  1. I don't remember where we wrote something about Raiei FRC (hit) whiffing on low stances (such as Axl's 2+K, or Venom's sweep) but there was one about Faust having a low stance when crouching. I tested (and made videos ^^) and noticed that Raiei FRC (hit) only whiffs if Faust is crouching neutral. If he crouches with a direction, he gets hit... -> So in any cases, the FRC (hit) will hit any crouching character, as people usually press 1 or 3 to crouch... I made some punishing videos, like Eddie instant blocking the raiei into 2+Hs-> counter combo and sol instant blocking the j.HS after raiei-> FRC-> air dash to do a Wild throw-> combo... But I did do one where the catch misses as Axl does a benten S-> FRC-> combo ^^ (on Pot and testament) Dunno if I should up them now though...

  7. Ok, so what misses is : 1) Raiei-> FRC (hit blocked)-> dash-> overhead 2) Raiei-> FRC (doesn't hit)-> delayed jump 3) Benten FRC on landing to break throws 4) An ambigous Raiei that doesn't cross-up (I will try with the dummy FDing) 5) Raiei-> FRC (hit blocked)-> Bomber in the corner-> loop

    I agree dealing with VV is hard on reversal... But it doesn't mean you should never pressure ! On the contrary, letting him get up safely is the worst you can do, as he won't be scared of getting knocked down. That would put you at great disadvantage, and you will feel really uncomfortable the whole time... Minimum okizeme should always be set. Baiting VV is a good option, as he will be punished behind (and he'll think twice about doing it again the next time...). Plus, Benten S FRC on okizeme can easily deal with reversals. Adding a late Raieisageki cross-up can be a nice plan too, especially if jump installed correctly. So if you got 25% meter, use it for the okizeme !

Especially baiken, who could have done better ^^ Well, I'm glad you master the move too ^^ I hope to see you using them in a real fight.

Anyway, DW wrote a lot already here, so just look the first post. BTW : I also made a "failed raieisageki" video where each character punishes Axl back : If you want, I can try to up it...

  13. BTW DW... It's not "really hard" it's quite IMPOSSIBLE. How do you get the 2+P to be recognized here ?
  14. Well, the move is not perfect. A simple reversal back dash can avoid it, not only potemkin can do that. It's just that I have troubles playing AND recording at the same time, otherwise I would at least have done a backdash for Slayer too... But you know what would have been funny ? Doing an FRC after the dandy step ^^ EDIT : I hate your "this" ! I don't get them !
  15. Also what if slayer bdc bites ? -> If Axl doesn't move his ass away from him, he gets bitten very badly. He can still jump away or back dash after the FRC though. So If the Axl awaits the bite, He can escape safely. Sorry if I didn't do bdc for slayer (actualy I wanated, really...) but I can't do it myself and I don't know anybody near me who could do it... Also what if I do DOT can you block in time or do you get frozen out thanks to the freeze on that move? -> Actually, if Axl doesn't hit on the FRC, he can immediately block. That's clearly what you can see against the VV. But DOT on reversal ? Man, I know it's a nice move and all, but it's only invincible at the 7th frame. You would get hit by the beten before the screen even starts to freeze, as it is timed to hit on the first active frame.
  16. I just wanted to show what they should react to... For Millia catching, I noticed on the video that : 1) We can see the begining animations of the circle around Axl when thrown. 2) No purple circle around to be found to uncatch it. And, if she doesn't catch, it does hit her. That's all, I don't know if the timing is wrong. I did a "replay" action once I made it successfully.

Alright figured out : To face the opponent after Raiei, one must use the super jump propriety. Thanks dude, I appreciate what you did ^^
  18. I do 28 after a JC move in a combo. That makes : 5+K, c.s (28), 5+HS, raieisageki S-> FRC And there, he doesn't face the opponent... And I'm sure it's super jump installed as I can't jump after the FRC but can still dash. So I think what could make him face the right direction after the FRC is the super jump itself, as if it's an "installed" it doesn't work.

Posted in an other thread already, but it belongs here for sure : So that would explain why you actually only get a forward dash on stand alone raiei or after sJI'ing it on a JC'ble move before the Raiei... So to put it short : In order to make Axl face the correct direction, you need to input a super jump right before the raieisageki S. As far as I know, the only way is : - As a stand alone move (632147+S fast) - After a JC move (632147+S fast after c.S, 6+P, 2+S or 6+K) So it actually IS possible to do it ONLY by super jump installing it ! For example in : 5+K, c.S (sJI), 5+HS, Raieisaki S-> FRC Axl will be facing the opponent ! What is hard, is that the super jump must be done late enough AND 5+HS must be input quite at the same moment as the 8 ! (NOTE : using f.S instead of 5+HS is "easier" ^^) Alright, problem solved. Now, I need some more practice (had to do it a lot before succeeding ^^)

  21. It's funny how one can change his mind in only few days... ^^ Well, I admit you can't combo after a j.S here, whereas you can after a kokuu... BTW how do you do your instant air back dash kokuu thing ? I can't manage to do it. The input is 632144+S right ? where the second 4 is just after the first ?
  22. Strange for R-Ky... As if I did not make him do his dragon, the benten would have actually hit him with the FRC... On the second frame ? Of course GV and Gun blaze could be avoided. It's just there to remember that "low reversal" exists, and "cross-up reversal" exists too. Not that sure, As if the opponent wishes to catch, he'll do it the guarding way ! (by doing a backward catch) That's what happened with Millia. The first, she got hit. The second she miss timed her catch and guarded, the final, she was right in time... And how I tested it so far, you don't get a counter hit if it's done on the first active frame. It's a normal hit, in most cases as the hit doesn't come out. I didn't do a "safe okizeme" though. I made it so that Axl is actually at the catch distance (gotta do one more when he's a bit farther). That one's true. Still, if you don't see it comming, you get cached behind... Not on that one... Millia catches on the the firsts frame of the move, before it gets active... And the purple shining didn't apear on the video... ^^

Still, I'm wondering... R-Ky's 623+HS actually hits low on the first hit ? Or is it me timing the FRC too badly ?
  24. Yeah, but it does cost you 25% MORE to do it safe... Whereas you can always FD your landing after the air dash stop if you see it will be bad...
