I appreciate the feedback, but it doesn't really answer my question. At this point, the best I can do is infer that there's both less active frame(s) and recovery, and possibly that the timing for FD canceling has become more lenient on purpose.

Has anyone figured out all the changes made to forward dash yet? I've been seeing an unusual amount of wavedashing and dashing over shit in general, which would lead me to believe that they reduced the active frames of the dash instead of the recovery. But, I could also be seeing things.

As for +R vids, I want to wait until there's more so I have more to pick from. I can't really give you the best of the best when it's all that's available to begin with. The reason I started this thread is because for anyone picking up the game now, it's difficult to tell what videos are worth watching because we now have 6 years worth of AC footage. Some of the early footage is good and some of it isn't, which could easily mislead new players into getting in to bad ol' Day 1 AC habits a good portion of this game's playerbase had been stuck on for a long time; hence why I took it upon myself to pick out the best combo videos and match videos and put them in one convenient location. A lot of what applied to AC Johnny is still applicable to +R Johnny, it's just that he's a stronger character in +R thanks to a lot of small (but significant) changes.

It doesn't look like it's gonna be that hard to do. I mean, MC is 1f faster now, so anything that used to be a 1f link is now a 2f link, and the rest is just standard Johnny fare. If you can do enkasu from KJ FRC doing 6FRC6, I don't see how a combo like that wouldn't be well within your reach.

Weird that you'd post in this thread now; I just started A school two months ago. My experience has been that the nerds here are pretty much the same kind of nerds you'll find on a typical college campus. There's lots of LoL/HoN, MTG, D&D, and FPS players in general, but few fighting game players (AFAIK, I'm the only one here). I've seen a few people mash Vanilla Marvel 3 in the rec room and a friend of mine is somewhat interested in learning GG, but that's about it. Sad, but that's just the way it's gotta be. I'm halfway to becoming a full time shmup player.
