  1. You can do just airthrow > dash 6C > relaunch too. EDIT: Also I'm pretty sure I've done airthrow > Zaneiga > relaunch before, it's tight but doable.
  2. If you're having trouble with the crossunder 6C you can do 5C 6C instead. That's what I do when I hit with Zaneiga too low.
  3. IIRC you want to be further away, not closer. Not positive about that though.
  4. Actually Bang's 5A is still pretty good hitbox-wise, if you space it right you can still beat most 5f 5As and 6f 2As.
  5. You can also delay 2C a tiny bit too.
  6. Also this is extremely gimmicky but 2B tk C nail actually frametraps pretty well and is only -1 on block. Good for CHing people who think it's punishable.
  7. You might want to turn teching on there, none of that combos.
  8. Combo-wise? Learn his meter-builder stuff and also his full 50% Jayoku relaunch combo. Playstyle-wise learn how to use his chains properly. There should be threads for both of the above.
  9. It blue-beats in that particular combo, at least for me it does. Were you able to make it valid?
  10. Not sure if this was already posted but it's a fun combo if not: [in corner] 5B 3C 236D 66 5C(2) 2C j.2147B 5C(2) 6C 66 5C(2) 2C 4D~D j.Cx5 j.214B Hits an even 2800 and scoops 51% meter. Works off 2A, 2B, etc. also, just deals less damage. Meter gain is same. EDIT: Off good starters (i.e. 5B, 5C, j.2C, etc.) you can end with j.B j.Cx2 JC j.Cx5. Scoops an extra 5% meter and a bit of extra damage, totals up to an even 3k and 56% meter off 5B. Off stuff like 2A the j.Cs blue-beat halfway though.
  11. He can do it with j.B too. Just a bit wonky on some hitboxes. Also is his 6D untech even good for anything other than that one gimmick j.D j236C 6D j236C 6D combo?
  12. From the videos it looks like it'll be hard to actually combo into 214D~B off, say, a 3C. He might be able to do like 3C 236D 214D~B but I dunno how effective that'd be.
  13. You can actually just do 6D 4D j.7D 623D j.6D etc. off a CH flashkick. No need for RC. What I'm doing for 6D 623 RC is 66 214D~C 66C 66 5C j.Cx5 5C 4D~D j.B j.Cx2 JC j.Cx5 j.214C. End with 5C 623D if I feel like it although that scoops like 1% less meter.
  14. I'd think forward jump would technically be the easiest timing-wise because the chain doesn't have to travel quite as far (lol one frame less flight time) and also because you are slightly closer when you land, although dash 6C should nail it for you either way. Ultimately I think comes down to whether doing 96D, 86D, or 76D is easiest for you. Also has anyone been able to figure out how to get 50% back on 6D 623D RC midscreen?? The best I can get is 40%.
  15. Dunno, I can never make it work. Same problem as with Platinum.
  16. The relaunch combo takes a bit of work since it's all character specific and there are a couple of tricky links. Nothing impossible though, unless you're doing it on Mu or Platinum, in which case just give it up.
  17. It helps you figure out what shit links to what. i.e. doing challenge mode tips you off to the fact that anything > 6C 623B in corner will lead into DP loop, or that Tao can loop j.8D~A, etc. The full combos themselves usually aren't optimal though.
  18. If 6C j.4C j.623B dash under 5B doesn't work then do 5B 2B j.4C j.623B dash under 5B. I can confirm the latter works.
  19. If dash-under 5B doesn't work do dash under 2B. That move has more untech.
  20. Go figure. I'll be at PWA for the tourney at least. Unless that isn't happening either.
  21. Hey guys, you still having casuals in Windsor every Wednesday? Looks like I can probably make it to Windsor tomorrow in my own car for once in my lifetime since it happens to coincide with me picking up someone at the airport later in the day. When do people usually start showing up?
  22. Only if they're in a place where you can actually make use of them. Putting a B/TK C bumper in corner is a good way to make your opponent want to mash. It's an easy way to reset pressure/bait mashing too, just set it after a corner knockdown/623B and then blockstring > 2B JC then either 4-dash block (bait reversal/mashing), 6-dash j.C (overhead) or 2/3-dash 2A (low). Also on Tager you can do 2B j.C bumper dash and have it connect, which is pretty lulz.
  23. That's not terrible. Let me know when the next one is and I'll try to hitch a ride with someone.
  24. What's the address? During the week usually isn't great for me but if it's not far I may make the schlep.
