  1. 236236B combos off back throw anywhere on the screen and allows for 214DC follow up combo after one dash
  2. I've never been punished after a blocked 236D. Not to say it isn't possible (I really don't know if it is or not...) But none the less I never have...
  3. I think it was Kid Viper that had answered it for me previously, but I asked if you could do the pool super after 236D (CH) and he said it wasn't possible... Honestly, it's not THAT bad though. Its quick, has some pushback, and gets them 1/2 way across the screen if it CH's. I find myself using it more than 236C... which btw, does the command throw have invuln frames? I'm thinking no.. but I'm not sure. That was the first time I had used the pink color actually, and I haven't been able to get to AI all that often =/ I'll be there Friday tho. Hopefuly we can both get there the same day sometime lol.
  4. Honestly it's really not that big of an issue. I don't find myself less "manly" or "cool" doing a combo just because I hit the same button 10 times...
  5. That's just how its going to be... hate to tell ya. Learning a new char, practicing new combos, whatever... Your going to have to play against people that play the game really well. I suck at BB. I won't lie.. But I have fun playing it and learning my character. Sometimes I can't get a hit off on the other players and I'm out in 20seconds with $.50 less in my pocket. Other times hell I'll be able to hit them and drop a combo or two from hitting the wrong button if I'm lucky, then it's back to the facesmashing. Point is if your intimidated by people being really good then you need to go there with the mindset that you don't care if you waste mass ammounts of money trying to hit the other player ONCE. If that's not ok for you then the only other option is to go as soon as they open (a couple days after release), as most people like to hang around arcades later in the day, or just don't go at all and wait for there to be a training mode on console =/
  6. Nope, can't do that loop anymore. You can dash 3C after Jakou, or if you have meter do 632146C or dash 3C 236236B after Jakou. Thanks man, I'll have to give that a try. I don't know how to do any combos off throws except for the pool super... which I did in the corner once or twice without thinking I figured it was time to practice some lol Edit: I was talking to Rag lol, I was there trying to learn some combos with a guy who was just practicing with Hazama as well. Didn't know if it was him since he lived in SoCal as well.
  7. Were you at AI yesterday playing against a pink hazama? Also, wtf combos when throwing point blank into the wall? Couldn't get B or C to connect after the bounce..
  8. Lololol!!! I think (I hope) you just encouraged a lot more people to take a shower before they show up..
  9. Hahahahaha, Yeah, were at AI just playing BB:CS and eating McRibs all day
  10. Yeah definatly. Shoot me a PM when you head down next and I'll see if I can't get out there. Curious though, how crouded was it Saturday?
  11. Lol, we should go the same day so we could both work on Hazama... I'm always the only one playing him when I'm there...
  12. No it's not an overhead.. And the recovery really blows on it so I'm betting it's only going to be seen as a combo ender. You have to charge 214DB to get a fatal counter so I wouldn't count on it being "easy" as it can be read... especially if your trying it a lot. The recovery blows on it too if you wiff so you could be eating combos if you try it too much. But the hitbox on it is pretty sweet as you've noticed. Any counter will cause 236236B to be a Fatal Counter tho btw, and you'll probbably only be using it as a reversal or as a combo extender so yeah I guess it's "easy" in that sense as any counter is going to get you the FC.
  13. I'm pretty sure you can do 623D after a regular counter 214DB... I feel like I've done the non-charged verson (therefore non fatal counter) and still followed up with the DP chain. And no, DP chain doesn't eat a snake meter. I also feel like a few times he didn't follow up with the knockdown after the snake hit but I can't be 100% I thought I heard somewhere that he doesn't do the follow-up if you have no snake meter... which would account for him not following up the few times I tried it, but I'm never the best person to go to for observations like this And BTW, has anyone been able to test 236D (CH) 632146C?
  14. It's probbably going to be busier than the weekday when I went but.. It's more crouded at night, around 9-1am there's around 10-15 quarters on the machine. Its about a 20-30 min wait for the next turn if you loose, which isn't all THAT bad consitering...
  15. Good idea if it gets updated like that.. but you forgot Ragna :3
  16. Didn't get a chance to test it since I never had meter when I would land it but.. Is 236D (CH) > 632146C possible?
  17. Looks exactly like his 5C only it knocks them back. Disco, thanks for that! I understand it much better now. As for linking to his "632146C" DD I just haven't had enough time to experiment with different timings. It's a snap to do after a back throw, but after "623D" I just can't seem to get the right timing. After that point actually landing the super would probbably do minimal damage due to the lack of initial damage of the super and the proration as well...
  18. So basicaly let the snake hit and lock then follow up? And it seems like from what your saying you can really only follow up against a compitent opponent if the snake is a CH right? I think that was just the main thing I was having trouble with really. Didn't get why the hell I was flying over their head after the snake actually hit them. Probbably just wasn't locking on them. But yeah Jayoku is pretty nice. It'd be great if he was invincible the whole duration untill it hits, but even if it ends up trading (happend quite a few times) it'll still send them up and you can follow up after.
  19. Lol! That'd be so broken... Unblockable super that re-locates to their position Ok, so the follow-ups to Hazama's drive are really throwing me off. A, B, and C are fine. But I'll land a hit with the snake then hit D to follow up and it sends him flying over their head to the other side of the screen. Am I hitting D too early? All the videos I've seen put him right in front of the opponent and allow for a follow up.. Also with the air combos 4D~D>j.C mashfest, can you (or are you) supposed to jump cancel after the chain followup before actually connecting with a j.C? Kind of dumb questions, but it's pretty dificult to try and figure things out when it your in the middle of a fight where loosing means you sit out for the next 30-45 minutes...
  20. Yes its that easy to block if you just do it randomly outside of a combo. Its quick tho still. You can catch tager's vuln point after a charge on reaction for example.
  21. You can just simply hold back to block it. Its not like arakune's pool super... It doesn't work when they're point blank on you either. The pool just showed up a little ways behind them for me.
  22. Don't feel too bad, I didn't even win a match tonight But yeah, from what I saw with rachel it just looks more like random hits here and there with the ability to get a few combos in... and with the damage nerf Maybe they'll find something new for her? :8/:
  23. WTF Soniti was that you with Bang Camaro tonight? 4B still seemed really slow and painfuly obvious, and the dmg on BBL
  24. Quite a few people there tonight... They ended up closing at like 12:45, was just Bang Camaro, his friend (didn't remember his name >_<), and me at that time. Like others were saying tho, I didn't really notice any lag..
  25. It only works on Tager in the corner if you hold 3c... The first hits, the next couple miss, and the rest finally connect. Gives you very little time to go into 6A, Super but it works. Better to just learn 3c 236a as Kro was saying
