  5. Ice Prince: what Eddie are you judging this by? Good Eddie pressure has gaps for sure, but those gaps are hella dangerous. In the time it takes for you to input a 236 motion, you might have already eaten a 2K/2D into combo. FD jumping is a much better escape than any kind of non-invincible special move. is about to
  6. j2H is pretty much #R j2H from what I've seen and fought against. Jackhound should still launch off a throw. The reason why moves don't hit after her throw is because they can't reach far enough or you're not getting there fast enough- you can do throw, OTG 6H for sure. The reason why people don't do throw -> Jackhound is probably because of prorating, if I had to guess. Doubt it'd do all that much damage, and you could just go into a setup off her throw for potentially more damage. Might be a good way to end a round, though.
  7. No she's reserved for champs who have mastered all moves and beaten the best. Good news, apparently Team Dizzy placed second at the A-Cho single-character team tourney (Team Millia took first?) so hopefully there will be some good vids of Dizzys playing like champions.

Here's how she's fared against other characters in the 2 months this game has been out: ONE video of her winning from any halfway decent player group. 1- Given what people have been SBing with any consistency... not much. 2- Any time your opponent isn't in your face. 3- none that seem remotely special or useful.
  9. Unfortunately the problem with Eddie rushdown isn't that it's seamless or anything, quite the opposite. The problem with Eddie rushdown is that there are gaps but Eddie has a way of covering most of them and he has a million ways to bait your relatively small set of escape options, or to change it up so that you jump the gun. So yeah Eddie kinda loses his old tensionless full-block-combo-to-corner pressure but I wouldn't get too antsy about it yet.
  10. Hard to avoid is probably not the best way to put it, since any blockstring or knockdown sets up his pressure. Hard to escape depends, kinda. And yeah, the shadow K doesn't combo on block so you can get out in between hits. Shadow P doesn't do a great job of filling in gaps like before. Definitely more gaps in the pressure, still as scary to get hit trying to get out as before though. Also some people seem to have forgotten how popular Order Sol was when he was bad.

  12. That's not what we're saying. We're saying that the only vids that Dizzy wins in are vids of scrubbier play. The high level vids are all of Dizzy losing. The game has been out for more than 2 months now and we STILL haven't seen a single vid out of the better/best sites (ex. gamechariot, a-cho, random Japanese players' sites) where Dizzy has won. That says something. The game is NOT completely new in any case.
  13. GameFAQs has a preliminary list for like... Heart. Also activating through that combo would probably be a free air Buster for Kira. Plus activating drains all of your meter.

It wasn't all that ironic since Koichii almost always tries something silly when he doesn't need to- and while many times it leads to awesome looking matches, that Testament match was pretty much a perfect example of the many times it doesn't go Koichii's way. Love watching Koichii play, definitely one of the most dangerous GG players in the world, but also one of the most prone to randomly losing matches he's already won. Not many other people can consistently hit 80-90% combos in every other match but then again, not many other people can hit an 80-90% combo and still lose. <3 Koichii.

  18. I have NEVER seen a vid of Dizzy winning in AC, so you've already seen more than I probably ever will.
  19. shrug for horizontal DOLPHIN TORPEDO you can just do [4]6H6D like you're dashing or something... and you'd probably want to delay vertical DOLPHIN BOMB so it's easy enough to just let go of up and then tap 8D when it's the time is right.
  20. It's OTG for sure- even if her sweep caused slide (it doesn't), it wouldn't explain why Jackhound OTG-cancels after a huge air combo into Dolphin Upper. Some news for you May players- FB Dolphin command is NOT just using D instead of S/H or just hitting D after doing the move! H.Dolphin- [4]6S/H~5~6D V.Dolphin- [2]8S/H~5~8D You have to go to neutral, then hit direction+D. Now you know, so when you finally get to play the game you won't wonder why you can't FB dolphin like I did for like 5 minutes today!
