  4. don't worry about it man; whether you'll enjoy cs or not is ultimately up to you. i'm still gonna hang around for a bit, at least until you all have frames. past that though, my future with this game is uncertain.

  8. i don't think i'm qualified to comment on slash's balance since i never played it during it's prime, but if people think ac is in any way unbalanced they clearly either a) do not know the game very well or b) have not played many other fighting games. or they're just weird.
  9. according to who? if you can't block eddie unblockables in ac, your opinion of it's balance is void.
  10. i honestly don't think it's changed all that much from ct. the way i saw the matchup in ct was that neutral situations naturally segued to ragna trying to get in and hakumen trying to keep him out. ragna had 5B, 5C, j.C and his low pokes; hakumen had 6A, 5B, hotaru and his counters. once ragna got in though, it was still a pretty even guessing game because of hotaru, ib into counter and of course 7 A+B+C. in cs, replace hakumen's 6A and 5B with j.C and 4C; there's the matchup.
  11. i've been playing it a bit at the local gatherings here for awhile and so far i hate it. slash johnny is so fucking braindead it hurts. mash jackhound; if it lands, do a combo- if they block it, you get a free mixup anyways. divine blade leads into 50% combos, so dumb crossups are hella good (doesn't even have the spacing dependency of killer joker in ac or the late frc for baiting shit). 5K is burst safe because bursts are slow as shit in this game, so you get free burst punishes all day. no throw breaks (in a game with so much blockstun, lmao) so niggas just tick throw you all day like it's fucking st. and to top it all off, combos in this game are hella boring; basically just reload combos in slow motion. i know there's some diehard slash fanboys here so i wanna give them a chance to redeem themselves and explain why they prefer it over ac. if i'm missing something here, tell me what it is; because if this is all the game has to offer, i can't see how anyone could possibly prefer it over ac.

  14. the thing is, there's already plenty of ct info still floating around here from ct arcade release, so if you really want to learn about that shitty ass game then by all means feel free to find the ct system mechanics thread (this forum has a search function, do it yourself you lazy fuck). if this were to change to a ct mechanics thread, not only would it be redundant but also once it drops on console we'd have to update it, and why do that when we already have the info?

  18. since forever; because without good players, good games wouldn't exist. of course i don't expect you to get this, but maybe someone else will.
  19. homura: throw KSD is a one hit combo for everyone except sol, os, potemkin and johnny. the timing for the ensenga differs between characters (moreso weight classes) but once you see how it's done you'll be able to land them consistently. potemkin you just PKSD, sol and hos you rc the first hit, johnny i just knock down with 2D/divine blade. also, just as a rule of thumb; any time you see something cost you matches (return jack, wakeup super, etc), just stop using it for awhile. in due time, you'll figure out how to use that stuff correctly. overall though you're not off to a bad start. rod: you suck

  23. i don't play outside of tournaments, lol all i know is that there's a ton of lambdas at tournaments now that i didn't see playing nu in ct
