves I'm talking more about the abilities really. For example... Guard Cancel Guarded Dash(whatever it is that gives you super armor for one hit while dashing)...it just feels kinda dumb when I get hit while doing ff+L/H and I launch them anyway for big damage Super cancel(haven't experimented much with this yet) etc... I just think a lot of the higher level skills seem kinda broke. Maybe it's just me though.
