Mu's dead. Haz not so much, but he also doesn't have a launcher. Makoto nerfHAMMER, because stick is to light. I still haven't played with Valk, but I have played against him and yes, he has crazy damage that should be nerfed. I don't really see a point in 3Cs being techable since it is a sweep so yeah, it should be untechable. I don't like changes in these loketests, they've gone too far. As I already said they should have worked more on proration, proirity and stuff like that, not to take options from characters. Some characters really lost the fun. Some nerfs for Bang, Litchi, Ragna, minor nerfs for Haz and Carl, Tao's tloop, tone down Arakune's 10k combos, tone down Makoto's and Valk's damage, minor buff for Noel, Tager, maybe Jin and buffs Rachel and Tsubaki. All of this would be better than changes they made. I think Lambda and Haku were very pretty good balanced, Mu also. The only thing I like is ground to air unblockables, like in GG. I think cs2 will end up worse than cs. I could be wrong (I hope i'm wrong), but thats how it seems to me. We'll see...

I don't think it will be possible to do j.Cx2 > jc > j.Cx5 It's only 2 hits, I think Haz will not drop down enough so next jc into j.Cx5 will miss.

If it knocks down, maybe 3C > 214D~A > 2B > 5C > 2C > 4D > air combo could be possible if 214D~A doesn't push them too far...

The problem is they took out many very important combo starters. Hazama for example. There is NO way to start aerial combo any more (except for anti air and yayoku) and like it was not enough, they took out jC jump cancel. He is probably the weakest now. They took out 623C bounce from Bang. Like it was so much broken. 2A>5B also... Ragnas 3C to 5D... I don't think that had to be taken out. They added 5C/2C>6A whick is Hakumen changes are somewhat stupid. I think he was very well balanced. 6D change is the biggest facepalm of all. But there will be more L tests, there is plenty of time to fix some things.. I think they didn't have to go that far, some proration changes would've been better. -
At the end, I agree with Hecatom. The game doesn't really have to be dumbed down. I tried the game for the first time 7 years ago, it was Reload. I have played the game for a two years without knowing RCs/FRCs and IKs even exist. And I enjoyed it. It was the first fighting game I really liked. I didn't have a real main, I was playing with everyone. Than I learned about rc/frcs on some forum. One month later, I memorized frc timings for almost every character, it was very fun to learn them. Than, I found the dustloop and really got into the game. Frcs are something that really put the game on a whole new level and opened a limitless potential. Like Hecatom said, I think advertising is more important than removing advanced mechanics.

3C should be an universal goddamned sweep. Wtf... It can combo into 214D~B, at least at corner but it cannot be followed up with 4D. Madness, I don't see any other way to start a combo without 50%. jC not jump cancelable... Cannot follow up throw with D moves. C tier at best

I don't like motion change. I like 214 and 63214 motions more than 236 and 41236.

I don't understand these nerfs, really... 3C 214D~C... It's main combo starter... The only one 214D~B, untechable time is not that big to follow it up with chains. They went so wrong with this. They took out Bangs main combo, Ragnas all combos ()... They had better worked on proration or something like that. I'm only relieved because these are not final changes...

I hope ASW think about this ''easy-to-understand =\= easy-to-play'' The tutorial mode (like CS one) would help every newbie a lot...

First of all, the game is still very popular in Japan. Second, AC was made in 2006, it's relatively old.And third, the most important, the game actyally requires effort to learn it and people nowdays don't tend to put enough effort. Games tend to be dumbed down. Look at Devil May Cry. DMC 3 was a great old school game and DMC 4, while being a good game, isn't as half as good and challenging as DMC 3. And I don't want to think about new ''we want it to apeal to western public'' one. I don't really think we will ever get a new Guilty Gear game of AC caliber. And it's not ASW's fault, it's new ''dumbed down'' generation's (I don't mean to be rude here or to call someone dumb, I couldn't put it better...). I'll still play AC, even if I don't have to play it with anyone. In my country scene never really existed and I know only one (1!) person who plays it actively (what I mean is playing on a higher level) and he lives in the other part of the country. I have met him only once IRL. Yeah, there's a few casual lower level players, but that's it...

If they take out FRCs, it will change the game significantly. So many combos and tricks will be lost... I'm ok with bigger frame window. How hard that can be to learn... It would be stupid to take out SBs to. AC is the perfect fighting game in every possible way, I don't want it dumbed down.

Playing on gamepad is almost impossible for me The biggest problems are 623 and 6232146 motions, IADs and any combo that requires fast inputs... I also miss instant blocks at the end of opponent's strings... I ended up with Haku. He is slow, doesn't have so fast movements and combos so I can manage him. But not as nearly as good as with keyboard. But I shold make a stick by the end of the week, so... Goodbye to crappy gamepad

Is it possible to counter her 22D unblockable with D/6D counter? I tried today and couldn't do it even once...
