  1. Couple of things from Bang's perspective: 1) Jin has really good air normals and Bang has shit AA. You can pretty much jump in on him for free, just watch out for 2D or 5C. Both are easy to stuff though. 2) Jin can basically ignore Bang's bumper/FRKZ game. He's got tons of moves that will stuff dash mixup clean and Bang can't really bait any of them anymore since his FRKZ backdash is halved. Just be aware of when he's in range for a crossup and buffer your specials early so your inputs don't get reversed. 3) Jin's 5C is actually faster than Bang's 5B now. It's also got like twice as much range and a much better hitbox all around and if Bang isn't at least midscreen he gets zilch off a max range 5B while you get 4-5k depending on where you are. Definitely a good risk/reward for Jin. 4) Bang actually has a reversal now (Ashura) and it's only -7 on block and you can actually do things off it if it hits, so be careful when he got meter. Since it's only -7 and AUB, you won't be able to punish it in the air but on the ground you can IB 5C or make it whiff with backdash. Either way expect to be seeing Ashura a lot more in CS2. 5) TK nails have really bad advantage now. If you see him dash after a TK D nail that's basically your cue to mash, you'll probably beat anything he tries to poke with. If he doesn't dash though you risk getting CH'd by 5B. Definitely a very easy matchup for Jin. I'd say 6/4 or even 6.5/3.5 in his favor, although I suppose that's debatable.
  2. His 2a is standard Jin-tier bullshit. It'll beat pretty much anything in the game that requires a deep jump-in. If you want to beat it with j.C do it from higher up.
  3. Using C nail after 2C is a pretty huge waste. It prorates a ton. Probably why the d.5B didn't work.

  6. You can pretty much mash through all of his guardpoints except 2D. That's why so many Bangs mash 2D, because it's the safest guardpoint overall, but if you're on your toes you can get an easy 3C CH on reaction.
  7. 5D and 2D are mid/high guardpoint. j.D is full-body guardpoint. Not sure if it still blocks AUB. 6D is mid/low and has reversal autoguard. Just meaty it with 6A if they're getting happy with it but watch for Ashura/Daifunka. All guardpoints are throwable by everything but the OS tech trick still works. Drives are basically safe now though since he can cancel into firepunch. Just wait and IB that and 2B it.
  8. The challenge mode 10 combo seems to work pretty well and it's not that hard. Does like 4.5k meterless even off 5A and it's something like 6k off 5B. Tack on super and it's like 7k but of course no one will survive that whole thing.
  9. I use that move as AA sometimes. Shit is cash.
  10. Can't autopilot it to victory anymore though. Not against Jin anyway.
  11. It's annoying because Bang still has no AA and Jin's jump-ins are as bullshit as ever, and he can still pick up 4k off pretty much anything. I find myself abusing j.4C a lot against him. FRKZ's not a good idea since a lot of his moves have huge hitboxes that are hard to avoid and safe to boot, so he can mash out of an FRKZ rushdown pretty easily. IB 5A is still a decent tool to have if the Jin thinks he's being clever by staggering 5Bs and 2A, though.
  12. It was d.5B. Wasn't really that strict, though. The only thing you could follow it up with was an unsafe tech trap though.
  13. Damage off corner 5A is better than in CS1? I can only get like 3.3k tops IIRC. But yeah in terms of just hitting things alone it's a lot better. Just can't mash it until you hear COUNTER and cash in on mindless damage. Still I actually have incentive to mash buttons other than 5A now.
  14. Well he makes it to the other side just fine. I was just wondering if he's considered to be backdashing for half distance on the crossup (even though he's dashing in the direction he's facing) since he seems to move slower.
  15. Well, I'm back to Bang now that he's not boring-ass hurr 5A shit like in CS1. Aaaanyway: It wasn't really important before but is he backdashing when you do FRKZ shit > crossup j.4C > crossup j.4C? He seems to dash slower for the crossups now.
  16. I kept trying to Houtenjin/j.2C your random sledges but getting nothing. Sledged 5D > command throw is also super boss but impossible to do online as well. It probably just feels worse because instead of it being "oh I lost the last hit of my second j.C rep thanks to lag whatever" it's "oh I lost everything that combos from a FC Houtenjin". Also I feel like Arcana Heart has better netcode in general.
  17. Trying to play Hazama in netplay is like eating a bag of dicks. I may have to give Platinum some serious play just so I have someone to play online.
  18. Ragnas will mash ID on everything so there's no reason to really read too much into it. But yeah, if it's airtight a reversal will always go through it. It'd have to be at least +5 on non-IB (+8 on IB) to be able to followup up a move with 5A completely safely. Real ballers will do j.214B RC j.2C 5C etc. Dunno how the proration works out but it looks mad kawaii and shit.
  19. 5A is actually not bad proration all around. It's about the same as 5B so you can just hit 5A > shit about the same way you'd hit 5B > shit. 2A is what will really rape your damage.
  20. What we need is a guide on what is bitches online and what isn't. I lose matches randomly because I can't link that crucial Houtenjin > Zaneiga and lose like the 4k implied damage I was saving for all round.
  21. I know how to do it. Basically it looks like Hazama is moonwalking. The problem is that it's not consistent when I'm not close to corner, i.e. when I do AA 6D 4D 623 d.5C 6C d.3C 236D d.6C etc.
  22. Friggin' trying to link d.6C after Jabaki is getting me murdered. I swear that's like his hardest link. 623D j.6D is easier than 236D 6C.
  23. What's optimal followup for 5B combo in corner in CS2? 6D 4D j.7D > shit doesn't seem to work cause corner.
  24. Axl I'm pretty sure you're getting infracted for reasons unrelated to talking about black people. Also I heard you don't even play Axl. mgvfinest I'm still not sure how to actually get out of that 2E reset. It has too many active frames to 4D/7D through. Might be able to clash it with j.C maybe?
