also does anyone want to play guilty gear tomorrow at gamecenter?
-
well melty's always gotten attention, at least back when we had two streams... but now theres this finestko thing i guess we don't even practice melty anymore really. and i'm more interested in playing guilty gear now
-
does changing the main event actually do anything cause that just seems like words to me its ok the actual main event is catherine rite
-
most streamed? well just look at the stream schedule imo... also cant be helped since our #s are few now start MB at 12pm, call it the month's featured game, i lol'd, well at least we are supposedly getting stream time now i guess anyways GG top 8 should be considered imo but now that everything supposedly has dedicated stream time, i guess its cool

I will offer to raffle away not one but TWO anime wallscrolls that came into my possession around 2002 that I never used and you get to pick between them at RANDOM
-
If we don't get enough #s for Melty Blood, which has been the case for the past who knows how many NCIs now, we will be running it as a Round Robin instead.

doesn't composite to HDTV lag?

making new muscle memory can take a while. what's important is not grinding out everything at once but to take breaks.

http://www.amazon.com/Female-Shield-Component-Adaptor-Computer/dp/B000I21Y9G/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1315514087&sr=8-17 its for LCDs that can process component signal via VGA (such as the dell ultrasharp 1500/1700 whatever it was). technically it's not a converter nor adapter as it doesn't do any actual signal processing, it's just a cable. and fyi jake's, fred's, and brett's setups look great.
-
does norcal practice anything anymore you can try looking into the lcd setup jake and fred run with component to vga. what did you enter as for melty blood? i appreciate your donating to melty's pot. it lets me break even with tourny/venue fees when i would otherwise go broke and my livelihood would suffer
-
so are you pushing vsav because you want to play it...?
-
the HDTV area may be entirely occupied by CRTs instead for GG/MB setups
-
i hope there will be casual stations what am i gonna do all day otherwise D:
-
uhh actually i think bringing laptops is easier... its just that there is the issue of running it on a pc which is unacceptable for evo and tournaments as everyone's pc is different and may have problems so there could be like lag issues, usb polling rates... console is uniform hardware and its also easier to stream/record because recording/streaming would take away from cpu resources etc...
-
it's always better to have more setups than less i think we usually tend to have enough gg setups but you never know i guess? if you guys can afford the space and hassle it could be useful
-
my memory is sort of good in some areas i guess hope to see you guys for mb at nci i am dabbling in vsav/sf4 right now and i still play gg whenever i get the chance to
-
oh right sahgren is that guy who is always in the middle of nowhere. riverside in the summer and sonoma for school right? you guys should get together and play games. i kind of remember trying to page hobbes about sahgren in irc but hobbes was offline and then i forgot
-
i don't believe all the games need to be on the same season. also bbcs2 is a new game so you guys could have started it when you stopped playing cs1 imo but post-evo is a great time to start a new season as well
-
you mean season 3 right. because you know we didn't have blazblue at the first season which was the first year we hosted nci, when it was originally a gg/mb event only. also i understand you wanting to start the next season with bbcs2 out and all but this new season starting now should only be for bb. like last year's super nci, this should be the final ranbat for gg and mb's season or maybe we won't even bother starting a new season, who knows
