You could always just autopilot into the CT and hope it guard crushes if 6C doesn't FC, I guess. While we're on the subject on oki it's also worth noting that GA forward dash j.C after any knockdown (6B, Strike Fall, Phorizer) always safejumps if you do it late enough. In fact I think it's sometimes better to go for Strike Fall ender rather than 6B since the former is emergency techable which means you typically either get a blue beat pickup or safejump their emergency tech.

How are you getting double Phorizer into 5C midscreen? I can barely get 5C to link off non-CH Phorizer in corner and that's off an immediate cancel. If you cancel immediately midscreen you end up on the wrong side and if you delay it it won't link.

5B 6C is a pretty good way to poke people who are just blocking. Gives you lots of nice options: 1) Autopilot into 236A, + on block and gets you stocks on hit. If you get a crouching FC you can 5B 6C 236B etc. for a full combo. 2) Autopilot into 236B~A. + on block and if you get a fatal with 6C you can do 5B 5C 236B for a full combo. 3) Confirm into 236B for a combo. Kind of hard to hit consistently but you can always teleport to make it sorta safe if you screw it up. 5B 6C is also a frametrap for mashing and jump-outs and you can teleport to bait out reversals as well. Because of the body invul midway through it'll even beat out of some reversals just by chaining it.

Izayoi's backdash becomes godly in Gain Art. It makes it a bit harder to punish jab meaties and the like but it gets you out of pressure really easily.

Couple of chombos since no one's posted them yet: Normal, midscreen or corner: Anything into a C move > 236B~214A 2B 5C sj.B(very slight delay)AAC 5A 5C > ender (doesn't seem to work on everyone, some characters don't get hit by j.C) GA, midscreen: Any decent starter (j.C, 5B, etc.) > 236C~6D~214B 5C j.BC JC j.BC 236C~D 5A 5C sj.BC JC j.BC 236C~D (about 3.4k to 3.8k depending on starter, consumes 3 stocks) GA corner: Same as above except omit 214B after 236C~6D and do 2C 236B 2B 5C instead.

I just airdash around a lot then teleport to bait out AAs. Her GA dash is a regular dash with no startup too so it's not like they can just punish you for doing it, and it's not like Aigis where starting a dash burns gauge. So just dash and stop a lot I guess. Speaking of Aigis, anyone else keep trying to do 5B 6-cancel j.C? I keep auto-piloting that input and getting myself killed. I find myself doing 236C 22B for mode change a lot too cause 236C looks like Aigis's 5C.

No one's mentioning the 236B~214A 2B 5C j.BAAC 5A etc. stuff? It's hard and not really that practical but it looks baller as fuck.

I've got a friend who is looking into making a custom keyboard stick cause he is silly like that. Anyone have any estimate on how much something that like would cost him if he were to pay someone to build it for him? I think he said he'd be good with using arcade buttons in place of actual keyboard keys but he wants the whole directions on the right side deal. -
For someone who plays against a guy who uses Carl a lot, I need to know how to get out that j.A/3D unblockable reset if I'm playing a character that doesn't have a DP. Any tips?

So it's a bit early I guess but does anyone know frame data for Terumi? Or least figured out general stuff like "this is good on block" and "this isn't"? I'm trying to work out my pressure options for him. So far the only thing I've figured out is that 5C looks like it would be safe but gets you blown up.

Now that (some of) us have BBCP and can actually press buttons with Izayoi, what have we got for combos and the like? I'm still doing scrub mode combos but I'm sure Izayoi can break 4k meterless in the corner. I'm barely hitting 3.5k.

I wouldn't worry about it too much honestly. Play-Asia is weird when it comes to how they choose to fulfill their orders. I remember I preordered BBCS1 on day one and my order didn't even go through. People who ordered after me got theirs.

You only need that region's PSN to download and buy things. Anything that happens in-game (i.e. automatic in-game updates) and just playing works on any PSN region. So if you import a disk copy you can play it on anything. Oh and I got my HK monies from cardscodes.com, dunno how legit they are but they got me my codes pretty fast. I know other people who ordered from pcgamesupply.com but they were being dicks when I was trying to grab some cards from them earlier today. Might as well get it from cardscodes, they are cheaper (I got 500 HK$ for $75 which should hopefully leave enough for Kokonoe DLC in a couple of weeks) and they do this funny thing where they send you a picture of the back of the actual card. It's cute.

Valk's wolf gauge isn't even really a resource so much as a "we're not going to just let you run wolf bullshit forever" gauge. It recharges back to full after pretty much everything so you never really need to worry about "managing" it.

So Relius except her "doll gauge" doesn't refill naturally, I guess.

I hope Spark Bolt is body attribute then cause I want to be able to 6C through it. I miss being able to Hazama 236C through Spark Bolt.

Cute. Got nothing to do till BBCP comes out so frames is as good a way as any to kill time. Noel's 5A is foot-attribute? According to wiki Izayoi's 6C is body attribute invul so it's not just a matter of having a hitbox that hits crouching, the move would actually need to be foot attribute, like a low or something. Also if it beats Jayoku then lol.

Is 5B 6C 236A a valid blockstring route or is it just going to get you blown up/punished/DP'd? I seem to see people using it like Dead Spike a lot.

I guess the first hit of Megido doesn't have SMP on it then.
