  1. i support this i heard, and i'm bringing mine for tekken or whatever hey man, you remember how i was there last time cleaning shit up as we were leaving. i'm going to guess that chicken bones were the result of things getting knocked over and someone just throwing a chair over it, but i do recall cleaning up a soda spill (me and ed i think). regardless, i'm going FULL JANITOR mode before we leave this time. this venue is simply too baller to lose, lol.
  2. ps i have literally no money and am probably not going to enter any tournaments
  3. w/e, more senko no ronde for us notfaggots.
  4. are any tekken players even coming to this? i looked around tz and they seem far more interested in the sfsu tournament...
  5. there's one or two that are better, but you get the point. you can punish 6C on whiff, block or ib with just about anything you want to, lol. if you're getting hit by 6C you've got other things to worry about. rachel is hella hard for hakumen in ct. you can zone my ass out all day long, you can beat any of my jump ins with your 6A (unless i j.D it on reaction, which is next to useless in this game anyways, lol), and you can rush me down so well that even if i ib your blahlblahblah j.2C blockstrings i rarely have the opportunity to get a 1 frame counter out (that's right, even when i'm +5, i'm still at - frames). if you're losing as rachel it means one of three things: 1. you need to learn how to block 2. you are wasting your wind meter 3. you aren't taking control of the match blocking hakumen on the ground is easy. in the air? just look out for hotaru and stay out of air throw range. the other two are simply not knowing how to play rachel.

    AC: Combo Guide

pretty much what nattak said. i learned how to do it from round start distance 6K counter hit. 6K ch dash IAD j.HS j.D 6HS etc
  7. 6C is one of the easiest moves to punish in the entire game, lol
  8. here's two to get started. i'll add more when i get the time to. midscreen/corner: 2P 2P 5K 8 5HS KJT KJFRC j.SKSDE don't laugh, this is legit. two 2P's put you at perfect positioning for the KJ to land. this works on a lot of characters, with the typical enkasu variations we all know and love. on pot, do j.SPKSDE, with the same timing on the ensenga you do off of throw PKSDE. midscreen/corner: 5K c.S 8 5HS KJT KJFRC j.SKSDE different spacing, more damage. works on most characters. potemkin can also be nailed with j.SPKSDE.

  10. instant block, barrier guard, both. don't get too comfortable poking out of pressure, because hakumen has 6A, 6B (in ct), 2D, tsubaki and of course hotaru. jumping (7 A+B+C) is advisable if you don't think you can fight back from where you are. that's about as general as i can get. there's plenty you can do, just that like a lot of things in this game it's a matter of judgement. if you know a hakumen player's tendencies, work around them.
  11. i actually considered this matchup 6-4 for hakumen in ct, but it might just be because the local carl player here, while good, was the only one. if japan put it at even, trust them over me. cs is undoubtedly gay as fuck for carl. enjoy getting hit to death from full screen, lol.
  12. okay so if i get a ride i'll bring: - ps2 + tv for ggac/mbac - dreamcast + crt monitor + converters for st - 360 + crt monitor + converters for tekken i am dead fucking serious so please give me a ride someone i live in mountain view
  13. his name is spelled sa to uu i realize i mispronounce it all the time but i dont give a FUCK
  14. koogy be hiring 10 year old chinese boys to make his shirts
  15. 8-2, in johnny's favor

    AC Voice pack?

the only equipment you need is an rca to headphone jack adapter (couple dollars at radio shack), a pc and a recording program (audacity or something like it). plug the red and white cables from the wii into the adapter, the adapter into your mic port, then record whatever you want.
  18. lol figured as much

    AC Voice pack?

on the disc (sound -> character voice). just rip them yourself with an rca to headphone jack converter.
  20. long story short, it's halted from the last time i posted in this thread. mostly because my only computer is dead and i'm currently pulling teeth to get the manufacturer to honor it's warranty. as such, the only time i have on the internet is borrowed and on someone else's computer. i have all of the translations backed up, but in terms of communication everything has taken a downward spiral since i can't be on irc 24/7 (or more accurately, since i'm barely on at all). there isn't that much more to do in terms of translation; at this point it's mostly figuring out where to put everything. i'm seeing about getting a bb guide (like the ac guide on the front page) together very soon (pre-console release for sure), so just because it's not posted all over the forums yet doesn't mean that it's not done. like i said before, keep your expectations low; there's not too much in the frame data that we haven't known for months already.
  21. welp, i guess we don't need mooks for these games after all since they're just hitboxes and everyone will figure it out eventually. MEW IS BEHIND THE TRUCK IN VERMILLION CITY I SWEAR TO GOD
  22. lol, you too? at least i punished that shit!
  23. also see why tz is so goddamn awful for yourself if you think i'm exaggerating http://www.dustloop.com/data/ac/select.html http://virtuafighter.com/wiki/doku.php?id=vf5:start http://www.shoryuken.com/wiki/index.php/Street_Fighter_IV http://www.tekkenzaibatsu.com/tekken6/_profile.php not so much as a "by the way, if you're not a faggot and actually play video games, there's combos and framedata here" link at the character select page and it's not like the forums are any better
