  1. Big note: 2d > spring raid.
  2. There's a 4 frame delay on macro'd PKS romans
  3. Dont combo into the command throw like Brown said. Drive nails are fine for zoning, however i use them in pressure whenever i can. You have to get better at doing your combos. You were using 5a as a poke like you're supposed to, but you weren't actually doing a combo when it hit, or actually doing blockstrings. 2d is a great move, but you can't spam it that much against better players, you'll get punished alot. Be careful on the wakeup distortions, 98% of the time they wont hit because it's a 19 frame startup move. 6d on wakeup if you dont want to guess high/low, it has frame 1 guard points, so it acts as a reversal against mid/lows.
  4. Nope, doesn't make a difference for the AD enkasus. I play on pad too, just have to get the timing for it.
  5. You should be able to react to his overhead with your eyes closed, the sound is unmistakable.
  6. Jin can only cancel his overhead into ANYTHING if the overhead hits. Block it and he's free.
  7. Johnny > Bang all day.

  8. Blazblue is the first game that allows you to do inputs DURING the super flash. You may be able to do inputs AFTER the super flash and BEFORE the super hits you in other games, which is very common knowledge. But in 99% of games, during a super flash you can't do a standing 720, put the controller down, then walk away and come back to see your move finishing.
  9. oh lol thanks. I've been trying to get someone to make a new one where it's bang getting thrown instead, but no one has the timez :\

  10. You go straight into the distortion. No blocking required.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJqW8bnOEhQ#t=2m13mm Just so everyone else knows, it's not just Bang Install that you can A nail glide with. To see it for yourself, super jump, dash forward and do an A nail immediately after the dash. You'll see bang quickly fall to the floor. As shown in the video above, it stops people from jumping out of your pressure, it also hits some characters backdashes.
  12. That was the first time I played alzarath in BB, we only played GG against eachother before today. :] Even though this isn't bang specific, me and Mike Z have been working on a video, and Bang players can benefit from watching and learning this tactic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLihwTbGTiA
  13. kay, uploaded the alzarath matches: Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN_kLBFbI_o Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC8HMtCheiI We went even most of the night, but all around always ggs.
  14. Lame I'll reupload. Edit: because of how poorly id have to cut things in order for it to fit in one video I'll just have to upload 2.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJqW8bnOEhQ Me playing XAQ's Jin twice then Alzaraths Rachel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_J32k4uXSkc And me playing Kirbys Noel a few times.
  16. Yes, the hitstop extends the guardpoint frames. The autoguard is only 10 frames, but you can viably see it last through an entire v-13 distortion, or even two of them if you time it right.
  17. Doras really just good with hitting people with the same gimmicks over and over again. It's not even that he always has good spacing, its that he has good spacing for HIMSELF. He purposely spaces himself wrong sometimes just to setup command throws on techs, making people think they're safe. The way he plays there isn't ever a "here you should be this far away" that you can refer to it as. It's always a "If you want to hit them with X, you can make them think X wont hit by doing Y." But if they do Z, which still happens, Dora has to get back in.
  18. When i go for seal fights i'm normally more defensive. I want to instant block until i get a 4 seal so i have heat to go into frkz when i want to. And yeah iad command throw.
  19. If you're playing mixup Bang then all I can say is get good at reading your opponent. Know when you think they're going to jump out of your pressure and throw them, know when you think they want to throw a reversal and 2d it. Bang gets his mixup for free in the US, so high low all day.
  20. erm, rolling is still a 50/50, you just dash after them instead of poking before they roll. meaty a 2a then go with pressure, or if you have them scared go for command throws and overheads.
  21. damnit i need the ps3 back so i can mess with bumper stuff.
  22. Since the OP didn't clarify, i just went with how i felt i should answer it. I didnt answer like "OMG guyz! If we want to play like dora bangs a 10!" I answered it as how hard bangs strategies, combos, bumper use and everything else go. He's probably a 6 tops, including everything he has to learn overall. Bumpers, combos, setups, frkz. The game simply isn't deep enough for anyone to get a 10.
  23. Can I get a list from you of what you would like posted as BnBs and I'll throw a list up.
  24. It's a tool that's meant to be used. If you're learning a character, you're learning the character. The question isn't "How hard is it to learn and play the character the way you want to play him". The question is how hard is it to learn the character. Truth be told no one in the US has even come close to learning everything about bang. Furinkazan is one thing, but during regular play, bumper use is avoided because it's too hard for people to get used to. The mixup off of bumpers is crazy, but hardly anyone practices it because it's hard to judge things by eye and be quick enough to use them and know when its a good idea and when it isn't. The same thing can be said by that, bumpers only come into play if you want them to. In that same sense it's like someone asking how hard it is to learn bang when you only know his one bnb and no regular character specifics or other combos. Just because they only come into play when you decide you want them in play doesn't have anything close to an effect on how hard the CHARACTER is to learn. And Bang isn't scaling too high on the being formidable without everything he has part, or he wouldn't be the second worse character in game.
