Yo you guys probably forgot about this thread and its my fault for like not going on dustloop ever because of the stupidity but yeah I'd be down to push buttons with anyone in binghamton although I'd prefer guilty gear I guess blazblue is a possibility. ALso theres a great ssf4 club on campus called guard break, they have some really tough competition and its a good place to level up i guess

I need help with this matchup. I play Zidane's anji and I can't fight against it.

Yeah i just found that out the other day, however i only tested with faust and testament. For 4r5 i meant without the guardbar flashing so that the throw is counterhit, i meant like if u do a block string that raises guardbar just a little bit your throw will do more damage (if your testament or faust i should really check with other characters to confirm this).

Individual attacks dont do more damage but combos do. Even if the guard bar is slightly jacked, not flashing just slightly jacked, a combo will do more damage then if it was at 0. Also if ur guard bar is slightly jacked throws DO do more damage

Bombs force people to jump so there are a few things you can do. They will usually super jump if they are right in the middle of the bomb radius so u can try and run up and tag them with a sj hs. If u get them in a block string while a bomb is there you can super jump bomb bag so that after the bomb hitsthe bomb bag keeps them in block stun. You can go for mettakiri or regular throw if the opponent just sits there before the bomb goes off, or my favorite is waiting for them to jump them attempting an airthrow which is much harder than it seems but its actually what alot of good players are trying to do to you as well. Or u can just slashback the bomb...

Well he's fighting baiken who will sometimes let u throw her alot especially if u get shit off of it like chipp. This thread made me realize how good of a character faust is...HE NEEDS NOTHING CHANGED...that is if noone else gets a buff or nerf.

If you can space it right then your js can catch fausts jhs on its recovery. I actually find it hard to anti-air johnny. Jumping in the using killer joker early to catch a 6p is apparently a legit tactic. 6p is your friend as it beats scapel AND 5s. However dont get to happy to beat 5s u cant 6p on reaction but have to guess and this can easily be baited. One of the things the johnny's i play( A3religion and JohnnyEnsenga) usually do is push me into the corner by ibing jhs in the air then instant airdashing in. Once u get faust into the corner its time to get the gaurd meter up. Oh and dont wake up super unless u see faust throwing out a normal. Faust can actually 5d that shit on reaction and dish out about 180 to 200+ damage of off it
