  1. I think it's better to just have a simplified explanation for the D chains. I'll do that right now.
  2. Preliminary list for Noel. Normals: Note: All of Noel's normals except for 6B, 2C, and 3C are cancellable into throw. All normals except for 3C (which cancels into Haida on hit) are drive and special cancellable on hit or block. 5A: everything 2A: 5B, 2B, 6B, 5C, 2C, 6C, Jump 6A: 5B, 2B, 6B, 5C, 2C, 3C, 6C, Jump (hit only) 5B: 2B, 6B, 5C, 2C, 3C, Jump 2B: 6A, 5B, 5C, 2C, 3C, 6C 6B: 6C, 3C, Jump (hit only) 5C: 2C, 3C, Jump (hit only) 2C: 3C 3C: none 6C: 2C, Jump (hit only) j.A: j.B, j.C, Jump j.B: j.A, j.C, Jump j.C: j.A, j.B Drives: Noel's non-special drives can cancel into any other drive or specials. Drives do not cancel into themselves (for example, you cannot do D.6C -> D.6C). D.Starters: D.Followups/Finishers/Specials D.Followups: D.Followups/Finishers/Specials D.Finishers: none Note: D.5C is jump cancellable on hit Edit: Whoops I left out 6C.
  3. When you randomly can't time a simple dash after a butterfly you just know there's something wrong with the sticks but hey, it's still old news (unfortunately).
  4. Voted 16th just now since poll wasn't closed.
  5. Kind of want to go to AI tonight but just for GG.
  6. I think he just remembered the sj.C j.D setup wrong. Also, depending on how your combo progressed so far, you can't always get solid oki (GF, corner 5B4D, corner 2D, or sj.C j.D) if you combo into another Collider since in certain situations they can tech in the air after the 2nd Collider. You can go for certain setups rather than solid oki in those situations though, and your opponent might not tech after the 2nd Collider anyways so you can still pull them in for either one of many reset possibilities or just GF them for not teching.
  7. I bet the controls still suck.
  8. I think it's mostly my end, so don't worry about it. It seemed like only my matches were lag spiking.

  9. Haha indeed indeed. I'm on every now and then so feel free to send an invite. IIRC the last time you sent me one I couldn't join the room because of P2P restrictions (the same kind that showed up SSF4) or something.

  10. Man next time I see you I should tell you about all the secondhand smoke I got when I was like 7 years old which got me almost addicted lololllol
  11. Whoa, damn, all those games were recorded? I was playing pretty poorly for those matches (though I don't consider myself to be a good player to begin with anyway). What bothers me about online the most though is that it's just that much harder to IB certain things like all those times where it looked like I just stand there and get hit for no reason. Don't get me wrong though, I didn't come here to complain about online or anything since that's really a lost cause once you choose to play online. Natearistata, IMO your gameplay is definitely on the right track. I think all you need right now is more information, about Tager and BB's mechanics in general. From some of your commentary, I got the impression that you don't understand BB's mechanics as well as you'd like to. That stuff is pretty vital to understand why some of Tager's gameplay work the way they do, and it never hurts to be clear on them. Just my two cents. We should play again sometime
  12. Just a few things I want to point out if it hasn't been already. I'm not sure if this is really a buff unless it does either one of two things: 1. Allow for combo afterwards midscreen. 2. Activate 22B and 22C (which I assume it would?) The old Bloom Trigger wallbounced and the typical followup for it in the corner was 6C. If it got changed to groundslide then the new followup would be 2B2C and the addition of 2B just ends up prorating the combo more, doing only 220 base damage and having 84 P2 therefore nerfing corner damage... though of course this is only speaking in CS1 terms. I think this one could go either way since it might give you ways to combo from it that you couldn't do so before when you're near the corner. As above, I would argue that this change affects the move ambiguously rather than just being an outright nerf. One of the problems associated with the current 5D is that due to its slow startup, magnetism before the move becomes active could become a liability. Top example: Ragna dashing 5B with magnetism assist. If the move only pulls during its active frames, though, then at least that portion of the two-way street that is magnetism can, on paper, become far less of a problem since your opponent can no longer manipulate the magnetism pull for a mobility boost. Again, let's use Ragna 5B as an example. If 5D only pulls during active frames, then Ragna can no longer punish its startup of 5D with a magnetism-boosted dashing 5B (assuming he's can't get in range in time without the help of magnetism in the first place). Now there's a good chance that the move will trade instead of getting beaten out since the pull only happens during active frames. Just my two cents on the matter because I feel that the + and - can be misleading in these cases where the change is arguably ambiguous.
  13. Damn, I won't have a ps2 stick by Thursday. Will there be BB?
  14. Well, I'd say before you get too far ahead with planning biweekly tournaments, we should try to get casuals going first. I might be able to borrow a PS2 stick from someone soon since I can't play GG on pad for the life of me (anymore).
  15. No surprise that nothing works when you're already loaded on it. In fact, I think after a certain point it'd actually be dangerous to STOP the influx of artificial high.
  16. Guilty Gear? Fuck I should've went.
  17. About the 3v3: I'll pass for now but if I'm free at the time of the tourney (tomorrow? Saturday?) and you still don't have the spot filled for whatever reason then I might give it a shot.

  18. I second the part of the last post where it said "details".
  19. I'm down for BB, GG, or MBAA depending on when/where/etc although for the latter two games I'd need to borrow someone's stick as I cannot manage those games on pad (BB I might be able to scrape by on pad if necessary).
  20. Daisharin invincibility was actually nerfed from CT. Back then it was practically a safe reversal.
  21. As long as they don't make her mechanically boring as a character.
  22. No real set time for me. Any time between 6 to 9 PM if I do go.
