1) Did you try to turn it off and on again ? 2) Are you sure your internet connection is correctly plugged in ? Maybe the port you selected is blocked by your router. If so, change it. Are you sure you chose a lobby were people are actually playing on (delay 4 or 2 for example)

What kind of combos are ou looking for ? Flashy-combos-that-you-don't-usually-do-in-real-game-because-it's-not-worth-the-tension ? Or more likely any combo that isn't already in any (famous) combo videos already ? kokuugeki Impossible dusts are fun, but require 50% tension to combo (with raiei FRC)

I don't agree on that. Even if you don't get that much damage, there is always a reason to do the combo : It increases your tension (and you always need some). It makes your enemy realize you can deal damage from this move, and will hesitate in the future (why do some burst whereas it deals so few damage then ?) You can always finish with a knock down somehow with Benten HS-> Bomber on most characters (and look for the tech throw on others). The combo can finish the opponent off (the throw or catch itself isn't powerful enough)

Because getting near him is quite a problem ^^ And then because Axl usually has great long attacks. Usually... Still, I see what you mean on how to approach him. But then, how do you keep pressure ? His 2+P, 2+S and 2+D have the advantage if you let a gap in your pressure... Any particular mixups to intent against him ? with/out tension ?

nah, just DL the 1.20 patch, and then add the content of the 1.20-3 to it.

Allright, how can you aproach safely this guy ? Any air to ground option is not an issue, as his 6+P is just to effective against any of your chains...

Any clue for a jump-happy May ? Wether it's j.S or J.2+HS, she keeps on being just above me... Is jumping at her and instant blocking a solution ?

yeah it definitively is an online issue. Not really good without lag ^^ (same for f.S, 5+HS)

How about the benten HS version ? Meaty JI HS -> Benten HS-> follow-> FRC-> Air Dash-> B-Loop To JI it, one would empty jump-> attack on landing. So it's unlikely to work in every situations (not enough time). I just want to know since I find Benten HS follow's FRC easier to do... But I guess on low weight characters, it won't work...

All right. I finished my script. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's a script that sorts your guilty gear replay files located in your "replay" directory, so you can easily find them. Only by their names. Basically, it collects every information from the title of the file. Example : 20080329-045 Beowulf(Ax) vs Nitro G3'n C(I-).rep Year = 2008 Month = March You = Beowulf ; Character = Axl Opponent = Nitro G3'n C ; Character = I-no If one of the above information is incorrect (or non existing) then the file isn't sorted. Otherwise it is sorted As follow : replayPATH->Versus->Character->Year->Month->alias (in the example it will be put in Versus->I-no->2008->March->Nitro G3'n C) That's how it works. I finished a working version, if I have time, I'll post it for those who want...

yo ! It's been too long since I played online, but it's due to me not having any connection at home... Anyway, I still got a PC, so I imagined a script to class one's replays. For now it's only a prototype, and only works on UNIX systems, but soon, I'll try to make it better... So it just creates a "Versus" directory in the replay directory, and organize replays by : Character-> Year-> Month-> Player A "favorite" folder is also in construction so you can easily find your "wanted" players' replays... So, if you're interested in the idea, you can contact me, or just post your wills here. I can also send you the script (it's a python script) if you want, so just ask. Well, see you next time ^^

I don't think there's any "tips" in this matchup as it is in Eddie's favor... Your were doing prety well. Here are the things that you may be careful on : - Don't hamerfall if eddie is out (his ]K[ won't be good !). You can kill it with 2+P (fast recovery) or 2+D (covers a bigger distance). - You can AA with an early 2+HS, or a 6+P. But with his air control, it's not easy... Try backdash-> 5+P to make his j.K/j.S whiff... - As Air to air, use j.S. If Zato was already in the air, you can try to jump mashing j.P it can beat his j.K... - His drills are really anoying... I know you can flick them, but you shouldn't focus on that... It's better to instant block them.Also remember he can only FRC the HS one (so his close drill is his unsafest move lol). You can "eat" them with hammerfall. Be sure to break or (F)RC. - When little eddie is out, don't try to jump.It's sometimes best to guard than trying to kill it too. Sometimes, your 236/214+P can kill it... - When defensing, use your FD on the ]K[ part ! It builds SO MUCH your guard bar... Plus, you can't FD Zato out anyway... - Keep your burst for when you get hit, and not as a way to avoid pressure. Go for the Gold Burst too when you can. - Build as much tension as you can. Try always to have 50% Tension when neutral. - When 50%, go for the Hevenly whenever you see him in the air. You can also dead angle-> combo if it's a counter hit... - When Zato is down, don't let him escape ! Train your mixups hard for that. The best way to win, is to not let him do anything ! And except with 50% tension, he'll mostly be guarding on wake up. Anyway I don't see anything else, as I'm not a potemkin specialist (just playing him for fun ^^). Keep your good work, and remember not to spam PB. Prefer using combos and Hamerfall.
