  1. My bad, copy pasted the wrong list. Not only did you get third in that tournament, but you know you're #1 on my list of Tha Hindu(s).
  2. When are we changing the name to the true name: Rayzyrbyrnt Toast.
  3. No, not really. Go for it.

  7. For our more lonely participants, I am offering a free match-making service! FREE TRIAL. PM ME FOR DETAILS.
  8. I am on the grindddddddddd. My workplace is like 50 miles from AI, which is 50 miles from home, so I can't make it to AI as much as I used to anymore. I'll probably go on Sunday (2/7/09) though. Gotta post up those Team Tournament ads.
  9. Are we confirmed for BB:CS yet? It'll draw a decent crowd, so I'd like to see as many players as possible to come out and support the venue/hardware.
  10. One man teams are NOT ALLOWED ON VALENTINE'S DAY. You have to at least bring a hug pillow or figurine to call your wife. Also, because its Waseda format, your hug pillow or figurine also needs to play her match as well.
  11. I'm going to this. Edit: And you should too.
  12. Teams is usually a lot shorter, the only question is "How many teams will sign up?"

Ike stole the image from my next ad. :V Also, gonna pass on Friday, TheOlder is going to AI today, so that's where I'll be tonight.
  17. I personally like 5C > 4B, mostly because get careless because some of the the hits of 5c miss on crouchers at some ranges, they get careless and forget about 4B. On that note, is 2C actually still jump cancelable on block?
  18. As for what day its on, I'm more busy on Saturdays than I am Sundays. That's pretty much the only reason. Sorry about that. Scott suggested their system to me, it's not exactly Mario kart, but its like 8/7/6/5/3/1. I'm down with that too, so if people are okay with it, so will I. Basically the current point system is 4/3/2/1/.40/.20 /// .02/.01. as opposed to SF4's 8/7/6/5/3/1 /// 0/0. But yeah, like I said, I'm open to input, so if you hate either one, let me know what a better one is!

If you do not come in semi-formal wear, I'm going to have to ask you to leave. But you can stay anyways. If this finishes early like last time, and I'm not too tired, we'll also have ONE OF THE THREE EVENTS: TAGER FESTIVAL, BANZAI! What: BB:CS 1V1 TAGER ONLY Where: Arcade Infinity (1380 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748) When: SATURDAY 05/22/2010 7PM (Signups start right after the main event) Entry: $1 (Entry) + $1 (Venue) [Event Mode] Tournament Rules: SINGLE MATCH, SINGLE ELIM, TAGER ONLY Prize Structure: Everything Else/$3/$2 RANDOM ENCOUNTER What: BB:CS 1V1 RANDOM ONLY (Your character will be chosen out of a hat beforehand) Where: Arcade Infinity (1380 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748) When: SATURDAY 05/22/2010 7PM (Signups start right after the main event) Entry: $1 (Entry) + $1 (Venue) [Event Mode] Tournament Rules: SINGLE MATCH, SINGLE ELIM, TAGER ONLY Prize Structure: Everything Else/$3/$2 The hat is so we can enforce other rules, such as "You must draw again if you draw your main character" or "You cannot play a character twice in a row". 2v2 Random Teams, Secondary Character What: BB:CS 2V2 YOU CANNOT PLAY THE CHARACTER YOU PLAYED IN THE TOURNAMENT Where: Arcade Infinity (1380 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748) When: SATURDAY 05/22/2010 7PM (Signups start right after the main event) Entry: $2 (Entry) + $2 (Venue) [Event Mode] Tournament Rules: POKEMON STYLE (that means, OCVs are possible) Prize Structure: Everything Else/$3/$2 I still stand by TAGER ONLY for the joy and laughter, but 2v2 Random Teams + Secondary character sounds fun too. On the flipside, I think Random only is kinda boring. Most people will get some character they dunno the BnB for and it'll take foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Past Events/News Tournament 1.1 What: BB:CS Tournament Where: Arcade Infinity (1380 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748) When: Sunday 01/24/2010 3PM (Signups start @ 2PM) Entry: $5 (Entry) + $3 (Venue) [Event Mode] Tournament Rules: Double Elim, Best 2/3 Matches, Loser can switch character Points: 8/7/6/5/3/1 for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/7th Prize Structure: 70/20/10 This is your chance to come out and flex your BlazBlue related manliness. The points are done like this so we can give points to Nth place, but not have it matter as much. I'm up for suggestions on the point system, since I'm still debating on what it will be. Also, they'll also be some silly match by match ranking system as well (more on that later, if I actually get around to doing it). Both will be soley for E-Penis, though maybe we'll have some silly trophies or other goodies for 1st~0th place. These will be about once every 3~4 weeks. That's because we've also got: 2v2 Team Tournament: Be My Valentine What: BB:CS 2v2 Tournament Where: Arcade Infinity (1380 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748) When: Sunday 02/14/2010 3PM (Signups start @ 2PM) Entry: $10 (Entry Per Team) + $3 (Venue) [Event Mode] Tournament Rules: Double Elim, Waseda Style, Character Lock Prize Structure: 70/20/10 Expect these to also take place every 3~4 weeks, and will take place different weeks from the Singles events. Come out and show your support for BlazBlue! As per request, our point values have changed from 10/7.5/5/2.5/1/.5 to 8/7/6/5/3/3/1/1. This was done to better match up ranbat values on the AI Blog. Some people have expressed interest in having it be SBO style (Single match, single elim) from now on. I'm either way for this, and we can adjust the entry/pot accordingly, so let me know what you think about this. Otherwise, our current format is: Tournament 1.2 What: BB:CS Tournament Where: Arcade Infinity (1380 Fullerton Rd, Rowland Heights, CA 91748) When: Sunday 03/07/2010 3PM (Signups start @ 2PM) Entry: $5 (Entry) + $3 (Venue) [Event Mode] Tournament Rules: Double Elim, Best 2/3 Matches, Loser can switch character Points: 8/7/6/5/3/1 for 1st/2nd/3rd/4th/5th/7th Prize Structure: 70/20/10 2v2 Teams for 3/28/10, the name says it all. 20. Yeah, you're right actually, I went to go check out 6B/6C at AI today and that's pretty much what happened. I have no clue why they are listed as combos in the Jwiki.

    CS at Mike Z's!

I want to come Monday night. Which also means Brett.
  22. Generally, you want Ragna's DP to whiff. Otherwise he can just RC it and continue pressure. So with that in mind, you pretty much have to backdash it or sj air backdash it after baiting in. Or if they uppercut without meter you can punish it just by blocking. In the event you succeed you can punish it with CH 5d/6c/6b -> 236c -> whatever else
