  1. I forgot to ask earlier... Does the command grab have enough invuln frames to get through Tusbaki's unblockable sword charge thingy? But j.2C has much more hitstun than j.B so it is possible to combo differently after a j.2C than a j.B. The only problem that I see with the above combo is j.2C's very low hitbox. It'll only connect if theyre a pretty good distance below you, and typically when your pulling yourself to someone from the air it doesn't connect unless the chain connects at their head or your crossing them up..
  2. Timing is very strict on the 6D~A follow up, and you have to have another 50% meter once the dashing 3C hits or else you won't be able to follow up with anything else. It is nice though because they can't burst during the 6D~A's... well they can.. but it would be stupid.. The 214D~C follow up is much easier although I'm not sure on the damage compaired to the other follow up. (without using another 50% meter) You can also get stopped via a burst easier doing this follow up...
  3. Not really a reset... But after a Jakou you can jump straight up and j.6D. If they tech roll it'll catch them in a floating position and you can pull yourself in with D then follow up with 5C, 2C, 4D~ect
  4. Every once and awhile 5D~B, 4/6D will work... They'll see you aproaching go for the AA and you'll get a CH chain off in the middle of the "B" follow up. Doesn't work all the time but it's fun to mix in to see if you can get a hit from it.
  5. This makes sense, anytime it did actually latch the chain hit them at a further distance, when it was retracting and allowing them to tech imediatly the chain always connected at a closer distance...
  6. You get to link more 6D's if it's a FC up to 4 I think it was, I don't remember if the normal hit was 2 or 3 though... Now that you mention it Phoenix, I think I do remember Zakiyama taking a slight step backwards everytime he does the 6D's after Jayoku. I dunno if that's just to help him with timing or what though. I'll have to try it next time I head out there. It's not a complete backstep... it's just like a step or so backwards...
  7. ^^ QFT! Most people I talk to use the "C" follow up because they haven't gotten used to the momentum that he gains while using the "D" follow up. I like to do j.2C though because it has a longer hitstun and you can go into Jayoku pretty easily or just dash in and 2A combo starter. I'm not sure if there is a big damage difference though, I never really look at that stuff unfortinatly =/ You've got to bait one... Leave a blockstring open for retaliation then instead of trying to continue pressure use 6C and get out of there. If they try something it'll CH, and if they block it your usually far enough to get back to a position where you can block the followup from them.
  8. More often than not you end up pretty far away after a CH 6C, but 5D~D> j.2C>(whatever followup) will link so that's typically the easiest thing to do.
  9. Yeah, your completely right on the purple throw. It's not something I usually do, but it was working great today (lots of throw reject miss') so I just tried some different followups. (Lol at people mashing so hard the fucking cabinet shakes) But that's exactly what I thought about the 6D's. I figured I was just hitting the "A" too early so I tried it without even doing the "A" follow up and the same tech problem still happened. It's weird because I never have that issue on any of the other multiple chain combos... it only happens after Jayoku.
  10. Went to AI to play a bit more today, but I can't for the life of me figure out why 95% of the time I connect a 6D after Jayoku they just tech right after the snake hits them instead of going into hitstun Also, on BnB combos where you follow up with 4D~D, if you can hear them mashing like crazy you can always go into a purple throw instead of "MOAR j.C" If you decide to go into the throw the follow up combo will be "j.B+C, j.4D~D, 5C, j.Cx5, j.214B"
  11. Hazama is a new character... and the games been out a little over 2 months... Expecting something "complete" at this point really is wishful thinking
  12. Honestly I don't play him at a high enough level as to write up a complete list of combos due to the fact that so many of them rely on very specific spacing... For this same reason I find it hard to believe that a player of a higher level would sit down and do a writeup holding all our hands and walking us through the combos when sp many of them are just defendant on you ACTUALLY playing the game and experimenting with the spacing required of all them..
  13. Seiously... watch a video where someone does it, and listen to when the startup begins in relation to where the opponent is on the screen.
  14. A couple of things after tonight... So I JUST realized after playing today you can cancel his chains into Jakou without hitting A (yeah I feel retarded) Also, is B+C, [6D~A]x2, 623D character specific? And wow it's really taking forever to get the timing on the 6D~A's after Jayoku... Jayoku, 44, 632146C only took a couple trys to get it down, but the multiple 6D~A's....
  15. No it doesn't have to be a CH to get that combo. Depending on where the 214D~C hits you'll either have to delay or hasten the 5C. I'ts a real pain in the ass for me to get the timing so I've just been doing 5C, 2C, 4D~D, ect, unless I KNOW the 2C is going to connect before they tech.
  16. I do it by how low he gets... j.C does have a unexpectedly high hitbox while its going though. (IE: you can get pretty low and still hit with the next j.C) To be honest it just takes practice. I dropped it for awhile at first, but once you get it you'll be able to keep doing it rather easily.
  17. What is this... I don't even... It's like saying "just block once your cursed and you'll be fine" or "just push B+C anytime you get grabbed and you'll be fine" Good Ragna's aren't going to just leave themselves open, and chances are if they do end a blockstring with an unsafe move it's because your out of range to punish them. Your going to have to do a bit work for a win against Ragna...
  18. That's ALL the overhead elbow combos into If your talking about 214D~A as the overhead kick, then yeah it combos into 2A and you do the regular follow up. I'm pretty sure the damage is low because of the proration...
  19. Hazama has other command grabs? It's a bit short but it beats out quite a few moves. It's not long enough to get through Jin or Lambda's swords but it's still fun to do when you know a burst is coming... I'm not sure why it worked, but I've even beat out a couple random Carnage Siccsiors with it.
  20. Your SUPPOSED to wait for j.C to finish so you can get max damage, but KV is right j.C is JC'able. If you do it wrong and cancel the first couple of j.C's with a jump you'll drop the combo.
  21. It's really dead on weeknights now... You can practice all you like, just have to make it down there for a single night... I went down there Tuesday and had some fun matches with a Noel player but after he left I was the only one on the BB machines
  22. There is no "timing" someone can tell you online which will allow you to pick it up and go with it. You basically just have to experiment untill you get it right. Start with timing it so that you do the motion and hit the "C" just AS they bounce on the floor and go from there trying it sooner and later untill you get it... The bounce on the floor should be your reference point and not the actual timing of the move because depending on where you are on the screen it takes them longer/shorter ammounts of time to hit the floor.
  23. I'm definatly no pro, but I DO know that when you get predictable with using 214D~A to continue a blockstring and close in on them again you will get punished for it (very easily I might add) which I didn't really see happen to him in the video...
  24. Command grab > random carnage scissors Lol that was just full of win
  25. I feel like this is the case with almost all of his setups... You really have to experiment the first time you play him because everything has a specific timing that won't work if you do it too late/early. 214D~C after Jayoku, 6D~A going into Jakou, dashing 3c after Jakou, pool super after Jakou... ect Hell even his BnB won't work if you time the 5C after 214D~C wrong Edit: FFFFFFFFFFUCK I hate the 236236B input, I just superjump the whole godamn time.
